Outstanding visit. Thanks for limiting park attendance due to covid. Longest ride wait 30 minutes. Wonderful staff and beautiful flowers.
We love Dollywood. It is great for families with children of all ages. The people who work there are great and always courteous. Get there EARLY if you are going to park there. I suggest parking at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge and riding the trolley.
This is a real good place to take the kids during Christmas time do you have to make sure and get the cinnamon bread before you leave
Not busy, food was great and staff all over wonderful.
It was great at Dollywood. This is my happy place!
Great customer service and support for wheelchair bound friend. Beautiful grounds. Nice entertainment popping up all over the park.
Roller coasters were PAINFUL! Could have been excellent rides with smoother curves n transitions. Bummer!
Had a great time. Bought season passes for 2020. Hope to make many more trips.
Dollywood is my favorite amusement park hands down! The atmosphere, the feeling, the staff, the food, the rides. It's all perfect. My family of 4 loves it! We have came over 5x now, & never had a issue. But we did notice the most recent visit in 2020 that half of the staff seemed to be more annoyed then helpful. Maybe it was cause of the crowd of octoberfest? Either way would still come again.
Good food good entertainment and great rides. Fun for the whole family.
Mickey has a place, Dolly has one too! Great fun and nice people! We loved it, just as much$ as Disney pretty much though.
We really enjoyed our family time! It has good rides and it has been very well kept
OMG all the HILLS! I'm in pretty good shape but after an hr of walking around and up, up, up, those hills I was done. The grounds are gorgeous but I gotta take off 2 stars for the placement of the rides relative to the entrance!
This was our 1st time visiting so I was taken aback when I realized how far the entry point was from the rides. There are many stores etc but come on! I was exhausted from climbing that hill before I got to the rides! Well at least I know in the 4hrs I spent there I burned a ton of calories!
In the plus side the staff is phenomenal. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Made you feel at home.
I went for the lumilights. It was so adorable. I really loved the lights and the pumpkins. Everything was super cute! Loved it and would return.
By far the best themeparks i've ever been to, even beating disney and universal. Staff is very kind and the rides are so much fun
We enjoy the shows at Dollywood. We appreciate that many of the employees are Senior Citizens. The restaurants offer a great variety of foods. We especially like Smoky Mountain Christmas.
We love Dollywood! Always a great time. So many great rides for my young kids!
What a great down home park! The Lighting Rod is one of the best coasters I have ever ridden and the Cinderella steam train is just beautiful. Great value as well. We will be going back!!!
This place is a gem. They have plenty of rides both thrill and otherwise. It is hilly so be warned but this is a great one or two day park that is near all kinds of attractions in a very beautiful part of the country.
There is also a very patriotic and almost Christian feel here. They even have a church in the park that had a Sunday service. Many may not like this but I found it refreshing.
The steam engine they have here is second to no amusement park train I've ever ridden. The train at the Magic Kingdom is magnificent but this one actually runs on coal. It is a chance to experience the sounds and smells of a bygone era. It is not to be missed!
LumiNights at Dollywood is Amazing and well worth the ticket price of $35 per adult from 5pm to closing. If you have never been then you definitely need to check it out. Also they have Christmas Lights starting in a week or so and we are definitely coming back.
Absolutely perfect! No long waits for anything. Very affordable pricing. Everything was better than I expected. I can't wait to go back.
First trip here, was everything I hoped it would be. Wonderful park, wonderful staff, great rides, operations were smooth. Loved every minute!
Had a great time with my family. Very friendly staff. Fun for kids. Plenty of food choices and gift shop prices were reasonable.
Recommend to visit at Christmas time!! Its a magical, beautiful, great place!
Very impressed with the cleanliness of the park and the variety of attractions for all ages of the family. All the ride operating staff were very friendly, engaged, and offered service with a smile. Being an engineer, I'm always worried about how well amusement parks maintain their equipment to ensure the safety of my family and there was no question in my mind at Dollywood that they have a world class maintenance program. This being our 1st visit, my whole family had a great day. We were there just before opening around 10:00 am and didn't leave until 7:30 pm that night. Our experience was so good, we are considering season passes for next year!
Worst worst really so much worst service at the Dollywood ticket centre i just need to cancel my tickets and i had to wait for 2 hours and even i tried to call them non of the call reached them.
Way too crowded for me. If you want to wait in line for everything, then you should be fine. Prices were a little high on just about everything also.
We love Dollywood. This is no Disney World but it is the best thing in Tennessee. Dolly Parton is amazing and the theme park that is set up here is sure to please. Our family loves this park and it seems there are new roller coasters every couple of years! Best spot for anyone going to vacation in the smokies.
You must do the following:
1. Ride on the coal train
2. Eat all the Cinnamon bread
3. Go at Christmas time! It is gorgeous. (Roller coasters may be closed due to weather)
Pumpkins where beautiful. Maybe next year the entrance will be better marked for the luminaries
Everything about Dollywood is amazing. Family friendly. Rides, crafts, shows, train, tasty foods, and so much more. So far I've attended The Halloween Festival, Christmas Celebration, and Festival of Nations and all were spectacular. Highly recommend going, especially getting a season gold pass, it comes with so much!
Great Pumpkin Luminights is one of the top Fall festivals in the country. Amazing craftsmanship
Park itself is fun and they do a great job decorating for the holidays! The only thing is they let it get overcrowded esp. the day we went since everyone got in for child price that day and they had some performances going on but the waits forgetting on rides was ridiculous-also the wait to get in as well as leaving was bad. We d have waited for probably 2-3 hours just to take the trolley to parking so we walked Instead
What's not to love about Dollywood. Great rides and great entertainment. Fun for all ages. Season path is worth it if you live close enough.
Great theme park. Our family really enjoyed the rides, shows and people. The only bad thing is the price of food. It's outrageous!!!!!! Be prepared to walk, allot. Wear comfortable shoes. Something for everyone here, but if you buy anything, it's going to be high, in my opinion.
My family and I get season passes every year. We ve been about 20 times this year. My kids really enjoy our family days here. Food and atmosphere is awesome, you couldn t ask for a more family friendly place.
PS: wild wood grove is amazing! We spend hours just in this area of the park. The indoor play area and fairies are a hit with my crew.
Had a blast!!!! Great rides. Liked how we could have Free water all day long! Liked how I could just go straight on rides when we got there.
Came here to see and hear Hillary Klug! Finally found her! But didn't find anything to tell me where she was!
Enjoyed every minute, Shows were good, people were nice and lighted parade was fun.
What a great experience. So many different things to do and see. The pumpkins are incredible! The lights and rides were great. Staff is friendly and has a great accent... Or wait, do I have the accent? Definitely a must see.
I've been going to dolly wood since forever love making memories
Very helpful, courteous staff, all the staff was great, security staff, gift shop, ride attandence staff. Very much a fun Family Park!
Beautiful fall festival decorations. Staff very friendly. Took extra precautions with covid. Hand sanitizer before getting on every ride, tram, or enter restaurant.
Awesome place to visit. Easy to get around. Plenty of things to see for everyone. Love me some mountains
It's great if you like waiting 2+ hours for rides and getting shoulder to shoulder crowds running into you. The Christmas lights are pretty though.
Perfect day there great weather and we got to see the show's had a good time hanging out with some of my family.
Fun park for the family. Lots of hills. Rides are unique and there's something for everyone. Beautiful park!
Simply always good fun for the whole family and there's something for all ages to enjoy!
This is a really good and clean park. All the employees where we'll dressed and helpful. When you go, start at the front and go clockwise, starting with Thunderhead. Everyone else will be going the other way and Lighting Rod will have a huge wait. Use the Dollywood app to see wait times.
We purchased season passes to ride the lightning rod I have disabled family members that enjoy going to amusement parks very much but we went four different times and still never got to ride the lightning rod probably will skip next year due to we were also unable to ride some of the rides because they were shut down for maintenance several different things I did not like the food is not that good for the price I think it is overpriced and I have found that this park is relatively small in comparison to other amusement parks though I wished it was better because I think Dolly Parton is great singer she just needs to try harder to listen to her disabled customers we would come back if she asked
Great family entertainment. Halloween was unbelievable
A lot of stuff to do there even if you have a wheelchair. Been there twice and still not got to see everything
We had a great day! Perfect weather and it wasn't too crowded!!
We always enjoy our visits to Dollywood! They have done a great job adding hand washing stations throughout the park during the COVID pandemic, tho I don't care for the sticky hand sanitizer required at each ride but totally understand it. The staff wasn't quite as friendly this visit, but I think that's how most people are, considering the pandemic.
Soooooo much fun! Has something for all ages and excitement levels!
.My favorite place in the beautiful Smoky mtns. Been coming here 29years and I will keeo coming bk and making family memories
Had a great experience here. Super clean park with great shops and some surprisingly good coasters. Burgers and shakes at the diner near Lightning Rod were disappointing but the other food we had throughout the day and the rest of the experience made up for it. We will definitely be back.
That was my second time at Dollywood and we have all decided we do not want to return.
Shows are great, beautiful park, excellent coasters, always a fun time there.
The employees made our day wonderful! Wherever we went, a helpful employee was there. They all want to make sure you have a good day from the parking lot employees to the exit "greeter." I was also very impressed by the health screening before we went in. It was nice to know that everyone you were with in the park had a health screening! I am so glad I have season passes.
My family and I loved this park!!!! I ve been to several parks all over the place and this one is definitely at the top of my list. It s so family oriented. The kiddy park is great and there is tons of bigger coasters for older kids. All the shops were nice to look in and the food was amazing. I loved the free ice water they gave you, I only drink water so that was amazing. But hands down the best part was the nursing stations for me to nurse my baby. I was weary at first to bring my then 7 month old with us to an amusement park and was positive it was going to be horrible. But let me tell you they have the best set up for nursing moms I ve seen. They have several spots throughout the park, all of them are air conditioned and have gliders in them. Dollywood has thought of everything and I m so glad they did. I will definitely be going back!!!!
No beer...omg!
Clean, fun attendants.
Cheerful place, the rides are interesting mix. I enjoyed the Wild Eagle was the best, miners for short stubby coaster was eventful and quick.
You must close your ride with the drop tower.
Came to ride lightning rod and it is closed again. This ride is closed too much!
Other than that everything else was good.
Beautiful, well done, perfect place to bring the family.
Our family has always loved Dollywood, but I gave it 4 stars because probably half of the park is uphill. It's tough walking uphill all day, especially in the Summer. The rides are awesome and the food is good. Plenty of rides for adults and kids also. Shows are great too. All the staff at the park are very friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of restrooms and they're air conditioned. The arts and crafts throughout the park are wonderful.
I had a amazing time here with my family. I high recommend coming on a rainy day, as lines are almost nonexistent. However, it is a little pricey. The "game" section of the park is in need of and update as there is about 8 unique games.
What can I say? Dollywood is amazing. Everyone is super nice and the rides were beyond amazing. My wife and I both love rollercoasters and we definitely got our fill. I went to Dollywood when I was a kid so it was great to show my wife how fun it is there. She had a great time! We both left really happy and worn out from all the rides haha. It was a great day.
Great place for kids. We had a pretty good time. The food wasn't to brag on but not bad for an amusement park. Everybody that worked done their job pretty well unlike other places my family have been. I say 5 stars
Frequent visitor. It is always fun. Food is a bit pricey, but it's a theme park....so, I guess that is to be expected.
The staff is always friendly and courteous. We love this place.
Coolest place I have ever been theres so much to do an see way better then the water park but I know the waterpark is not that old yet so it will get a lot better with time but the amusement park is on point
I can't say enough about Dollywood. We have been going there for years. The park is great for people of all ages and is very well thought out. The park has many trees throughout which helps to keep you cooler in the summer. Also, valley service is highly advised. Not only the vallet staff amazing, it gets super close to the entrance and the car close after a long day of walking around.
So. Much. Fun!!! Went for the first time during Christmas, but it definitely won't be my last time! Lights were beautiful and the train ride was so cool! Love to hear that wistle blow!!
We went after five pm because the wifey said we would get a discount and I just wasnt sure. So we pay the 15$ for parking and park in DE or Dollys Earring is the name of parking lot. We get bracelets to get on the tram because it is about a 1.5 mile walk to the entrance whick took about 30 min. to get through. After we get to the gate we have to buy tickets so another 15 min. wait and we get 4 tickets for 157$ and some change so that isnt bad for 4 hours there. We rode many rollercoasters saw the Luminight Halloween displays rode the Hot rod cars as welk as tried some food and drink. I think the priciest thing is food and drink especially if you have kids. So for about 200$ we had a nice October evening also the wifey says we can go back today with the same ticket since we were there only 4 hours. We going to go see if that happens and I will let yalls know! Either way it is a great place for family or to cool for schoolers that want thrill rides! Thank you Dollywood Crew and Dolly Parton!
Never felt safer. No attitudes! Friendly staff! Great food! Great entertainment! Loved every minute of my stay. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend to any family or a church group outing. I really cannot say enough about how pleased I wad with our visit! I love Dolly Wood!!!
My family loves Dollywood! There's a wide variety of rides for all ages, the shows are great, and it isn't so large that you can't do it all in a day.
Great place for families and thrill seekers. It's a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life where you can walk around and see good sights and ride some awesome rides. They also offer a payment plan for season passes at the beginning of every season that makes it affordable to have a quick day trip all year long.
Love dollywood you can beat the people who work there and the rides are awesome. But today we went and several rides was down which really sucked lightening Rod which is down alot and the Dragon flyer two of the rides i wanted to ride. Love eating there Dollywood have some great restaurants in there.
HUGE park with SO much to do. Could easily spend 2 days here with rides, shows and shops!
My wife and I visited for the Christmas shows, which were very good, especially the Smoky Mountain Christmas show, that was the best.
Great rides my personal favorite is the wild eagle, great staff and honestly my favorite amusement park
My happy place! This park has everything for adults and kids alike. Rides, shows, food, festivals, the works! Yes, the lines get long but what good theme park doesn't have that problem? Purchasing the TimeSaver pass is worth the investment to really make the most of your day.
Now this place was amazing. It rained on us se real times on the first day we went but they gave us rain checks and we were able to go again for a second day. The food there is totally awesome as well. Way better than other theme parks. Here are my top 5 roller coasters and/or rides:
1. The Wild Eagle - smooth and awesome
2. The Mystery Mine - unique and surprising
3. Dragonflier - totally under appreciated - fun!!!!
4. The Dropline - Awesome view from the top
5. The Mad Mockingbird - surprising kiddy ride that is super fun!!!
I have only visited Dollywood in the summer before so I had never seen the lights and I was blown away. The decorations are nice during the day but when the sun goes down and everything is light up it is amazing!! And of course there are still all the rides to enjoy but, sadly not many shows when we visited due to covid.
Best amusement park I've ever been to. Something for the whole family from young to old. All the staff are super nice and friendly. Eat at the buffet, best bang for your buck, and see the pumkin lights. Very clean place with lots of restrooms and places to sit. If you ever go to the Smokey's, go to Dollywood.
Great variety of fun stuff for kids and adults. New rides added year on year
The roller coasters are incredible. The food is overpriced and really bad! I had a growth chicken caesar salad that had two small pieces of chicken in it and it was $11. Other than the food the rides were great. We went on a Wednesday while school was in but I've heard that if you go I'm busy days the weights are very long.
Great place to go to bring your family. Ticket prices are out the wazoo though. If you're a TN native, you're better off buying a season ticket, as by your second visit, it will pay for itself. Great time to go is during the weekdays, as you'll mostly have the park to yourself!
Great place to spend a day with the family! The kids loved the shoes!
