Great show. We saw wizard of Oz and sat up close. The performance was great, the sets were well designed, and the actors/actresses did a great job!! The food was good and the service was top notch. I wish we lived closer to go back more often!

My first time at Larry Keaton to see 'Steel Magnolias.' Sound system and sight lines are good. Not traditional theatre seating but instead tables and chairs that they can move around for their dinner theatre shows. I enjoyed the experience.

"Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat" was so well done. A lot of talent from all age groups. The meal before the musical was delicious. Runs until February 29 at Keeton Theater in Donelson. Don't miss it.

Great fun and great show. You can even BYOB. The ushers and servers are HS Drama team volunteers. Nice open tables and seating more comfortable and flexible. I can't wait for next production. What a gem in Donelson.

The dinner theater is why I went. The theater production was excellent with professional cast. The atmosphere is sort of a school gymnasium type room. Food is very cafeteria-like. But it was affordable. You can bring your own wine and they'll provide the glasses and corkscrew.

I have attended 3 seasons if dinner theater and have enjoyed all of them, but not so much this evening. Actually my friends and I could not wait for the play to end, since it was such a departure from the norm.

I should have been clued in when I noticed many tables were half empty.

There were none of the regular cast and this was not a musical. Although the actors were good, it seemed like a lot of shouting and many times the play made no sense.

Larry Keaton has not been present the last few plays.which I wonder if this may be why this sudden change in venue

The opening was provided with such speed and lack of connection with the audience, I wondered if the poor woman was on antihistamines, since she barely took a breath. Yes, I have always enjoyed Larry's personal touch and his monalouge. It has been clearly missed these last two plays.

My friends and I will be more mindful of next season's schedule and have decided to not re-up or season tickets. We will plan to attend any type of musicals that the theater is known for.

Wonderfull theater, thanks to Larry Keeton and the folks at Wilson County Bank & Trust, the performing actors, and the many volunteers who support and work to keep it going. We, the neighbors and all those who participate, thank you for your efforts.

There was a lot to like about the experience and one disappointing component. My girlfriend and I were looking for something to do this past weekend and found this theater on a Google search. They were showing the Wizard of Oz. It was very affordable at $30 per person, including dinner. The food was decent, not great, but very reasonable for the five dollar additional charge. The wait and serving staff were very cordial and did a good job. The theater was an old school cafeteria that probably works better than some of the local theaters I have been to in the past, since they had a stage. The Wizard of Oz featured actors from probably six years old to 65 years old. The main cast of actors was extraordinary for local theater, particularly Dorothy. However, the actress who played the wicked witch of the west, struggled with her lines throughout the course of the performance and really lessened the quality of the play. She stumbled over three or four lines and her delivery may have been the worst I ve ever seen in theater. I noticed numerous guests in the crowd looking around with puzzled faces at her less than stellar performance. With that said, we still enjoyed our evening and found ourselves economically entertained for a Saturday night. I would recommend trying this place for theater lovers. Overall, a fun night out and we will try it again.

The theater is in a historic old school building. Byob and they will provide you with a wine glass. Servers are volunteers from Rotary club to dance groups that accept donations for their cause. Meals change to match the theme of the show a little bit. Choice off coffee, tea, water. Soda for $1. Then sit back and enjoy a professional quality musical or play by the community actors.

I have been to many dinner theaters over the years and this is the best I have ever been to. It's a small venue, but the two productions I've seen so far were extremely well done! Food was good, theater was good ... overall, an excellent experience. Looking forward to getting season tickets for next season in order to continue the experience!
