Unmissable place to visit in NYC. In the park opposite you can eat one of the best hamburgers in the city.

I went to visit this time. I did not expect that the exterior wall was being renovated. I only saw half of the iron, which is a pity!

Nice picture content, interesting architecture. Nothing more to enjoy or to say. We had the impression that many people around are even more stressed than in the rest of the city. Most negative example was a woman slapping her handbag on our camera.

Easy area to access with subway. Very open area to take pictures, super easy to Google and walk or ride subway too.

The Flatiron Building was constructed between 1901 and 1903 at the intersection of Broadway and Fifth Avenue, at the time one of the most prominent locations in New York City. It is situated near Madison Square at the end of the Ladies' Mile, one of Manhattan's most important shopping districts at the turn of the nineteenth century.
The Flatiron Building was designed by Chicago's Daniel Burnham as a steel-frame skyscraper clad in white terra-cotta. At 21 stories and 307 ft (93 meters), it was one of the city's tallest buildings. It was not - as is often incorrectly thought - the tallest building in the world or even the tallest building in New York (these titles belonged to the Park Row Building, built in 1899), but its singular shape and prominent location soon made it one of New York City's most famous landmarks.

Really spectacular of the most unique buildings that can be seen in New York City, when you get to see the narrowest part it looks narrower than you can imagine. I loved.

A must visit An incredible place there are small tables to drink and surround yourself with the environment

Simply lovely. Historically significant to the early industrial growth to New Amsterdam . Recommend a stroll around Madison Square Park friend to all ages and happy four legged pals as well. May wish to research where the first Madison Square Garden Arena once stood before arriving here.Enjoy a few hours of floral gardens and Shake Shack burger and shakes.An afternoon of relaxation and a pay public toilet for two legged ones.

What can be added to the most iconic building in New York.

Lot of activities there. Great to relax at the end of the day with a cone of ice cream or to grab a beer

This is a great place to take take selfies. The building is iconic.

The architecture is stunning.

and there is a really cool book store around the corner from this place.

My local friend told me that if you don't have a picture in from of the Flatiron building you aren't a true New Yorker.

He might be right all the guys use it in their tinder profile pictures

The flatiron building is a must see location in NYC. It's historical, beautiful and the perfect photo opportunity. The area is surrounded by a beautiful park, an area to sit down and connect to free WIFI, get a snack at a quality food cart or at the eatalia store right across the street. All these aspect together offer a perfect resting spot for tourists on foot.

Great location for tourists and excellent site for historical events and shopping in New York city.

It is really impressive, have triangular structure and is perfect for take pictures, knowing about its history is something that every tourist should investigate.

When I got out of the subway I couldn't figure out where the Flatiron Building was. I raised my head and ... there it is!

This building has got it's name after the shape of flat iron.
It's location at intersection of Broadway, 5th avenue and East 23d street in the center of Manhattan with the picturesque square in front attracts a lot of tourists and the locals.
It's a famous place for entertainments of different kinds and relaxation.
It's also a good meeting point.
Btw, there are some other buildings of this type in other US cities.

An architectural gem. One of the first "Skyscrapers".

Emblematic NY building that should be part of your walks around the city. In front you can find a small area where in summer there are chairs and tables to sit and admire from there the building.

Loved seeing it! Incredible craftsmanship especially for the time back then. Overall great experience.

It looks good. Just a building, but it is almost a visit card of New York.
