For a light bite I'd really recommend their Macaroni Cheese with a side of Home Fried Chips. I say light bite, it'll either leave you defeated or wanting more. Very well seasoned and perfect if you have an empty stomach. The view of the rapids is very nice too. Pat on the back deserved by the staff.

Traditionally known for fine ale and food but now has a scheme where they have a board outside turning daytime food customers away unless they've pre-booked (who knew you had to). Inside at 2pm it wasn't even busy. There are excellent other venues to eat in Llangollen now, they have the lovely river platform but not the monopoly of Llan they arrogantly think. Could have been managed better.

Had a reservation for a Sunday night. They had run out of a few items on the menu due to a busy day but what was left was top notch! Fantastic starter a main and a nice selection of real ales. If I'm back in the area I'd be sure to visit for food again!

We waited an hour, during a moderately busy lunchtime, for a Steak sandwich that may as well have been served on a napkin at the side of the road.
We left, much to the staffs embarrassment.

Never go to Llangollen without popping into the cornmill if even just for a brew (their hot chocolate is lovely). The location of the mill on the river makes it a gorgeous spot to go for food or drinks, which they have a great selection of.

Lovely pub been coming here for years with my mum and dad and returned this year with my own family. Food was excellent and good beer too. Would recommend when visiting this lovely town.

really friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a bite to eat. My friends and I love the setting especially in the summer months. Dan who works behind the bar is very friendly and welcoming to everyone, strangers or locals.
on the very odd occasion something hasn't been quite right with my meal the management have sorted and replaced it immediately.
one of the many lovely places to eat in Llangollen but does get very busy.

First time at the Corn Mill. Lovely position with great views of the river from the upstairs tables. Food was good and puddings to die for. Not sure why I was only offered lager upstairs when good beers were available downstairs but good Becks nevertheless.
Be warned though. Parking near is impossible. Long stay car park only 200 yards away though. A place we would definitely revisit.
