In the past 6 months I have been here twice, and the food has dropped in quality. Had to send my starters back twice as cold also the front of house service not attentive. Over priced!!

Wonderful location in an old corn mill with magnificent views of the nearby river. The service was excellent as was the beer.

Well executed food and drink delivered by pleasant staff amongst the historic machanism of a watermill in it's riverside location.

Out for our anniversary meal and definitely picked the right place for it. The service was prompt and very friendly, the venue is interesting and very well presented and most importantly the food is excellent. The meals cost more than we'd usually pay if we're eating out but you definitely feel that you are getting your money's worth with good ingredients, well cooked and well presented. We were there on a busy bank holiday Monday were they were only able to sit bookings, so it's worth planning ahead. Highly recommended.

Was here over the weekend, sat outside by the river and it was idyllic so I imagine it would be even more enjoyable in the spring or summer

Holidaying in Llangollen and popped in here for a hot chocolate and cake which was yummy, but what made it so much nicer was the staff made us very welcome and the beautiful views on the river.

Honestly perfect. The cornmill building is beautiful inside and out, the outdoor area overlooks the river and is stunning no matter what type of weather. The food is world class, I feel so lucky to have this restaurant down the road from me.

Always a favourite. Great for and beer selection using local produce. Views are stunning being on the river.

Fabulous pub/restaurant in llangollen. Sadly we had already dined for the evening before coming across this gem. Had lovely drinks overlooking the dee. Friendly, professional service lovely atmosphere will be back to sample the food soon. Thank you

Unfriendly staff, not made to feel welcome, slow service.

Have a small , well behaved dog so phoned to see if ok. No problem, reserved a table and Daniel even had a welcoming dog bowl with fresh water for her when we arrived. Delicious pie, not cheap but you get what you pay for. Will be back again with pup.

Expensive food but really tasty (much better than normal pub food) and in a lovely setting.

Busy and popular pub/restaurant in the centre of Llangollen.

Good range of beers/ciders. Choice of food is excellent. Service was okay. Try and sit outside (weather permitting). The decks are built directly over the river Dee. You can watch the canoeists navigate the rapids and see the steam trains come and go from Llangollen s restored station on the opposite bank.

It can get busy with locals and tourists

Staff are always polite and helpful, the views speak for themselves and the food is delicious as well as reasonably priced. It's a place you should go to if you're in the area.

Haven't been for years before tonight. Went for anniversary meal, food was outstanding.

Great location. Good selection of beers. Terrible meal. It should be impossible to ruin a half roast chicken meal. It'll be crispy right? wrong looked crispy, but all soggy, clearly some kind of boil in the bag type regeating, and completely and utterly tasteless all of the flavour thrown away with the bag I guess. Roasties, they'll be good... maybe when they were first cooked a couple of hours before, but were now hard rather than crispy and fairly tasteless, hard al dente veg and tasteless gravy. yum... not! great for a drink and the view, but choose something that has to be cooked fresh like a burger or fish.

We came here for lunch and were very glad we did. I had a starter, main and dessert and they were all cooked and presented really well. Price was also reasonable and the location and views, as well as the interior were beautiful.

Our food was perfect and our waitress, Jade, was one of a kind. She didn't hesitate to make up laugh.

Great pub, as are all in the group, however it could be better if they had a policy of not staying/sitting around the bar at busy times, very difficult to get served and 'locals' seem to resent visitors intruding in 'their' space!
