Lovely setting for a meal. In the heart of Llangollen, obviously next to the gushing river. Not cheap and more for adults than children, though they do offer a small selection of children's meals but they are very expensive.

Food was tasty, portion sizes was as expected as the menu suggested. However, the food naming was misleading. Gazpacho was actually Caprese and fennel salad didn't have fennel in. Ordering mussels and founding out that the restaurant run out of mussels after every other main being served was unacceptable. Overall atmosphere was nice and stuff was very friendly.

Amazing setting by the river, called in for tea on the decking after a canal ride. Shame we didn't have more time to enjoy here. Staff lovely. Lovely building. Watched a heron on the rocks in the river then in the trees. Really lovely spot.

Beautifully refurbished old corn mill jutting out over the river Dee in an absoloutely stunning setting. Service efficient & friendly. Food very good (but not exceptional) but could have been served hotter - which wasn't helped by the fact they had run out of clean cutlery & we had to wait another 5 mins.

Beautiful cool summer afternoon spent on the patio watching kayakers, drinking hot tea and enjoying a delicious meal! Off time in the afternoon 2-4:30 and we had the patio to ourselves once the lunch crowd left!

They found us a table even though they were going to be busy. Food great, nice atmosphere. Great location by the river. The waitress really helpful in helping my fussy friend select a meal and satisfy his sauce requirements.

High quality food at affordable prices. The Corn Mill is right in the middle of Llangollen with fantastic views over the River Dee to the Llangollen Heritage Railway and beyond. Choose from cosy and atmospheric indoor seating or outdoor seating with great views and the sound of the river passing right by. This is a sister restaurant of The Dinorbin Arms in Bodfari. Both are well worth a visit.

Wow what a gorgeous place, amazing setting overlooking the river. Shame about the real ale though, not sure how it's in Good Beer Guide. All 4 we tried were tired, lifeless and well passed their best. Food was pretty good apart from over cooked fish and chips- should've ordered Malay Curry which others thought was excellent.

Wonderful food.

Wonderful food.
We arrived at 2pm on an August Wednesday afternoon, having taken a while to find parking. OK so it was busy, and we had to wait for a while to order and before our food arrived, but it was absolutely well worth it.
We elected to sit indoors, and there was plenty of room to find a niche that sited our needs - quiet, but with a view of the weir (and within earshot of the Llangollen railway!).
So, in summary, not fast food but great food - exactly what we wanted!
Any downside? Only that the vegetarian options were a bit limited

Absolutely stunning setting, the pub is a pleasure to visit. 9 of us recently visited for a family meal having not been before. We were not disappointed, the outdoor decking area is a pleasure to sit and enjoy a drink whilst taking in the view, we then enjoyed a great meal in the pub and the staff all very helpful and friendly. We had a great weather which helped but overall very happy to recommend this to anyone for casual lunch or dinner to a family occasion.

Quality food at competitive prices and very good service. If you leave this restaurant hungry then it's down to you. Portions excellent size, thank goodness for "doggy bags". Recommended, suggest booking a table in advance.

Great setting by the river in town centre and nicely set out inside. Good food, beer and service. We had to be seated on top floor so bit of a trek to tbe bar but a really nice meal and experience. Worth a visit.

Amazing location! We were a little bit underwhelmed with our food for the price, sorry! I don't think the cheap bread/toast accompanying what was otherwise tasty food helped. We enjoyed though and would come again - but would probably go for mains rather than sharing small plates. Staff were friendly and attentive.
