One of the few shops here in Ottawa I go to for Comics, Manga, Anime, and so forth. They have events such as Tuesday nights D&D and Magic the Gathering. Wednesday's open game board night/ Star Wars X-Wing. But don't take my review for it. Come drop by for some D&D or just browse the isles.
I love coming to this shoppe!!! Everyone is great, always knowledgeable. If one person doesnt know it, the other worker will. I go every Saturday morning after my run and try to not spend all my money at once.
I feel giddy just thinking about the cool stuff they have here. From comic books to science fiction paraphernalia. Loads of new stock on a weekly basis. You will leave smiling. :)

I pre ordered a product they said they would carry at the store once it was avaible. They quitted me 89.99 for the cloud strife figure and the hit me with the duty, shipping fee and a profit fee. Which totalled to 135$. Of course they tell me this once it's in and not in advance so I can make a decision to buy. Now I ordered the product online and I'm getting it for much cheaper. Thanks for being sketchy guys. I'm done with that place

I used to be a customer using their subscription service...what a mistake. Every time I went to pick up my comics there were issues missing. Not reliable at all.
Well organized and a bunch of selection including highlighted local talent that you can get into. They have staff pics, specified genres and even some fun comics under the blind date section which is cool because you get to pick your book based off a brief 3 sentence description and jump into the unknown, super savvy staff and a considerably organized library
This is a great comic book shop with a lot of other paraphernalia. Unlike many shops this place is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. The back issues are well organized as are the trade paperbacks. They also have a reasonable selection of collectible comics. They even have a discount rack from gently damaged books. I loved it and I'll definitely be back.

Nice large well lit shop on bank. Large selection of action figures, and geek culture nick-nacks. Their back issue selection is always rotating so check back often. Don't miss myths and legends about a block away if you're looking for something in particular.

I went in on a whim, but its pretty decent for graphic novels and comics books, they also have a small card game section that it somewhat lacking.
During our first visit to this comic book store we were totally impressed by the warm welcome and the service. The staff member was genuinely interested in helping us. We were inquiring about a series of Transformers comics and, like any good comic book store, she offered to order in anything my teenage daughter wanted. She also picked her brain about other comics that my daughter thought she should bring in to stock the shelves. Not only that but she gave her a free start up set for the Transformers trading card game that the store had been given as a promotion. Over all a good visit and we will definitely be going back!

I went to their facebook page and asked if they had a board game expansion in stock. Within the hour someone replied and set it aside for me in my name! I use to buy all my Magic the Gathering decks/singles here. Good selection, pretty big inventory.

Although this is subject to change, I've gotten a supercilious vibe from the staff on more than one occasion. Perhaps that is expected from a comic book store.
Was searching for a costume wig, a nice guy on staff helped search through the catalogue and had suggestions when it wasn't available.
Feels like a home away from home. One of the best comic book shops in the city, and the staff is always friendly and super helpful.
Havent been here in three years. It's a shell of its former glory. I have a place this has been going downhill as a result of the ownership change.
Some staff are really nice but others are real jerks after buying some yugioh starter decks and wanting to try them out with a friend and was granted permission to go to the game room by one of the employees (really nice) and then the employee or the owner downstairs in the game room kicked us out (What a total jerk).

This shop has all things a geek desires varying from comic books to action figures to manga books and finally to board games and card games. They also have an underground floor for game playing i think. 10/10

Been to both stores many times and I always enjoy the experience every time. Staff are helpful when you need to find a comic series and if they dont have it, they try and order it for you. Great selection of board games and merchandise.
Smells like quality comic books. Just feels so good in the store and its clean, not like a library old book smell you know.
Aside for the MTG guy that walks around and answers questions with an air of superiority (maybe he's the the Prince of Innistrad or something, and it's justified...i mean, probably not.... but who knows) the staff are great and the collection of games/comics/etc is solid.

This is a great shop! There's a wide variety of comics, games, figurines, etc. The store is really nicely laid out and there are lots of staff working the floor that can answer your questions. This was my first visit and certainly not my last!

I've been a customer since the 80s, for both the stores on Bank and Clyde. A varied selection of comic books, toys, t-shirts, and related merchandise: it's not easy to walk out without having found something you like. The customer service is top notch. If what you're looking for isn't on the shelves, the staff will order it for you. The staff is always polite and keen to help.
This is the main place my partner and I go to for new board games or anything geek related. Love the staff.
