I blame this place for the lack of care that resulted in my mother s death. Now I am trying to get her medical records from them; and they keep giving me the runaround! The incompetent nurse assigned to my mother, probably didn t even keep any records!

This the most skip shop operation I have ever come across. We were told an ostomy nurse would be to our house on a Friday. No one ever called to tell us the time. When I called mid morning to find out I was told the nurse would call to tell me the time. At 4 I called again; only to be told the nurse would not be here until Monday. My wife does not have enough supplies to last until Monday. I asked to speak to a manager only to told they were all on a meeting. Avoid this company if at all possible!!

We were referred to Virtua Home Caregivers through the Veterans Administration for home health aid services. First, we have an appointment for initial assessment and no one shows up. I called them and was told they had an emergency with another client (note, I had to call them). Week later, we get an appointment for the assessment (because services can't kick off without this initial assessment). We sat for 2 hours going over everything with the nurse. She tells us services will start this upcoming week. Days go by, finally I get a call on Tuesday asking if we wanted someone to start on Thanksgiving I said no thats fine but let's start Saturday. Saturday comes and goes, no one showed up. Monday comes and goes, no one showed up. I called and was told that they don't have anyone in our area to take the job!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy cow, I've been working on getting this service off the ground for 2 weeks and we were expecting someone and you just don't show or call? Thankfully, I'm able to assist my father until we get the assistance but I worry about other clients that are not as fortunate and would be left with no help. Now here is the clincher--they called and left me a message so yesterday I called (figuring I would give them another chance to get their act together because I had already reported this to a manager) and a child picks up the phone who was so young they could barely speak in sentences and she told me her mother wasn't home. I had to call twice because I thought I had to have the wrong number, right? WRONG! Stay clear of this unprofessional provider. Very scary when you are dealing with elderly people that depend on your service! YIKES! I have reported this to the VA, they need to vet their contracted providers better, clearly!
