Nicely laid out store with lots of product. But now one asked me if I need help or was looking for anything.

great selection, friendly staff. everytime I visit Ottawa I definitely stop in.

I love it here! I've been going to their heroclix and magic tourneys for years now. The staff are extremely nice, and they always have what you're looking for.

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Good stock of games, miniatures, statues and game cards.

Been a customer since the store opened almost 30 years ago. Great place with wonderful staff and tons of cool geek stuff. One of my favourite places on earth!

Interesting collection of merchandise get your inner nerd on.

A mixed experience with this store. In the past I found what I wanted, but on a recent visit it was not positive. About half a dozen staff doing inventory or something keeping them busy and cardboard boxes piled high in the centre. Perhaps they have a storage space problem or they are moving.

I circled the store twice looking for manga, found none and left. I know they used to have lots of manga, but this time, a disappointment.

I've been a regular customer at the Bank Street location since 2006. I've always had great service there and the staff members are friendly & helpful. If you walk in there and the store looks disorganized and in chaos, it is typically because you are catching them either preparing to attend or just coming back from running a booth at a convention where they bring a big chunk of their inventory for & display and selling. These guys love & know their stuff. I'm happy to support this local business every Wednesday for new comcis day!

Great service, and really good selection of manga and comic books. I typically find what I'm looking for, and then some when I'm there.

Only downside is that they've stopped stocking anime DVD'S for years, which if they did start restocking them, would easily make them 5 star worthy.

It's an OK store, but the older selection is pretty limited. That and I have never really forgotten when they sold me a broken statue and refused to refund even though I noticed and brought it back the same day

They should change the name of this place to the Pokemon card shop, because they don't give a damn about comics. Nothing has boards on it, everything just rolls around loose in their drawers taking damage, and then they complain back issues don't sell. The handful of collectible books that are up on the wall are priced like museum pieces: Wolverine 2 (regular series) $40, Amazing Spider-Man 299 $75, and so on. Today, I heard the store manager take a call, and turn down comics for sale without even asking what the guy had.

This place is very friendly staff are great with customer service, also if your into card games like magic the gathering or heroclix they place sometimes . This place is recommended for all your geek or need needs.

The staff is always super friendly and I enjoy making the trip to go there. A wide selection of comics and other stuff like board games, costumes and collectibles.

The team knows well in comics and can find a selection of comics that I had not even imagined.

Overall, this is a great little shop. It's really well diversified in terms of the stuff it carries (comics, manga, toys, costumes even). In terms of comics it's mostly focused on the mainstream, though it does have a section for local comics and the staff do a good job at creating sections that make selection easier for people who might not know what they're looking for. The staff were friendly and courteous, and all in all, it made for a good visit.

Items were slightly overpriced. Comics and most merch were pretty affordable, but things like board game and TCG were kind of expensive.

Comics, games, books, memorabilia, clothing and action figures. I'm sure I missed something but this is the best place in Ottawa to indulge in your pop culture hobbies. The staff is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Huge selection and if they don't have then they will order it for you. Just a wonderful place to hang out and take it easy. A Bank Street institution.
