This place is brilliant for kids. The cafe was fantastic and the kids enjoyed their food. There are outdoor and indoor play areas and of course the wonderful chocolate making room where children can have the pleasure of making there own chocolate creations whilst patents can watch all the fun. It's an easy place to get to with lots of parking and the staff were fantastic :)

Children loved it even on a wet day when we couldn't use the extensive outdoor facilities. A good 45 minutes was spent in the chocolate workshop and much more in the soft play. Staff were helpful and good cafe. Delicious chocolate too.

The outdoor play area is massive, with custom built pirate ship connected to a castle. There loads of nooks and crannies, and a maze inside the castle for the little ones to explore.
The indoor soft play is for under 5's and looks very good. The chocolate goods from the cafe are, unsurprisingly, delicious.

My little boy loved the experience. He got to make some chocolate treats and then take them home to enjoy.

It was really busy on the day of our visit with princess parties and soft play and chocolate workshops all being co-ordinated at the same time. There appeared to be enough staff to cope, and they were all really lovely and geared towards creating a fun experience for the children.

I didn t eat on site (I m on a diet) but when I got home after the weekend I had a meltdown day and tried the chocolate we d bought from the little onsite store, and it was AMAZING! So many flavours. Little parcels of delicious perfection.

Overall a great day out for kids

lovely place, but a bit misleading calling it a chocolate factory. you could go into a room for a chocolate experience for an extra price, but we chose not to. the place is actually a play center. and wow, it was amazing. indoors and out, we could have spent all day here.

Great place , lots to do and great food , our Grandchildren love to go when they are visiting . Entrance fee is very good , only have to pay for the children, which keeps the cost down . Facilities always very clean , the staff are very friendly too . Our Grandchildren haven`t done the chocolate workshop yet , as they are a bit young . I live in Twynholm and have noticed that they have now built a castle for the children , my wee visitors will be very excited at Easter .

We have been a few times now and it is a great place for a day out. They are really good with our daughter who is lactose intolerant and they can provide dairy free chocolate so dairy and lactose intolerant people don't miss out.

Wonderful place for children, lots to see and do inside and outside and a chocolate workshop for them to get involved in which includes a little bag of goodies made by themselves. Quite a good cafe reasonably priced as well. Also a shop filled with a vast choice of chocolates to buy.

Had my daughter here on more than once and she loves it. The chocolate making is the best part as they get to keep what they make, it's also fun to watch. Car park is big and has plenty of room to move around, with disabled parking bays at the main door which I use. The indoor soft play is big and keeps her happy for an hour or so, and the outside play area is fantastic and has plenty for all the family to do and have fun.

Great for kids especially working with chocolate and they also cater for children with disabilities, great indoor and outdoor play areas and a good choice of meals and ice cream well worth visiting

We visited the Dumfries branch and all I can say is please go. Don't charge for parents which is rare these days. The 16 pound entry gave our 4 yr old access to all the play areas and the chocolate workshop. We asked that they looked after her because she was nervous and the staff were amazing! We live in newcastle and would do the 3 hour drive just to go back! Fantastic and thank you all

This is a great place to visit with the kids. They hold make your own chocolate sweets. They hold events for each calendar season and holidays. They have a indoor soft play but there is a problem with adults taking the smaller kids round due to height restrictions. There is a under 4yrs area so not a big problem. The food is great. I have included some pictures if the food to help manage portions. There is also an outside area for the kids with a pirate's ship and castle. There is a massive slide but the path back up is loose and fairly steep. The pond out side could really do with some maintenance as it's over grown with algae. I never seen any fish in it so maybe with some maintenance they could stock some. Our experience was great so we will be back for sure.
