I was very disappointed in my stay at this particular Hyatt. One of the elevators was down the entire duration of my stay (9 days). This resulted in very long waits for the elevator and severe overcrowding during popular times. Also, they have no convenient stair access, so even though I was on the 2nd floor, I was forced to always use the elevator.

Second, there were multiple days that housekeeping did not even bother to show up to my room to tidy up, despite me never using a privacy sign and me always being out of the room by 7am every day.

Last, the most frustrating part, the housekeeping lost one of my possessions that I left on the bed. The hotel refused any responsibility and told me there is no proof and to call the police if I am not satisfied with their findings.

Hyatt has just lost a dedicated Rewards member. I will certainly take my business elsewhere for all future travels.

When in London, what better place to stay than the Churchill? Comfortable business level rooms, helpful staff and all the amenities. Good restaurants and bars in the hotel. Also a small shop in the lobby features classy Churchill souvenirs. A taste of London for your memory book.

I was honoured to be invited by a friend to have lunch at the Churchill's. Such an amazing athmosphere the staff was kind and very polite. Always smiling and very attentive. Keep up the good work as a business you will keep growing because your main focus from what I've seen it today was all about people. I give you 10+. Well done

My wife and I ate a delicious lunch here with visiting friends. Food was excellent, service very friendly and helpful, and the setting, inspired by the gardens of Churchill's house at Chartwell, was beautiful.

Gorgeous hotel with impeccable service in a centrally located place within walking distance to the Underground. Restaurants were top notch. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel.

We came here in July and stayed in King with upgrade to Regency Club & lounge access at 420 pounds per night. The hotel is located near Oxford Street. Staffs were friendly and service was good. 2 stars were deducted for old guest room and "very old" mattress which hurt my back a lot.

Wow, I just noticed other people had the same front-desk issues I had, lol.

I should ve known the stay would be less than pleasant after my first experience at check-in. At check-in, they told me my room wasn t ready. When I mentioned I have been calling since a month ahead to make sure my late arrival is fine, the receptionist cut me off and explained, Some of our guests book 3 days but only stay 2 days, they just want to make sure the room is ready when they arrive the second day. I don t care what some guests do. If I booked a room for 3 nights, it better be ready the first day, and especially if I called 5 hours before I arrived to tell you my flight has been delayed an hour. Either way, that response is really absurd. A proper response would be to apologize. He didn t even start with a sorry for his brash statement.

Next has been my struggle to respond to any of my clients while in my room. Even as I try to get on Google and Yelp to submit this review, it s been a hassle. I actually typed this all up in Word so the moment I have a connection again, I can paste and submit, lol.

My Wi-Fi continues to drop, and it usually drops for 2 minutes. Once it reconnects, it only maintains the connection for a few seconds at a time. I called and asked for an Ethernet cord, and they obliged, thank you. Sadly, the Ethernet port in the room is dead. They sent an IT gentlemen, but he discovered the port was not functional and confessed the Engineer is away, and would be back tomorrow. He then gave me the Access Code for their faster internet connection; premiere. Sadly, the problem isn t the speed, the problem is their wireless APs are either horribly positioned, my IP is stuck in the registration VLAN, or their back-end is not configured properly. (I work as a Level II Engineer for a large company as my career. The IT gent they sent was very pleasant by the way. He didn't try to bluff me at all while I played dumb watching him troubleshoot.)

Out of the 4 times I had to call concierge, I ve only been properly greeted once. The other times, the folks either forget to call me back with the results of my inquiry, or they answer with a slurred quick message with a slight chuckle at the beginning and someone else in the background, as if they were just conversing with a colleague. Hotels are a customer service industry, get a better composure if you're going to work here lad.

TL;DR: Wi-Fi connection sucks, dead Ethernet port, customer service at concierge/front-desk is atrocious for the most part, and I want to punch the chap who checked me in right in the jaw. (I am very sensitive about being mistreated so I may be a little bit emotional while typing this. I've always been discriminated against while traveling in luxury because of my age. I couldn't even find a real estate agent who would take me on tours because none of them thought someone my age should be taken seriously. Age shouldn't matter, if I am a client, treat me well.)

Located in a quiet area with shops and restaurants not too far off. I would love it if there was a nice Hyatt option a bit farther east, but this isn't a bad location. It's definitely the nicest Hyatt Regency I've stayed in, on par with Grand Hyatt quality. Room is reasonably sized but not massive. Bathroom is nice enough, with a really powerful shower. Only complaint is that there's really only a half shower door, so water gets everywhere. Bed is very comfortable. WiFi is fast. If you're looking for a Hyatt in London or a hotel in this neighborhood, this one's a good option.

I had a very short stay after my flight was cancelled. They were very helpful, providing a complimentary toothbrush and paste. The room was very comfortable and quite dark with the curtains shut. The shower was pleasant, with the head in the ceiling so I could stand fully upright under it. Multiple plug types so I didn't need an adapter. Convenient walking distance to many restaurants too.

This is either my third or fourth lengthy stay at the Churchill, on business, and the second stay since the extensive renovations. The staff is top-notch. This hotel is great. It is a must stay if you are in London and need to be close to the center. This hotel is not cheap, but the staff truly makes the experience wonderful! There are not enough compliments that I can pay this hotel and the staff! They made my stay so lovely! You must stay here!

This place I had high hopes for, but after visiting I will avoid at all costs. I initially came here for a nice cuban cigar and some paired scotch, as I was on a business trip.

The reviews I read were very positive, but the service I received left me disgusted, hurt & furious!!!

I am an average white guy, so it seems very obvious here unless you are of middle eastern decent you will not get any service. I watched on several occasions where I was left waiting after asking from something so they could tend to a guest who had arrived after me. I ordered drinks that never showed up, the staff actively ignored multiple requests for a lighter, and water. I had to stop people to get refills of scotch.

The level of discrimination and disrespect will prevent me from EVER SPENDING A DIME OF MY MONEY WITH THIS CHAIN AGAIN!!!!!

Excellent services. Stayed at the club level and breakfast buffet included was very tasty. Very quiet since on a one day street and a small park across the street. The tube was three short blocks away.

No one helps with luggage.

No one helps with luggage.
Small bathroom, like in a 4 star hotel (
The shower, which is called a tropical shower, barely sprinkles ...))
An eternal line in the restaurant for breakfast.
You order scrambled eggs and sweet waffles, first bring waffles)))
The entrance near the entrance is always clogged with parked cars, so go take a taxi to the street ...
In the bar, Churchill, all the tables are usually booked for the evening.
The staff is not trying to resolve the issue, but is looking for someone who is responsible for a particular question ...
Probably the worst Hyatt in the world! (

Only stay here if you're a business traveler or aristocrat. Greeted warmly whenever in professional clothing; however, when I was not in business clothing and dressed smart casual, I was the only guest being asked by numerous employees if I was in the correct hotel; and when getting breakfast, or coffee in the lobby, I was repeatedly asked by employees to confirm my room number and surname. Thomas at the front desk was the sole bright spot in this regard. To be sure, the employees were very kind and professional while investigating whether I belonged in the hotel, but the repeated inquiries were exhausting. Everything from the hallways can be heard in your room. The location is great, but this hotel is incredibly overrated.

Although, we waited for two hours for the room. The place is lovely, clean and cosy. The cleaner forgot to refill the body soap but one of the staff asked me if I need anything, so I told them I need a body soap and then they provide us with loads of Molton brown soap which is great. Highly recommended.
