Smelly rooms, maybe because of old ac vents. And not well maintained

the worst hotel in dinner &lunch, regarding that i want mutton curry provide in BEEF curry. again request for fish vanchiram provide in cross in vanchiram[katta meen].

Very badly maintained old hotels. Rooms stinks. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here even for a night.

I attend a banquet dinner in this place and did not like it. There is a saying, facility and food needs to be good of else the experience leaves a bad after taste, to which people do not return to.

The bathroom was unpleasant and had a foul smell. The urinals and wash basin seemed to be a shabby and make shift job.

The food, Vegetable Briyani, Soyabean balls and mutton is it the same price? On looking at the veg. Briyani, everyone got the same impression. The service staff did not understand what he was doing. Half of the Cheffain dishes had no fuel below it due to which food was turning cold and other half, was on excess. People forgot to stir the food as a result burnt food was served. Also can someone explain to me how to pick up papad from a dish using a soup ladle?

The dessert, the julab jamoon was bad, if you see the sugar syrup 15 min after it cools down, it is ot a please sight. The ice cream was good pretty sure it was brought. Also, lack of teaspoon.

Poor room service. Food was even worse for such a big deal. Room had no proper lightings. Not worth so much of money!

The location and the entrance is only good but when we enter the hotel room it is so third rated it's like we are living in a Dharamshala they have cockroaches, the chair is Broken, the cup are broken, and there is no cleaniness in the room the smell is wierd, and the carperts are not cleaned at all and the extra bed is there on the floor. moreover they don't care when we complain they came and fight back instead of taking care of the complaint.

located near little mount station. Attended a day seminar. Ambience appears to be good but not sure about rooms, parking and service.

Old hotel. The rooms are just ok. The wardrobes etc needs a lot of rework. The bathrooms are dark and the fittings are not proper. The style is old tamil movie type hotel. The chandelier, chairs etc are old type. The bar is like old tamil movie type. The staff is very helpful and good. That makes a huge difference. The restaurant is great. Dinner was awesome and the morning breakfast was ok. Overall, if there is a good overhaul, this can be an excellent restaurant

Good place for small functions with enough accommodation

Bathroom water connection were old & water leakage from it

It is good place to visit .. when you are new to Chennai.. a quite good staff which makes your stay super rocking.

Pathetic service

Rooms were stinking. Hence we changed our rooms. However, we were offered rooms which were unfinished i.e. doors of cupboard unavailable. No soaps, coffee makers, towel, etc. Which are basic amentities in deluxe rooms were not provided. Also there is no hot water 24x7. If the hotel is charging for deluxe rooms at least basis amenities should be provided. Further, the rooms were filled with mosquitoes and when we pointed it was refuse by the staff and after giving proof thereof we got the repellent.

Worst part was no coordination between restaurant staff and manager. Whatever was ordered by us we were informed is either unavailable and only have to hear regret. If certain food is unavailable prior to taking order why can't it be checked by the staff?

Food was good but rated one star as the AC was not working when I had visited them and stayed the night. They first sent a person to the room to check but he couldn't rectify then they shifted me to other room there also the same problem.They justified by saying that sonce its centrally airconditioned thats why all centrally airconditioned rooms have the same problem(as if this is the first hotel I have stayed with centrally air conditioned rooms.....).The room temeperature was about 28-30 degrees with high humidity and no ventilation. The room was stuffy since ac not working and had a very dreadful night there. The ambiance is good though and the rooms neat and clean.

Worst hotel I have ever seen in Chennai, only reason I would be here is it when there is no other go for refreshment

Looks cool from out side, but one of the worst service, no Wi-Fi, food was pathetic, rooms were stinking , restrooms were dirty, old towels and dirty linens, taps were leaking, water colour was dark yellow, not even worth for a single star, it was night mare I checked out the same day,

Nice hotel with excellent infrastructure and this easily accessible from road

Its a decent hotel but probably renovation is long overdue. Good and friendly staff who really care for their guests and the whole experience. Centrally located to everything with ample car and 2 wheeler parking space. Banquet hall can accommodate 250 people.

Good property Badly maintained. Please train your staffs well to handle customers.

And for the food you serve and the cost you put for that is stupid.

It's not the old charm now. Reason they say renovation.

The worst cafe I ever seen, there was only one person there on counter and the same guy came to my table to took order and same guy served the food and i believed he cooked his self .

Good hotel, but lot of mosquito's in the rooms. Management is knew about the situation. But they didn't respond quickly.

We attended marriage reception few days back. The function hall was at the basement. The ambiance was neat and well maintained. Has adequate facilities to play music etc. The food served was OK and staff were friendly. The hotel has adequate parking facilities and centrally located. The reception area is grand.

Rooms are ok. Smells smokey not fresh.should be maintained well.

We enjoyed there with our family They r treating us really well and its a place to njoy

Front office staffs are rude and unprofessional.

Being in hospitality industry they should be trained to handle basic customer queries in a highly professional manner.

Meadows Hall is very good for small conference and meetups of 50 to 60 headcount. Hall is very elegant and staff are very helpful. I recommend this hall for meetups and small parties.
