Lots of novelty candies and a great taffy selection

Oh yeah, this place rocked and they even had sugar free candy

Very disappointed with our taffy. We spent $25 on candy and got home to eat it and it's all old tasting or hard and breaking apart. I think I got a few that were ok. Really wish it was soft and chewy.

This place has a fun selection of candy. I'm big on thr salt water taffy.
The staff was so nice and friendly, not sure why the bad reviews on that.
They have a decent selection. A first feel, they felt pretty hard but still bought some to try. So glad I did!! It was so amazing! All thr ones we picked had amazing flavor. Also noticed it was so soft and sticky. Im heading back there tomorrow to get more before I leave town it was that good.

Sea of sweets! We arrived at a time when it was possible to taste sweets with blue price tags for free. :) Children will like it!

Wow... Who works at a candy store and doesn't like candy?? Went in with the FAM bam... Who traveled in from Los Angeles... I sampled 2.... My fault for assuming more than 1 sample. An employee approached me, with attitude, said she just charged the customer ahead of us since they samled more than 1... I thought, fine... please charge me the 18cents for the additional sample then.. I asked the employee which taffy was a best seller. The response is almost laughable..."I don't know...I don't even like candy". No help whatsoever. Employee could have recommended just about anything... Instead she she gave the lamest response ever heard in a candy store. Lol. What a lame employee. Poor customer service represented from Sac town... How embarrassing. Can't sample more than 1, yet can't give a personal opinion on which to buy. LAME!

The taffy is a little stale. After the first stale piece i thought okay maybe just that one was old.. No, they all were . I've never experienced that before but still good selection. I love the weird flavors you can find. I still ate it all!

Kory and I both agree this is 5 stars. NEVER ENOUGH TAFFY IN YOUR LIFE! THANKS CANDY BARREL

Unfriendly staff. We were short by a penny and the woman wouldn't budge about it. We paid it in full. But wouldn't recommend this overpriced store. There's better candy store in old town.

super fun time to visit with in-laws and children. Loads and loads of old time taffy, the sheer spectacle of so much candy has the kids in pure excitement.

Assortments of taffy, gummies, and more. Mostly sugar candies. While there are some chocolate And baked goods, it s not the main attraction.
