Cool little place to get a coffee if you love cats. Not the fanciest barista around but certainly a unique place. My girlfriend and my son loved it, they probably could have stayed all day. There is an entrance fee but it's not unreasonable, just think of it as a donation. Fun place to spend an hour

There is a cover fee of about $8, but it's well worth it! The cover fee (presumably) goes towards paying the staff and taking care of the cats, so even if you don't adopt a cat you're still helping them. I wanted to take home all the cats; they were all very sweet and well behaved.

This place is amazing and inspired me to open my own cat cafe in New York. The cats were great, the space was perfect, the merch was super cute. I ve had my cafe now for a year and get the same types of reviews re entrance fee, children, food options, cranky cats. It s all about the cats and socializing them, relaxing with a coffee and petting a few amazing kitties. I m so into it. I loved my experience there a couple years back. I wish I lived closer! Keep up the great work!!

I love this place! Other than being a rad company offering a unique adoption process for cats, the staff is super friendly and dedicated to the mission. They are very informative and intentive to guests' questions and needs. They keep the place clean and the best time to come is right when they open in am hours. All cats are awake around that time.

There are rules, follow them. They are on the big board up front. If you bring children, don't let them run and go crazy. It disturbs the people and the cats.

If you are not wanting to adopt, there are other reasons to want to visit this place. The wi-fi is good and the monthly/annual membership is well-priced. Great place to bring your headphone and work for the day while enjoying some cat company. Doesn't get as crowded as the some of the coffee shops around town and has lots of comfortable seating and outlets.

I work here on my less busy days knowing I am going to get distracted by wanting to play with kitties. Fridays and weekends are busy. I suggest weekday visits.

Love the concept and the set-up but the employee was extremely rude to children. I understand that its not a playground, but when children are laughing happily - is that really unwanted noise?

I liked this place. the cats arent all that friendly, and some somewhat abrasive even if you're cautious (watch out kids!). They are all cats that used to be strays, and this place is more of a foster home than a cafe. I wouldnt suggest bringing your kids either unless they are able to be calm, because it scares the cats.

Not sure how to word this revue, as maybe it's a challenge to my cat nature, there was some snifty ffffty almost feline kind of finiky challenge to me bringing a three year old to the premises. The mood is calm, and relaxing here, so a kids enthusiasm was met with the kind of expression that would make one think I punished the clerk with a cold water filled squirt gun. She seemed to make up a rule on the spot that we couldn't stay more than an hour, after we paid ten bucks each to forget about time for a little. I urge that they put this in writing. This kind of ruined the mood, people weren't allowed to have as much fun as the kittens were. Other than the professionalism issue, the chance of rain didn't stopp the sleepy parade of furry purrs and feather fetching follies. Seemed toake the day of all the other patrons.

I have too many good things to say about this place! It s cozy and fun to just hang out and read or study and do homework. The staff so clearly care about each cat that they re hosting and are always knowledgeable about them and their personalities. Love this place and hope to adopt from them soon!

After having lost my best friend of almost 18 years, I needed feline company again, but was in a position not to yet have another kitty. This cafe soothed my soul and it was hard to keep from crying in front of everyone, because of all the kitty love and nice people who also love kitties. I hope that all made sense. It is a comfortable space that just plain feels good. The cover charge is nothing compared to the pleasure and calm you will receive in return.

I loved coming here! They have coffee, like every place should, but in addition... Cats. Infinite cats. They're friendly and used to people. I appreciated also how the environment is set up to be comfortable for them as well as for people - you are visiting the cats in their home. Also a great place to borrow a book and read something interesting - they have a great selection in the back.

Cute decor! Wonderful cats! The mission behind this place is wonderful. It was great to see that almost all the cats that day had applications for adoption.
I wish I could give it 5 stars for just the mission but I was a little disappointed and considered my $20 a charitable donation to a good cause. I was disappointed in the lack of options of just coffee or Coco. I was expecting to get more to drink while I was there. If you bring anyone UNDER 10 MAKE SURE YOU READ the website before. I was a little surprised about the rule of "We limit kids under 10 years old to visits of no more than an hour." I understand holding the right to make a judgement call for the safety of an animal or a child, but most of these rules are common sense and could apply to anyone who might be disrespectful. Why the need to print out rules for just parents and assign us a limit. I don't think any parent would think of this place as a free for all for their child and have no regard for the cats.

Denver Cat Company is by far the best cat cafe around. The atmosphere they create is amazing, and I have found that they are less restrictive than other cat cafes I have visited. They have made some adjustments to help keep everyone safe during COVID-19, but the heart and soul of the cafe remains the same. They do a wonderful service to our community, and are simply a nice place to spend some quality time with human and cat friends alike. Sit back and read a book, play a board game, or just pet some kitties - it's the place to be!

This is the fourth cat cafe I have been to and I think I have found my favorite. The model of unlimited time for x amount of dollars is really cool if you want to study, want lots of kitty time, or just want to chill. All the cats when I went were well behaved and playful with each other and with people. I would highly recommend to every feline lover and cat appreciator if you are in the area! P.S. I love their gift selection as well!

Brought a friend visiting from out of town and we were both so glad we came. There are anywhere from 12-15 cats/kitties/floofers at a time, ready to play and cuddle! I got a surprising amount of work done, considering all of the adorable felines searching for attention. Whether you're looking for a place to relax and read or a place to get your cute fix, Denver Cat Company is an incredibly friendly and welcoming environment.

We are cat lovers and had never checked out a cat cafe before, so we thought we'd visit this one when we were in the area. It was fun getting to meet the cats and having them get comfortable with us. We stayed for about an hour and enjoyed some hot drinks while visiting with the cats. If we didn't already have a bunch of pets, we probably would have gone home with one or two cats. We all agreed that visiting a cat cafe is a great way to get to know a cat before adopting it.

I wanted to like this cat cafe as I've been to several others, but they still had me pay close to full price even though they were less than an hour from closing and there was a group of young girls in there chasing - literally - the cats around.

Share a coffee or tea with a group of adoptable cats, find a piece of cat merchandise to suit your inner cat lady, maybe meet an adorable companion and make a commitment. Either way, you support the cats and the business, and it's a great time.

This place is awesome. I am glad we finally got a cat cafe in Denver! Very chill atmosphere with lots of cats. Worth the $5 cover charge to check it out. I talked the owner and she was so nice. They also had lots of cute cat merchandise for sale. If you like cats, go check it out!

For an $8 fee per person (might vary for elderly) you support a place that adopts out cats while they still have a good home to hang out and have food and shelter in the meantime. My understanding is the cats are already spayed/neutered and even chipped. This is a great place. Pet some kitties, maybe adopt if you're able, either way they're not in a cage and are happy and healthy

We wanted to check out the place where our cat was given refuge. Sana works with shelters who don't have a space per se and rely on homes (for fostering). However, if you don't see the cats it is hard to imagine them in your home. Denver Cat Company provides a home view of cats and kittens. We went and enjoyed some pistachios and La Croix soft drinks and read. We also got to play with 16 cats in a hip coffee house. Smiles were everywhere. Please visit the Denver Cat Company and have a cup of coffee which supports these kitties

Amazing place to spend some time relaxing with the cats. The owner is awesome and really takes care of the guests.

Times to go vary on what you plan to do. Weekends the cats are up but get a lot of attention, hence you likely won't get alot of cat personal time. Weekdays the cats are up and active 10-1 then sleep until 5 and get active again. A good time to have them relax with you while you read or do some work.

Drinks, coffee, and snacks are available along with some books in the back. Downpour coffee is close by if you want the best latte ever.

Such a fun place!! I love how different it is from every other place in Denver. It's coffee and some entertainment (cats). It's also very calm and relaxing during the middle of the day when it's not busy. Everyone's gotta try this place at least once.

A beautiful cozy Cafe with cats and coffee. Most of the cats are friendly and sociable! A few might be tired of social interaction and want to chill. Coffee was great, and the layout is cozy. You can easily find a spot to relax and maybe spend some time with a cute critter. Compared to many adoption locations, the price is lower ($75) to adopt. All the cats were chipped and neutered or spayed. Memberships are reasonable priced too!

Super relaxing atmosphere. Kitties are very chill. Cafe pretty much only has drinks, but I think it's a health code thing. Plenty of other food options right in the area, though. Cats might follow you into the bathroom when you go and stare at you cause... Well, that's what cats do. Has a small $5 cover charge. You can paint your own kitty for $15. Seems therapeutic. Also, most of the artwork looked like it was for sale. Had boardgames to play. Basically a place to just come and relax. Most of the kitties are up for adoption, also.

The owner is friendly and clearly passionate about cats. The environment is relaxed & the cats love to interact with visitors. We also participated in the open studio painting, which was a lot of fun. If I lived nearby, I could see myself visiting frequently to read and relax.

We were visiting Denver, and just stumbled upon Denver Cat Company. The coffee was tasty, and it was fun to play while we waited for a lunch order. It was great to see the kitties were going to homes soon! The establishment was clean, and it was clear the cats were well cared for, and they were taking all safty precautions seriously. We plan to visit again next time we're in Denver!

I really really wanted to love this place! I wholeheartedly support their mission and was happy to pay $10 to help cats get adopted. But the actual experience in the cafe was . . . not great. The cafe was packed particularly with children who were running and screaming. Granted, it was a Saturday, but I came right at 10am like their website says to hopefully avoid the rush. No luck. No staff members were enforcing the rules designed to ensure that children behaved themselves. The cats themselves were lovely and sweet. But the loud atmosphere of the cafe really diminished the quality of my visit. If you go and you want a chill time with some cats, plan to hang out in the front room near the window. That s where the least chaos is. Maybe someday I ll come back on a weekday to see if my experience is better. But, suffice to say, I was quite disappointed with my visit here.

We can't have cats where we live now, so we decided to get our fix here. It is the cutest little place. There are books and board games available while you're there. And the cats are super cute (duh!). They also have tea, coffee, and snacks. And there's a cute little shop at the front that any cat lover would adore. Definitely check it out. It's amazing. Can't wait til we get a cat of our own. Til then, the cat cafe is the perfect place to get our cat time in.

Hanging out with the cats was theraputic for me (I'd just had surgery) and good socializing for them. I wish I could adopt one! But I can happily pay for a visit. For some reason I was expecting a slightly larger variety of snacks, but that's okay. We enjoyed our coffee and kittie time!
