Heaven on earth! We went today and there were probably a dozen kittens :) They are taking COVID risks seriously and require masks and have you use hand sanitizer when you enter. There were 8 patrons in the cafe, reservations only. Each session is 50 minutes right now. Would happily go again and again!
What a wonderful place. I visited a while ago and I'm just getting around to reviewing, but I'll never forget it. They had this sweet little orange and white kitten when I went named Bert and he reminded me so much of my late cat Sam that i just sat there and petted him for nearly my entire visit, trying not to cry. Sam passed away while I was at college, and I didnt get to say goodbye. But I could see him in this sweet little guy and it helped like you wouldn't believe. Never underestimate how good cats are for your soul. If you're not allergic, and you know how to treat cats with care and respect, I wholeheartedly recommend you come here. It's so healing, seriously.
Nice place to relax and read or maybe study. Very limited food and drink options but aren't we all here for the cats anyway? Cute cat themed merchandise also
I so enjoyed this precious and fun place! All proceeds go to the shelter so how can you go wrong. It's a great place to help get cats socialize before going to a forever home. I wish that I didn't live so far away because I would volunteer at this wonderful place. They are only serving drinks just now because of Covid-19 and reservations are recommend. They have very unique gifts for the kitty lover. So help them out spend some time and funds, you'll feel great for helping a homeless kitty!
First time visiting and was a great experience! Adorable decor along with the cute merch they sell. All the cats are so sweet and can be adopted!
The drink options are pretty limited and people hoard the few cats that aren't exhausted; perhaps consider coming early. It's a place about cats, so if you're looking for an elaborate coffee there are better places for that .
Delightful venue to visit with kitties in need of forever homes. Sometimes busy and relatively loud with high-energy kids, other times pretty tame and relaxing. Useful photos w/cat personality descriptions. Friendly, helpful, dedicated staff. Great way to see cats' personalities - how they interact with each other, with kids, with potential new guardian(s). In several visits, have seen adopters make follow-up visit to confirm compatibility before committing. Happy to see so many successful adoptions. Nice vibe, fun cat art and books to peruse, good choice of refreshments.
Too many people, too few cats. And be warned- they charge $7 per person to enter. Cats are super grumpy and exhausted by all of the people. However, the people watching is fantastic. Coffee and pastries....packaged honeybuns and weak coffee. Save yourself money and time- pickup Starbucks and head to your local shelter.
The Denver Cat Company is a laid-back shop with coffee and other drinks available for your enjoyment while you hang out with a bunch of sweet, rescue cats. Like most cat cafes, there is a small entrance fee that goes to supporting the cats and the shop.All of their cats are adoptable. It's a great way to get to know a cat before taking it home. You can also read a book (they have quite a collection available) or play a game with friends during your visit. They have a few board games available. There are also novelty and souvenir items you can buy. For the ultimate relaxing afternoon, you can pay for supplies to paint a picture with the cats.
Brought my daughter here for our first visit. So sweet, and therapeutic!!! Cozy little cafe with the sweetest kitties :) Best part... you can adopt them <3
If you like cats just a little you will love this place. Relaxing atmosphere. If you are sketching, reading or on your phone. Cats will be cats and will make sure attention is on them so don't be suprised if they jump on the table to interrupt up you.
This place is fantastic. Pay your entry fee (which helps care for and place amazing cats) and go hang out with some felines. Drinks are available for purchase as well.
Wonderful quaint space to interact with kittens and cats. Loved the atmosphere and small shop.
