Nice place to play board games while cats ignore you. If you want to know what it's like to own a cat, this is your place. Not the cat's fault, or a negative. When one does grace your lap, feel honored. And adopt one if you can!

Other than some kids (and adults) harassing the cats (not the companies fault) and some lady loudly complaining about her life, this place was an absolute joy! The cocoa was delicious and if you sit still and dont chase the cats, they come to you. The entrance fee wasnt a lot. The cats will let you know if they dont want to be touched anymore so dont complain if your kid gets scratched for petting one of the cats too hard.

The Denver Cat Company is a clean and relaxing cafe with several adoptable cats roaming around. Despite the abundance of animals, the space is very well-kept and there is no cat odor. I have allergies to cats, but I don t have an issue at the cafe because it is so clean. The cafe is filled with bookshelves, tables, and comfy chairs. I am a college student and I find the cozy atmosphere very conducive to studying. Even if you are not a big fan of cats, I urge you to check it out. You may find yourself less stressed after spending some time around animals.

I've been to this cat cafe twice now, both experiences were fun. The staff were very nice. This place is perfect for anyone who loves cats. Nice chill atmosphere, there's enough room to sit on the couch or sit at a table to study or do some art projects.

This place is nothing short of incredible! We adopted our cat, Marceline (Kylie at the time of adoption), and we couldn't be happier with our fur baby! Staff here is always welcoming and happy to answer any questions about the kitties.
If you're a cat person and ever having a bad day, do yourself a favor and pay this magical place a visit!

If you travel a lot for work and can't have a pet or just want to pet a cat, this is the place to go. Beware of the kittens, if you are lucky to hold one it will be hard to return them. These cats are all up for adoption.

This is the greatest place I've been to and I usually don't like cats but, this is a good experience to have, you pay to just sit with cats that are the cutest things ever. And the hot chocolate is really good! This place is amazing I would recommend if you like or dislike cats cuz the experience is just great!

I had a blast here on vacation. I got to pet the cats and have lots of fun with the kitties. While I didn't order a beverage, that was available for a small extra fee aside from the fee to see the kitties.

So cute and kitschy. I wished the people who were there would share the cats though. I wasn't sure if they were employees /volunteers or other customers, but the point is to get the cats adopted... If I can't pet or touch any of the cats because they're sprawled on your lap for hours, how can I adopt it if I would have to literally steal it from you? That would feel cruel...

Love this place, love the staff and the vibe and the goodies, and I love that there is a place like this in Denver that allows us to spend time with cats that are adoptable. Please support this place and visit so that they are still there after covid!!

My boyfriend and I drove all the way from Oklahoma to come here, and we didn't get the chance to. The website said trust google hours, so we did. It also said that closer to closing is when it's slower. We decided to go at seven since google said they closed at 8 on sundays. Well turns out they closed at seven. I don't know how to properly give a review since we didn't get the chance to go in, I'm just hoping the owner sees this.

OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD!!! Apologies for the capitalization, but I had to. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Went here on very dreary Tuesday, when I was feeling very homesick, and very close to crying. My husband surprised me with a trip here (since I had wanted 'all the cats'). All the kitties that they had were babies, and VERY playful, and thankfully the kittens did not care that we were wearing half face respirators and looked like budget Bane(s).

I think I had at least 3 or 4 kittens playing with my shoelaces (yay), and even the restroom kitty was very adorable. I had my 3 year toddler with me, who is pretty rambunctious, though his overenthusiastic displays of 'hi kitty' made a few kittens a bit skittish, one mustachioed little kitty made friends with and snuggled with him as long he petted her and they watched videos together.

I love the appointment system that they have initiated for COVID, and it basically gives you and your family one on one time with the adorable felines. We got close to an hour (50 ish minutes). Obviously, I would've loved to stay longer, but it's not possible at the moment because of a freaking pandemic. The only disadvantage of us visiting this wonderful place was how betrayed our own kitties felt when we returned home. Don't worry though, they got plenty of pets, and treats, and I think that we have been forgiven.

If y'all can visit, and have the resources to adopt a kitty, please visit this amazing place!

The owner is less to be desired. I wanted to bring over some of our special needs kids to enjoy the cafe and play with the cats. Her attitude toward kids with disables was awful. She said they have a high liability with kids and did not want us to come. She said she did not think this was a good activity for special needs Terrible woman. WE know our population and would not bring over inappropriate students.. I can't support a business that is discriminatory with people who have disabilities.

I was at the cat cafe yesterday. I loved being served by the owner, who managed to do it without disturbing the sleeping cat in her lap (although she had to get up later to serve coffee to customers). She could give me great information about the background of each cat there, their personalities and peculiarities and how they interacted with people or other cats. The place was well laid out - not too cluttered but full of toys. The interactions between the new and established cats were appropriately supervised. I am going to their Wish List this morning and buying a few things to help them along. :)

I have never adopted a cat from here but I love to come for the sole purpose of hanging out and seeing the cats. They are doing a great thing here by finding homes for these cats in an atmosphere where people can truly get to know the cats they are adopting. Thank you for giving our community an awesome opportunity to meet cats or even just hang out with some cats if your unable to adopt! I bring everyone who visits me from out of town here to share the joy! :)

We adore the Denver Cat Company. The staff is kind and helpful - both with purchases and providing tips on how to engage with the cats. It s such a lovely cafe that does great work getting cats into loving homes. My only wish is that it was closer to my house so we could go more often. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a cup of coffee while catching up on email and watching some cat antics - this is the place for you.

Very hard to not walk out of here without a cat. All of their cats are very friendly and playful. Its completely worth the price to hang out with some kitty's. This one wanted to go home with me, but was already adopted. :(

NEVER visit this place, Myself, my friend and my 2 year old son have never been treated so badly in our lives. The owner, Ms Sana Hamelin is a LIAR and a THIEF.
I've visited this place before and had an ok experience but I have to update my review. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE PERIOD.
I was there on a Monday morning with my friend and 2 year old son. We have 2 cats at home, he loves cats and is very gentle with them. I brought in 2 cars for him and his friend to play with. They were pushing the cars on the ground and the cats were even chasing the cars and interacting with the boys; I have pictures to prove this.
Then the owner of the store, Ms Sana Hamelin changed my opinion forever about this place. Ms Hamelin got up, went to the restroom and on the way she forcibly stole the car out of my 2 year olds hand, and disappeared into the restroom. My friend witnessed this and my son came over and said "lady took car from me, she's mean" and started crying. My friend reaffirmed what she had seen, we just couldn't believe it. We tried to give Ms Hamelin a chance to explain, instead she came out of the restroom, my son pointed at her and I said is this the lady who took your car? She then exited out the back door! We stayed in the store, and about 10 minutes later she came back in through the front door. She then spoke to another customer, we politely waited whilst my son is still distressed about his car, he can't understand why some strange lady would wrestle it out of his hand!!!! When Ms Hamelin has finished with the customer, my friend asks her if she's seen the car, Ms Hamelin replied "No, it must have gone underneath one of the sofas or something" my friend said, "well here's the thing, we've looked under the sofas and anyway it's not there because I saw you take it out of the little boys hand and proceed to the restroom" Ms Hamelin then said, "well yes I did take it from him and threw it in the trash!!!!" She said it was because he was being loud, which wasn't even true, but if it was all she had to do was tell me and I would have asked him to play quieter.
We just couldn't believe it, not only did she lie several times but she stole something from my son and only when we told her we had seen her did she confess. She went to the restroom and retrieved the car from the trash. I told her we would NEVER come here again, the owner of this establishment LIES and STEALS from her customers. Neither myself or my friend have ever had an experience like this before. THIS WOMAN IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. She is a thief and liar and I also want to point out she never interacted with the cats once whilst we were there unlike previous times I've visited where the staff play with the cats. If this is how she treats her customers and a 2 year old boy I dread to think how she treats the cats. I feel sorry they are in her care.

I've been here multiple times and always enjoy my visit. I love supporting this business and the cats because it is such an adorable place to spend time at. I love petting the cats and even the fact that people can adopt the cats is amazing. It's a relaxing calm environment and it's in a very nice location. I've reccomend this place so much simply because it's such a nice place to visit

My kids love this place, worth the entry fee! Pay some money and get to hang out with a room full of cool cats that are up for adoption. There are bottled drinks and gifts and whatnot you can purchase. But the real lure here is the cats! They have regular cats, fat cats, young cats, sleepy cats, playful cats, etc. Appears this is the only version of this in the state, not even Boulder has one... so you best visit.

This is one of my favorite places in Denver! The cats are absolutely adorable and they don't charge by the hour. It is warm, fun, and an awesome way to spend a day, sipping a cup of coffee and petting cats.

We have been here a couple of times and we love it! It s a storefront that basically takes in cats/kittens that are in animal shelters and gives them a temporary home, the cats are adoptable, plus they get to roam around or just lay down, there is an entry fee in order to help pay for the expenses of the cats, military and students with their ID can get in for $8 and others I believe is $10. There are rules and kids are welcome but it s not recommended because of how loud and fast they are. You can pick up the cats but children aren t allowed to. They also serve coffee and tea and other snacks, there s tables and wifi, the cats all get along (that we ve seen) and there was only one cat amongst both experiences that was a little aggressive towards us. They have plenty of cat goodies for those at home and lots of cat themed gifts. (totes, mugs, mints, stickers, cards) They have toys out that you can play with the cats, there are a couple stairs that separate the front lobby portion to the cafe part.

A couple kits are grumpy, but being touched all day in a crowded room is stressful. But the atmosphere is lovely and sweet. Not fully accessible to disabled, but we made it work. I will recommend to family and such.

Please don't hesitate to visit Denver Cat Company even during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are open with reserved attendance slots to limit the number of visitors. Cats are a great stress relief during this time and will happily play with you and take any affection directed their way. Adoption applications are still accepted and the staff are there to help these cats find their forever homes.

I adopted my cat here over a year ago and it was such a wonderful process. First, it s just great to go into the cafe and hang with the kitties. They staff does a wonderful job of providing them with a clean, happy and healthy home. I found a sweet girl kitty I wanted to adopt and they were very helpful guiding me through the process since I was adopting from a specific rescue (the cat cafe was fostering the cat).
This place is a gem and I m so glad to go have found my furrrever friend here. Check them out - even just to visit, or adopt, I can t say enough great things.

So nice to meet kitties in this environment. Good staff that know the personalities and quirks of each kitty. When we are ready to adopt we will return. And in the meantime, I may keep stopping by for cat love.

I came by sometime last year with my best friend and it was one of the most amazing experiences. All of the cats were lovely, even the mean one who scratched my friend (we were warned, and she is proud of her efforts anyway). One of the kittens fell asleep on my lap and made us stay till almost close. The staff was friendly and we even had friendly conversations with some customers from out of state. So it was no hesitation to suggest that we bring my friend from Scotland to the cafe today. Next time I come I'm adopting!

A pretty cool concept. There is minimal choice of drinks but you probably go there to hang out with cats more than to have your cup of joe. Cats are laidback and most of them let you pet them. Cats are awesome but you already know that. Great spot to destress.
