My wife and I just went to dinner there with another couple this past Saturday. It was on my list of places to try and I was excited to go. We first went to the bar and had a couple of drinks. They have all of your typical St. Louis craft beers that I think every bar and restaurant in St. Louis is now required to have these days. It's not a bad thing, but would it kill these places to put at least one domestic beer on draft. Sometimes, I would like a Miller Lite on draft...does that make me a criminal?, but I digress. They did have Busch beer in a can..nice. I did have a few of those. We sat down for dinner and had a really pleasant waitress give us the low down on the family and how everything is prepared. It was very impressive how many things were made from scratch. We stated as an appetizer with the Bacon Fat Fries...uhmmm...delicious. It was definitely a hit at the table. We then ordered entrees. My wife and I split the Duck Fried Rice, which was a duck quarter over fried rice which had more duck and I think ham. It also had a bit of a spicy sauce that I really liked, but my wife thought was a little overpowering. But what does she know, she ordered a duck dish and only ate the rice and not the duck. Come on. The duck was fantastic, it had tons of flavor. I also ordered as a side, the deviled egg potato salad...it was good. I wish the potato was cut a bit smaller, but that's just personal preference. We also had the artichoke dip. That did not go over as well. Not sure why, I thought it was ok, the rest of the table did not agree. Overall, I think the table would agree that the food was really good and the service was top-notch. We all had a really nice dining experience and agreed we would definitely go back again. I would love to try their burger next time. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for more of an upscale, yet casual dining experience that adds a little bit of flair to everyday foods.

Hip Maplewood spot at Manchester & Sutton. Eclectic menu, tasty food, comfortable atmosphere, attentive sevice. Nice place to eat before, during or after browsing the many shops in the neighborhood.

The food was really good and they have a great drink selection. We arrived juuuust before the dinner rush, so things got understandably busy. I gave it one less star because it really took a very long time for our food to come out. Would totally go back during quieter hours!!

I went with one of there burgers which was very good. This place has a very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. The blue duck has full parking around back and you can also park at the shopping plaza across the street. The local neighborhood is very trendy and has lots of small pubs with local beer and spirits.

We sat in the parking lot and felt like we had been forgot about. Wrong drinks were brought out to us. Twice. Before ordering I stated that i didn't do well with spice. I ended up ordering the b&g and couldn't even it it. Will never go back

Absolutely delicious and a great meal size for someone that hasn't eaten all day. I got the Sam Elliott Burger, paired with the breakfast potatoes and some local beer, it was more than enough for $20. Service was sweet and super personable, food came out hot in a reasonable amount of time, great beer selection, house-made ketchup + quality ingredients, I'll definitely be going here again.

Had the Hood Boy sandwich - it was excellent! A luxury poor boy, it's made with 6 (I think) meats! Very impressed by the selection of top-shelf liquors - gin seems to be a particular favourite.

Such a cute little gem in maplewood. I love this place for lunch or dinner. Great cocktail selections. Must try their fried pork belly if you like pork belly. Good for take outs, but must try dine in for cocktails!

Delicious dishes! The cinnamon roll French toast was rich and delicious. The pork belly eggs Benedict was good, but not as flavorful as I expected. I did order it without bbq sauce, though. The fried chicken eggs Benedict was really tasty. My husband ordered the aviator drink and I ordered the toasty cheeks. The alcohol content was good, but some of the flavors were a little too strong. The aviator was too tart and toasty cheeks was supposed to be tropical, but it was a little too strong on the tropical flavors. The flavors of the drinks could have been more balanced. We took home the smoked pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. It tasted exactly like its name sounds. It was really good, but I would not recommend taking it home because some of the toppings didn't hold up.

Was very excited to be trying this place for brunch but unfortunately very disappointed!! We had a reservation n got seated right away but then took 25 min to get greeted n that was aftr our server greated the table that had gotten there just a min b4 he greeted them. My friend ordered her drink and I wanted to taste a couple beers after about 10 minutes of waiting for my samples he came back and they were warm and she didn't get her drink and then we ordered our drinks and was told that they were out of biscuits and gravy which we wanted and they didn't have the cocktail of the week which they were out of so after we ordered our drinks we waited for our drinks for another 10 minutes still no drinks so we left!

The old lady and I went here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. The menu did not disappoint! There were waaaaaaay to many options for us to decide on something. So we went with their "sharing" option. An item from all three plate size categories PLUS a dessert for 40 buh! Absolutely perfect! After the tomato salad, tater tot cassarole (could have been a meal itself!), and the fried chicken (red hot riplet dredge) , we were too full to even touch the dessert (banana bread pudding, so good I felt I needed to go to church to thank someone) so we took it home. Relaxed atmosphere, all Missouri beers on tap, great staff. We will be back, and back again, and again. Again.
