The food is above average but not the best in town. We usually have a good time here but the service was terrible last time. I assume we got somebody on a bad night. We have been a number of times now but I don't know if that would be true if we didn't live two blocks away

After one visit, this place is in my top 10 favorites. The falafel tacos were achingly delicious. The draft beer selection was small but excellently curated, with beers from craft breweries we'd never heard of but were all excellent. The menu is extremely vegetarian friendly so I can't wait to go back to try something else (and maybe have one of the amazing looking Fruity Pebbles sandwich cookies I was drooling over)

Casual but interesting. Worked perfectly for meeting a small group of friends for dinner. Was not very crowded on a Friday night, but it may have been due to snow. Fun selection of hand-crafted cocktails, and the duck fried rice was the winning dish of the night.

Added an extra star. They have been upping their game. Every time we have some amazing food and drinks. Everytime just one thing is off. It's a shame. Highly suggest their brussel sprouts. Delicious and not at all what you think of with Brussels.

Great service and excellent selection at the bar. The food is absolutely incredible, but you MUST make sure to save room for dessert. Phenomenal desserts!!! Great price for how amazing the food is!

Clean, great service, and wonderful food. Had the brunch {get the burrito} and cant wait to come back for dinner.
Went back for dinner, and was a little disappointed. Service was adequate, but not great. Soup was bland, and burger wasn't cooked to proper temp. Very overpriced for the underwhelming result.

My Mom and I came here for brunch on Sunday and was pleased to learn they have all day happy hour (on Sunday)! She had the spinach artichoke dip, which had an interestingly lemon zest to it, and I had both the chili pork and pork belly tacos, which were AMAZING. Cool atmosphere with a solid line-up craft beers (although not many basics) and a great location in the Maplewood area.

Nice restaurant, great location. I had the duck on a bed of very tasty rice. It was delicious. The staff was on point and very accommodating. There are several bars nearby if you're inclined to continue the evening.

It was wonderful. The bacon fat fried were better than that name implys. Randy the bar manager was great. I order an arsenic and old lace, because I love the movie, and it was great...pink and pretty but notimply. Do yourself a favor...go there

Cozy and homey. Tables with atmosphere lighting and big windows at the entrance. We came early on a Tuesday evening for a burger special, The Idiot, I saw on FB. Looking forward to coming for a cocktail on the weekend.
We had a really nice server, and they handled the early dinner crowd so nicely. Thank you to the server and the cooks. Our meals were hot and juicy!

The menu offered lots of variety with the different plate sizes, but was limited enough that each item seemed like it had been well designed by the chef. The service was great, and we were not rushed to leave after our dinner (we ended up staying almost 4 hours). The special burger (Large Marge) and the Sam Elliot burger were great. The crab cakes, the Brussels sprouts, and the DLT sandwich were well received. The bacon fat fries were only ok, not as much bacon flavor as we expected. The Terrari-Yum (a vegetarian option) had a good description on the menu but was unbalanced due to bland steamed Brussels sprouts, way too much mustard, and beet concentrate that was quite acidic and strong.

We just left the Blue Duck after a celebratory lunch following my son's wedding. The food was fabulous! The DLT was so good it was embarrassing to eat. Everyone from the kids to adults love what they ordered. The Applewood salad, quiche, cornbread and mac n Cheese where some of the favorites. The deviled egg potato salad was delicious. I can't say enough good things. We will be back. When you have great food and service and great prices too, how could we resist! Thank you for making a wonderful day even better!

Food: we always try something new and be adventurous. So far we have not been disappointed with anything we ordered. We love how the menu can change and leave us surprised and delighted to try something new. We look forward to trying their "Tasting Menu".

Drinks: we never order alcoholic drinks we are not drinkers.

Customer Service: no complaints. Our server is always kind and knowledgeable.

Atmosphere: nice for small groups or a nice spot for a couple meeting for lunch.

Will definitely keep coming back as long as the food stays tasty. Keep up the good work guys and gals.

Did was really good and the staff was laid back. Not much parking so plan on using some of the reserved parking across the street and hope you don't get caught. I went there for lunch during the week and it was ready to get a table. We made a reservation just in case but I would say it wasn't needed. Definitely with trying this place!

Great food and beer selection. I had the pork shank and it was extremely good. The only issue I had was it seemed like they had to kill the pig first it took long enough to come. That said when it did come it was a great mixture of savory and sweet.

I really REALLY wanted to leave a good review for this place. The food was good the drinks were good but the service was TERRIBLE!! The server named Ian took our order about 30 minutes before closing and never came back. Brought the drinks and one appetizer without a word. We ate the appetizer while waiting for the other one ordered. 30 minutes later, still no appetizer, drinks are empty and the waiter seemed to actively avoid us. He never even brought out the other appetizer and then charged us for it! Needless to say we paid for what we got and ran!

We arrived at Blue Duck with limited expectations. We ordered the lamb meatballs and duck tacos, and were left wowed by the quality and quantity of their food. Every ingredient was flavoured correctly and melded together as to render each bite a treat. The cocktail menu is adventerous and while the one we tried (The Soul Squeeze), slightly missed the mark, we're hopeful for the rest. We look forward to visiting again.

I will make special mention of the Tempura Picked Cauliflower, which is incredibly well composed and perhaps one of the best dishes I have ever tasted in St. Louis. The tang from the pickle is balanced perfectly by the miso tahini aioli with the gouchjang jelly adding a note of sweetness to finish it off.

The Cubano was amazing, almost like Miami. The burger was good and there a lot of drink options. They were out of chips and the location was hidden. We found it by accident. They need better signage.

The folks at the Blue Duck hosted a genuinely nice evening. Great martini special after 8pm, combined with good food makes for a solid choice in Maplewood.

Opening with a fried Califlower, sprinkled with sweet and sour and mustard. Followed by a thick sliced pork belly on cheesy grits. The menu offers hearty selections for a hungry crowd.
