My home was listed for sale and within 5 days we received an acceptable offer. The buyer was unable to complete the transaction and I had already started the process on purchasing another home. Malcolm went to work to assure that my house was sold and I could continue with the purchase of my home choice. Also, Malcolm is so very patient and respectful.

It was quite a journey involving the beginnings of construction, selection meetings, many, many emails/phone calls, and then finding the right house. He was incredibly knowledgeable in the process, providers and solutions to issues. He was always prepared and super pleasant to work with!

John Gilbert should win realtor of the year for his work with us! We began the process of buying a home in the construction world back in April. We picked the lot, sat through the meetings, made the selections and then found out the company was out of money! He guided us through the process of getting out of that contract in a legal manner. We would have been completely lost and in a REALLY bad situation if we had not had John with us. We are so thankful to have made contact with John through the Ashton website and started looking at houses with him. He was amazing at handling tough situations that were really uncomfortable for me. He was able to say what needed to be said and be completely professional the entire time. He made more phone calls and sent more emails than we can even count! John was always more than ready to help in any way he could. If he wasn't directly able to answer a question or provide a service, he always found the answer or someone who could.
Once out of our construction contract in early November, John knew our likes and dislikes and helped us quickly find the perfect house for us! He handled communication with the other realtor perfectly! We closed 3 weeks after we put the offer on the house! We were so excited to be in a new home for the holidays after such a nightmare of a situation with the bad builder. Even since closing, we still talk to John. We were so excited to have had someone so wonderful be with us on this journey and find a friend out of it all! Thanks again, John!

Michele Wilkinson was a very awesome agent. We just stopped in to an open house on a Sunday and she was very kind and talkative. We ended up staying in the house for a while as she walked us through showing us around and low and behold we decided to buy the house! We had a pretty unique buying situation and Michele helped us through the entire process and was always quick to respond to text, emails, or phone calls making anything difficult to become easy. We would highly recommend Michele as she was easy to work with and a great communicator.

Extremely poor inattentive sales team with no customer service skills. The majority of the team seams to be new and amateur agents who know very little when it comes to quality customer service . It was clear with our experience they were after the commission check NOT finding us a home that we would love . In addition they charge an extra $400 fee that none of the reputable realtors in the area charge - when asked what this was for was told it was standard. This practice may work on inexperienced buyers but we know very well that buyers do not pay sellers pay commission - this $400 extra fee is not a fee any buyer should ever have to pay - in reality it s a ploy to take money out of hard working people so they can buy another billboard . The reality is the good firms are already known and do not need to charge unsuspecting buyers extra fees and do not need to buy billboards or pay to pretend to be apart of something they are not. Shop wisely my friends.

when i decided to buy my 1st house i used them , Kirolos hanna was my agent and he was with me every step , i bought my house $15,000 less than the asking price

Misty is awesome! We called her out of the blue and we immediately knew she was the right realtor for us. From the start she was very personable and helped navigate us every step of the way. She was very responsive and always made herself available either by text or call. At one point we had lender issues and she took the necessary steps to keep the process moving. This was our first home buying experience and Misty really made it so much easier than we ever expected it to be. She without a doubt went the extra mile for us and we can t thank her enough!

Not so good... I was working with 4 different realtors from various companies for which I was very specific that I would only sign agreements on a house to house basis. Unfortunately for me, I was careless and trusted the agent here to write the same agreement. He sent me a contract stating his exclusivity. I was forced to pay commissions to this group even though they did nothing to secure me a home. The fault was mine but WATCH WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING FROM THESE GUYS.

I worked with Keith Waller for the purchase and sale of my home. With the purchase of my home, I dealt with some of issues with him talking over me and not listening to suggestions that I had. I knew we weren't friends and just wanted to get the home needed, so I looked over these things because he had other good qualities. It certainly was just a transaction type of experience - nothing more or less. He was responsive and knowledgeable which is why I chose to go with him for the sell of my home a year later. I am not sure where we went wrong the year later. I knew he'd talk over me and really did not care what I thought, but it was terrible this time. I used his suggested inspector the first time - DO NOT DO THIS!!! It was my first purchase, so I really messed up here, but got a chance to see really what happens if you do that. Also, remember, it is your house and your sale - DO NOT let agents talk over you and be rude. It is your home, so make sure your suggestions and concerns are heard whether or not the individual is the most knowledgeable party regarding your home sell. He also dropped the ball on a few things both times, but fixed them, so I did not get upset or anything due to this. However, if using him, document EVERYTHING and make sure you repeat any request several times, so things are clear. He did not show up to closing and provided my closing documents, only after asking, about 40 min prior to closing (which had inaccurate charges on it that he had "missed" but were providing him with additional money). This really was the last straw for me. I suggest if using this agent a few things: go with your own inspector, do not allow him to book your final walk thru a few hours before closing (this is ridiculous and you should be given time), make sure you are being thorough regarding any repair request or any contractual agreements, DO NOT just "go with it" because he says it is best (trust me here I would have lost money if I did), always keep your documents and any records as with anything else, and MAKE SURE you are getting your documents in a timely manner to review. Agents have mandatory timeframes in which certain documents have to be provided - do not let them play you. I strategically did not tell him about my next purchase as I wanted to ensure that the sell would go well. If you are selling and buying, I would hold off on the buying part with him until you know if he is the right fit. Not terrible, but I personally would not suggest him anymore.

Tonnya Acree will be a forever friend after my first time home buying experience. She allowed me to guide the direction that I wanted to be in. She never once pushed me into any homes or areas and was incredibly patient.

I had 9 million questions during and throughout the process... honestly even after I closed and she went above and beyond in making sure I had all the resources and knowledge necessary to make such a big purchase.

Angela Durr is a realtor with The Ashton Real Estate Group Re/MAX. What really made me mad is after she lost the listing of my home she tried to gossip about me to my current realtor. I find that so unprofessional and immature. She is a liability to RE/MAX. I will file a complaint with the Tennessee Department of Commerce for the several incompetent things she did while she had my home and then she refused to take my listing down for several days even after I told her in writing thru text messages and emails to delist my home with Ashton Re/Max. I had to contact her broker to let them know what she was doing and how she refused to take my home down off of the MLS. She listed my home for over 60 days and I never once met her or any one with this RE/MAX group. My home was shown over 20 times and each time either a door was left unlocked, floors were tracked with dirt, muddy shoes prints and then once two toilets were used with the seat up and urine in the toilets right after a showing. Even when I stated a realtor had to be present to see the home, the doors were still left unlocked and wet shoe prints were
still throughout my home after each showing. Angela Durr listed my home with the incorrect subdivision name and property tax that was $3500 higher. I told her about this and she argued with me that I was wrong and this was from the county. After I presented proof she then changed it. She would not investigate to find out the correct information. I had to do so. Save yourself some trouble and steer away from Ashton Re/max, especially Angela Durr.

The web site is irritating since after only a limited number of views it insists that you must sign up. By doing so you agree to be the recipient of endless emails from the Ashton Group whether you want them or not. Whoever makes the rules for this web site doesn't understand that when I find a listing of interest I will contact them for further information. My rule is that I don't use these irritating web sites since I don't need more junk mail.

I can't say enough about our realtor, Jamie Ricke. My husband and I just closed on our home after over a year of searching, and I can honestly say I don't think we could've done it without Jamie leading the way and being at our side.

We're first time home buyers, and our needs/wants list was pretty long and strange (high acreage so we can have animals and plant food, low budget, not much money down, house with character, within a small radius of our previous neighborhood, etc.) In addition to those things, we weren't opposed to fixer uppers or properties that others might not find suitable. Not only did she guide us along the home buying path, answering any and all questions over the course of the months we worked together, but she happily took us into some pretty shady properties we insisted on seeing and hiked, sometimes through the rain and woods, to see every inch of properties with us! She drove over an hour each way to multiple properties for us, happily and excited over the possibility of this one being "the one".

She provided so much knowledge and advice to us, but she didn't just do that. She encouraged us on our long journey and helped us keep the faith that our right home would come along, and it did!

I know not everyone's search will last as long as ours. I'm positive Jamie can work quick-turnaround magic with a semi-normal needs and wants list. But we were with her so long that I was honestly sad to say goodbye when she handed us the keys.

Jamie has been invaluable to us. She's whip-smart, hardworking, such a great communicator, and will go out of her way again and again to make sure you get the home of your dreams. She has your best interest at heart and is entirely trustworthy, in a field that can be confusing and riddled with tricks. I couldn't recommend her higher.
