A nice experience in Amsterdam. Great actors and a really good set up. The corona distance rule has also been creatively solved: each guest is given a specific role and must stand under their symbol in each room. A star deduction because it was relatively short (1/2 hour), which certainly had something to do with Corona, we didn't see the mirror cabinet, for example.
Had an amazing time. We purchased our tickets in Madam Tussauds as they give discount. The audience interaction throughout the tour was great and the acting was brilliant. I'm hard to please but it was actually quite enjoyable. Try prebook online or get tickets at Madam Tussauds for cheaper.

We had a somewhat annoying group of teenage boys in our group who sometimes ruined it for the group. In the end, the most annoying of all was removed very professionally by security within 1 minute. Well settled.
Fantastic attraction, extremely well thought out themes, decorations and brillianty cast staff!!! One not to miss!
Near and that the Centraal station you can find that atraction and you can experience the history of amsterdam by horror (in a funny way) all the journey through the basement is about 30 to 40 minutes.
Super fun experience here! The two of us were here, but this would have been fun on your own as well. Everyone is taken into the past in an interactive, mocking way. Halfway through we were offered something to drink and were able to buy pictures. After all, the staff were friendly too!

Been today and was above my expectation !!! really great fun doing acting the special effects and explaining objects and torturing in a playful way is just really fun. It is definitely worth the money !! you are involved as an audience in the events, which gives it a very special experience.

Good for some but not my cup of tea. Essentially a scary walk through with all the info relayed by period actors with a lot of comical japes. Personally I would prefer a little more realism maybe mix the acts with some more museum like features where you can look at and read about things of Interest. I was selected for a sketch about a courtroom trial for being a fashion killer.. Moderately amusing but not at all interesting. And that was how most of the Dungeon played out. Learning about the Dungeon and the time period in which it was active came secondary to cheap laughs and jumpscares.
Not great if you do not understand English. He should have a session in French. There was a lot. Or used headphones or less blah and more actions that scare.
I never imagined people were once tortured like that so I found the tour to be very interesting and attention grabbing. Definitely shook things up from all the art museums. I recommend going here. It takes about an hour to see it all.

My daughter wanted to go here during our day in Amsterdam. Really a fun, exciting, historical top attraction. You sometimes get scared but you also laugh a lot ....

This is such a tourist scam and a ripoff! They had a Halloween "special edition" at a lower price (12,50 instead of 19 ) and it was time limited (just one day from 9 pm to 3 am). With good advertising, they made such a fuss about it the line to enter was so long we had to wait for about 3 hours on cold to get in (usually it is not crowded). And there was no special edition at all, just a few pumpkins at the entrance, assistants in costumes and a halloween theme photo frame. At the entrance, they take a photo of you, photoshop it and at the end, you can have that photo for "only" 15 ! If you don't buy it, your photo is gone. This is outrageous and it is a shame they don't offer you a digital version at least at a lower price if not as a gift. Regarding the show, I would say it is a Dungeon of comedy not of horror. It was fun, the actors are really enjoying their acting (except one actress, who left her stage and never came back; others appologized for this, but they didn't offer anything to compensate this failure). Overall, I recommend this show only if you are extremely bored in Amsterdam (which is almost impossible).
Spent a Halloween night here with my family. Came home with a goodie bag! Absolutely worth of the entrance price and a story to tell.
More funny than scary, worth going if you want to kill some time
One of the best attractions in Amsterdam. The creators take this city into the distant past, telling horrible stories. At the same time, however, there is a lot more laughter, because the actors themselves play with tears and situational joke to tears. A must see during your stay!
I've been to the London and Edinburgh Dungeons before and this has been my favourite one so far!
Attraction more for adults with a slight trek of excitement and fear. An interestingly presented story of Amsterdam played in several scenes in which we participate. I recommend if you have a moment of free time and want to break free from street rum.
Fantastic place. Staff very friendly and helpful and did really amazing job to make our tour exciting and scary. My 8yo daughter loved it. Must see.

A fantastic experience, I admit that in some moments I felt some thrills, the thing that surprised me most is the interpretation of the actors, very good and well set in the part. All very accurate in detail.

This jump-fright experience packed in plenty of local history. There was a short wait at start and the group size was reasonable. Photos at end were fairly priced. There's a shop too if you're after more souvenirs.
