Great beer list and good food and a cool location....
Great beer list and good food and a cool location. Win, win, win.
Great beer list and good food and a cool location. Win, win, win.
One of the best selections of beer in the Lower Mainland, and an enjoyable place to spend a summer afternoon.
Lots of great beer and quite a few vegetarian food options. Busy, but we didn't have to wait too long for a table even as a group.
Hands down one of the top pubs in Vancouver. Great beer list, food, and staff.
Food is interesting, beer selection is amazing. Always busy and a local favorite. Could use a few more staff members and a different seating setup.
They have a great beer list that changes often. The food is solid.
Used to be a go to but since the area. got trendy the bartenders and door girls have increased elevation of their noses, pointing into the air.
Bring me back some chill Alibi times please.
Excellent beer recommendation from Gavin. Veggie burger was very tasty - love the garlic, lime and chili vinegar for my fries!
Didn't try the food, sat at the bar. Will say the wait on the weekend sucks- but good selection of brews. Good service, enjoyed my time.
Really loud, not much of a beer selection, their pork sandwich needed less pickles, more meat, and less bun. Had to eat it with a knife and fork.
Great space. Extensive local beer list and tasty food too! Would definitely come back. Get the 'fratbat' if you can't decide on one beer.
Love this place and space. Really cool how the trains pass right by the window. When it's busy they open up the downstairs where you can order at the bar and take a seat. Awesome beer selection and I recently had their brunch they offer on the weekends. Really tasty and great coffee!
Nice setting, decent service, really good selection of beers.
We dropped our leftovers on the floor. Without missing a beat, we left. I'm sure they cleaned them up after we left. Sandwiches were really awesome, if you eat bread. I had reintroduced it into my diet temporarily that week so, yeah. Couldn't be beat.
Great atmosphere and even better beer selection. They change their selection fairly often so there is always something new to try. Their brunch is good too!
I came here on a recommendation for their beers and was impressed. They had great service and a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend the chocolate stout which they have a great selection of.
Not too hip, not too shabby, the perfect go-to for locals.
Good food at a reasonable price to go with their great selection of beers. Great place to catch up with friends.
Went for brunch had a chorizo hash and a beer cost me $27 went out still hungry , plate was very small. Will not go again.Good beer selection doh.
Great place, upstairs and downstairs. Away from Granville which is nice.
Great beer selection and amazing fried chicken sandwich!
Great craft beer selection. Great food but a bit pricey.
Best beer list in the city, consistently great, staff always are aware of their surroundings and welcoming, but also knowledgeable. If they don't know there's always some.on staff that does, honesty is very important. Amazing overall.
My favorite place to drink beer in Vancouver. The breweries/beers chosen always impress. Food is pretty good too.
Burger, it was good. Like how they gave you an actual heap of fries
Amazing beer selection and the bartender is always helpful in choosing what to drink. Highly recommend getting a flight. Last time we just let the bartender choose for us and had a great time.
The only reason I don t give this place 5 stars is because I used to love the beef burger here. But something changed a couple years ago and I don t think it s the same beef.
Best beer room in Vancouver, full stop, absolutely incredible, you can get crazy beers here you can't get anywhere else. My favourite is the Storm Imperial Flanders Red.
Good selection of beer, but not much on the food menu
Best beer bar in Vancouver.
Killer tap list everytime, with styles ranging from IPAs to stouts to farmhouse to sour to lagers. We'll curated, and a huge selection to choose from. Often carries several great imports as well, such as Holy Mountain, Engine No. 9, or even Cantillon on occasion.
Food is solid modern pub fare. Highly recommend the burger, skinny fries with house ketchup are good too.
Often a busy place, there can be a bit of a wait unless you get there either early, or quite late. Thankfully they're open late most nights, making this a great spot for a late night pint.
$12 for a four-pour flight of one of the best beer selections I've seen in ages? I've died and gone to Beervana.
I've come here more then a few times. The every time I come its wonderful. I have great food and an excellent selection of great beers. The beer selection also often rotates, and so if you enjoy good craft beers, and this should be a definite stop for anyone passing through or hell even for locals.
Great selection of beers, served by knowledgeable and helpful staff. And it stays open later than the breweries!
Lots of beers and a cheerful atmosphere for a nice evening
Excellent beer in a very cool venue in a very cool location. It's real busy a lot of the time because most people know this already.
One of the original Vancouver craft beer parlours. I've been coming here for years and a must visit for any beer aficionado visiting Vancouver. Massive and frequently changing selection of local craft beer on tap. Great food and excellent service
A modern bar with a hipstery vibe. Their selection of beers is astounding, which can be a little overwhelming but gives you plenty of choices. I tried the classic beef burger and it was delicious! The flavours were good, and the burger itself was nice and juicy. The wait was a little much when I went, but that should not be something to complain about.
One of the things I despise about this place are their long line ups on weekends especially. It's nice how they take your number down though and give you a call when you're table ready. It gives you the opportunity to walk around or go for a drink somewhere else by the time your table is ready.
It's a pretty chill atmosphere to hang out with friends. It's very crowded though so expect it to be pretty loud.
I got their special house burger which was massive!! I got all the ingredients on it. Could barely hold the burger let alone bite into it. Very messy but delicious.
Beer is always good here and they have a large selection. Would go back to have a hang out night with friends. Would not recommend for dates.
Perfect place for some beers after work. Ideal place to hang out for the night with a group of friends. Huge beer selection and super casual environment.
Great atmosphere in a large industrial space. Get the beer flights.
Food and service was absolutely amazing. More fries than I could eat! I will be going back for sure!
The gem of Vancouver beerbars.
Huge two-level space, with fantastic food and a terrific tap list. Always a bunch of stuff I am very keen on drinking available.
Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and more than a few times I ve enjoyed great conversation with both them and other customers at random.
Absolutely worth your time. March yourself over there on the double and prepare to wax poetic about the good time you are sure to have.
Love this place. Good beer selection. Cool location near the train tracks.
Love the selection of beers and ciders of course, but have lately been very impressed with the food. The duck & BC cherry salad is amazing.
They have such incredible knowledge here and the service is fantastic. Great selection of beer and food. Hot tip: if you sit at the bar you can watch the trains go past. Makes this a really unique spot off the beaten path. Had a lovely night with my boyfriend. Thanks!
Good bar for local craft beer. Not eaten there for a few years but the food was good.
Best place to try out different types of craft beer. Unpretentious, and always awesome.
Cool little bar with a pretty great drinks menu. The view is what you could call "industrial", but it fits with the whole vibe of the place. Prices are in line with the rest of Gastown, so don't expect a cheap night out. Check out their charcuterie and cheese platters. They've got some interesting items on both!
I ve always liked the Alibi room. It s excellent food and terrific beer. It s Also a great place for groups.
Cool place with unbeatable selection of beer. I'm not giving 5 stars because the music was way too loud. I left after one drink, because it was impossible to have a conversation there.
Ordered chicken wings here and they are up there with the most flavourful and crisp (in a good way) wings I ve had in Vancouver! They had a great selection of beers and good food!
Excellent beer selection and tasty food. Would be nice if they wrote down which beers were which on your flight.
Best staff. Great food and delicious beers. What else could you ask for?!? Will visit again next time we are in town.
Such a great breakfast menu and great choices of drafts on tap.
Amazing atmosphere and always busy. This place has really good food especially the burgers which are all priced well and have a load of fries and tasty non-mayonaise coleslaw. This place as a very massive craft beer selection all on tap. Probably one of the best two beer selections in Vancouver.
Fantastic beer and sours selection. Fun crew, knowledgeable too. Recommended for all. Also, food was really delicious.
Very underwhelmed at the selection of beers. They seem to be going through a hazy NE IPA phase. Service was meh. It was pretty empty in there. The best part of the visit was the TV crew filming outside. The tap handles that were made from vintage reclaimed yarn spools were cute.
Great beer selection, very friendly and knowledgable staff. Typical Vancouver prices Too many hipsters and a bit crowded.
Too loud but the food, drinks, and service were great
I love the selection of sour draft beers on the menu. But the smell of raw sewage permeating the place is nauseating. Probably from the open windows. But should not be acceptable.
Food was great, extensive and ever-changing beer and cider selection. Only downside is that it's a super-popular place, so expect to wait at peak times.
Hands down one of the best curated offerings of craft beer in Vancouver, distributing both local Canadian and American West Coast brews.
Had a great selection of craft beer. We ordered some finger foods and they were delicious compliments to the beer. The staff was all lovely.
An essential stop for all beer lovers coming through Vancouver. The Alibi Room has arguably the best beer selection and unarguably the most craft beer nerd cred in the city. The menu list is always extensive and curated well, often holding beers that would be otherwise unavailable throughout BC or even Canada.
If you love beer Alibi Room is an essential stop.
The burgers and fries have remained as good as ever, and they've remained the top establishment for unique and interesting beers, but the beer prices have creeped up a bit since my last visit. Most beers are between $6-7 before taxes and tips; this might be fine at a proper sit-down restaurant, but if seated downstairs, you'll need to amble up to the bar to order food and drinks. Could stand to offer more bike racks/parking, as the area remains a bit dodgy.
Drink the beer and definitely find a cosy spot below and order the cheeky skinny fries. Yum garlic oil available upon request . . .. . . . ..
