Always a great experience. Good food, good service, state wide. Don t pass it up.

The steaks were awesome rolls were great,peanuts were a blast great decor friendly hot servers and fun time even if its slow service. Hamburgers as well are !!!!!!!!

The hamburgers were terrible. They were so charred my daughter didn t eat hers. The service is really good though it was busy at 3pm. I had a ribeye and it was very good. Their rolls with cinnamon butter were hot and so soft. So sad the burgers were such a disappointment.

Good food. I especially like the loaded sweet potato with extra molasses.

The customer service was outstanding! We were celebrating a birthday tonight and my food was cold; otherwise I would have had no complaints!

Fries were overly salted, the floor had peanut shells scattered, and the restroom sink was covered with towel paper(it was messy)

Stake was just right. Tender n Tasty. Service was great.

My family and I were in Abilene to celebrate a family members 85th birthday. We had an awesome lunch. Steaks and chicken were delicious. The rib eyes could have been more tender, but they had such a good flavor. Our salads were cold and crisp. And those heavenly hot rolls. Oh my! Staff was helpful and friendly.

Sure would be nice if I could use my gift card to order online. I got it before the pandemic and would like to use it but I can't use it online. when I call I sit on hold FOREVER! I give up! Ill go hungry tonight!

I absolutely love their catfish! Had it with some steamed fresh veggies and rice. A great combination. I ordered the mac and cheese at first but it looked dry so I traded it for the rice. The rice is really flavorful. Love TX Roadhouse in Abilene!

I have been many roadhouses.... and by far the food was better than most. My steak was perfect. Our service [michelle] was topnotch. Our glasses stayed full. She waited to make sure steak was correct. Very good experience.

As usual it's packed but my family got reservations 30 minutes prior to arriving so we immediately got a table. Bread and cinnamon never goes wrong and the steaks and appetizers were really good.

My wife and i went here the weekend before fathers day since i was gonna be out of town for work. We waited for 30 minutes with our 7 kids for a table. We finally got seated and were sitting for bout another 15 to 20 minutes without any service. I then asked a waitress passing by to speak to a manger. After asking a group of 3 or 4 other waitresses kept looking our way. Then a waiter came to try get us drinks and such. I had asked for a manager and this guy who had walked by us like 6 or 7 times claims he is serving us and asked rudely what our problem was. I told him i demanded to see a manager. Another 5 minutes goes by and she finally comes. Says that the guy waiter was serving us but was not concerned that a family of 9 had literally waited an hr for nothing. This place is horrible at customer service from the shift managers on down. I would like to try this place again but doubt i will want to put my family through that again. I do not recommend this place at the this time.

Great food and reasonable prices. A little loud, so if you're going to eat AND visit be aware that may be a little difficult.

The food was delicious. The service was AMAZING (thanks Kamryn)! TRH is a must have when I'm in town. Incidentally, there's a TRH in my neck of the woods, yet the food and service doesn't compare to this one....a touch of heaven on earth.

Excellent service, friendly staff and smiles all around. Management is professional and employees seem very happy to help customers while having fun.

This place always has the best rolls, and butter! Waitresses are nice, helpful, and rather easy on the eyes. Still one of my favorite places to eat.

Excellent meal! There was a wait to get a table but people can sit in the foyer and snack on peanuts with a pager. I got " road kill" for $9.99. It doesn't have an appetizing name but it was the best tasting hamburger steak I have ever had. I don't necessarily like all the chewing it takes to eat a steak sometimes. With this choice it tastes just like their steak and it is less pricy. You can still enjoy their great atmosphere.

Steak was great, but my sweet potato could have been cooked and little longer, but great service as always

Hands down, worst meal I ve had in awhile. Fries were super salty, steak was supposed to be a ribeye, no marbling at all..... about the only thing that was satisfying was the rolls.

Prime rib passable but not properly prepped before cooking resulting in the meat being flavorless. Kabobs were just right and nicely cooked. Service is fantastic. Noise level is annoying and conversation below yelling is almost impossible. Great for birthday celebration dinners.

The meat, bread and salads are really tasty but the loaded mashed potatoes suuucked. Disappointed cuz they used to be really good.

Just ordered an American Cheeseburger, 6 oz. sirloin with mashed potatoes and house salad for pick up. They told us it would be an hour and a half wait. I showed up on time to pick up the food and immediately noticed how cold it was. Not to mention they forgot to add ketchup and a side of honey mustard. We also asked for a dozen rolls and we got 7. Happy Mother s Day.
DO NOT ORDER PICK UP FROM HERE. YOU WONT EVEN GET A 1/5 OF THE REAL EXPERIENCE.

Love it. It's always busy so you know the food is good. My favorite while you wait snack is the fresh rolls and cinnamon butter yummy though just can't eat 1.

Came in and placed a to go order of a cup of chili and a grilled chicken salad. I made the mistake of not checking it before I left nor did the hostess check it. When I got ready to eat, I didn't have any silverware and what I asked for on and with my salad was not on it. The chili didn't taste like the chili at other Texas Roadhouse restaurants either...not good. I called the restaurant and was put on hold for five minutes...no joke!!! When I was able to speak to a person, they put the manager on the phone who wanted to know if I wanted to come back to get my correct order. I did not. He took my name and address and said he was going to mail me a voucher for another entree. We'll see... maybe, hopefully this was an isolated incident...

Four months later, still waiting for my voucher...guess it's not like Burger King...you won't get your order your way...sad.

The food was delicious. I had the fried catfish, and it was fried hard on the outside and moist on the inside. The best fried catfish I have ever had. And since i'm from the south, i know my fried catfish

Amazing decor,staff,food and drinks. I got a serlion stake with rice, green beans and shrimp. Their margaritas were a hit

We got right in every time so far. Even Sunday before Memorial weekend.

Service always sucks! Food is mediocre and the amount of the food is not worth the $$.

Didnt not have good experience, they have a display of steaks and you can pick out the steak you wanted. I picked out a 16 oz steak and they put a ticket on the steak itself to mark it, when i got served it was clearly not my steak as it was pretty full of fat and was around 11oz steak. I told them that it wasnt the on i picked and they said it shrinks when cooked. Then after i was done eating and paying for a 16oz steak i walked by the display on my way out and saw the steak i picked and it even still had my ticket on it. So they cheated me out of steak and money. And i am sure it isnt the first time they have done this its just not i could prove it. As far as i am concerned they cheat people out of money.

The wait was unbelievable. I had called ahead and was told we would wait just a little bit. A little bit turned into over an hour.

We like to come here quite often. Food is always great. Busy atmosphere. Hit or miss on the waiter or waitress. Either have a really good one or a really bad one. The training of staff is inconsistent.

If you have a large party say 18 people DO NOT come here...we waited over 2 hours and were treated horrible they also had us sitting all seperate
