While my steak was overdone I still have it 5 stars which for me is huge! The reason for the 5 stars? Our waiter! He was amazing! He was an older gentleman and was phenomenal! We visited from out of town on Fathers Day. He greeted us with a smile and didn t address the entire table as guys . That is annoying as a woman to be lumped in as one of the guys. He paid attention to my stated food allergy and brought us fresh drinks and dinner rolls without being asked. He treated us as if we were the only table he has to wait on! Stellar performance. When the service is that good so is the tip. He s a keeper!

The service was great but the kitchen staff was openly violating health code with their drinks next to food that they were making for the patrons. It was surprising to see and made me question the cleanliness of the back kitchen which we cannot see. I won't be coming back.

I enjoy Texas Roadhouse, but this one has the worst service. It doesnt matter what time of day I go there I can expect to wait at a table for 10 minutes before a server shows up. From there on its always a 10 minute gap before I see anyone again. Servers stand around and watch you needing assistance they even talk about it amongst each other, but no one helps.

I don't like to complain much, but we called ahead seating last night 10/24/2019, party of 7 for our 8 year old granddaughters birthday. We were seated within 20 minutes, which was not a problem. However, we sat in our seats for over 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. the only reason she came at that time, is because we stopped another waiter to ask for help. She was not friendly and she was upset, because they gave her our table and it was not in her seating area, where she served. (this is what she told us) It took 45 minutes for us to get our food. They brought my husbands main course and one side veggie out to him. It was 20 minutes later they started bringing out food. One at a time, at least 5-7 minutes apart, before we all had our food. We told her several times, that my husband did not get his other side. It came out as he was finishing up his meal!! We asked for jalapenos, and about 2 minutes before we were leaving, she came back and said it would be at least 10 minutes for them to be grilled. I usually eat pork chops which are delicious. My two pork chops were so dry, even with the gravy. My daughter in laws beef tips looked like they had been pulled off of a shish-kabob. Our veggies were not good at all. WE will not be back for a long while!!!

We were in town last night, with the rest of Texas for the state Powerlifting meet. Lots of hungry teenage boys gearing up for the meet of their life. We called for a reservation and showed up a little early and soon was seated. We had a rather large crowd and the table was a bit small. Our waitress and one of the managers jumped through hoops to get us to a table large enough so that we were comfortable and gave us drinks and appetizers on the house for the trouble . We ordered and visited and our every whim was met. My daughter even asked for some of my croutons from my salad and the waitress brought her some because she d heard her ask. When we got the bill expecting it to be quite large because of the crowd and large steaks ordered, only to find it had been cut in half! Again, for the trouble . We have never been treated so well. I wish I knew the waitresses name because she was phenomenal! By far the best part of Abilene!

We were there on August 8th 2020 from 6-8 and who ever the girls were at the front desk were absolutely horrific they need to be talked to. I hope they see this so they can find who was on shift and fix it because they were so rude to every person we heard, and us for no reason. Other than that the rest of our experience was absolutely amazing. The steak was cooked perfect, food was amazing and the waiter we had I think his name was Braden or Brady was the best waiter we ever had at any Roadhouse!

The food is really good! The waitress who served us was really nice and met our requests in a timely manner. Their bread is still the BOMB! You can tell this is a popular place to eat because they were almost packed, but the wait for our food was still within a normal waiting period. Their food is affordable as well.

I've been a regular at Texas Roadhouse all over Texas for many years. Sadly this time was not up to their normal (for me ) awesome standards. The service was great as usual, but my food experience wasn't. The rolls were cold and tough, and my ribeye was very rare instead of medium like I ordered. Doesn't change how I feel about Texas Roadhouse, but this visit was a little disappointing.

Typically Texas Roadhouse is one of my go to chains. This one was fairly average except both our staeks were not cooked properly. Mine was under cooked and they brought my the wrong cut of meat. The manager fixed everything and it all worked out.

We had excellent food and service. Short wait to be seated. Mike was our server and he is the best. He is pleasant, friendly, helpful and very conscientious about the needs of each of his tables.

I had the 11oz. Sirloin and it was cooked to perfection, as was my loaded baked sweet potato. My husband had the chicken fried sirloin and a loaded baked sweet potato.

I've been to many Texas Roadhouse establishments over the years and have always loved the food and the staff, however this one was a bit of a disappointment. My waitress was great, very kind attentive humble, just outstanding, however my complaint was with this particular establisent's cooks. I ordered a bone in ribeye, medium rare, but when my order was brought to me it was hardly cooked at all. It was as if it was just seared on both sides for 10 seconds. So I asked them to take it back to cook it longer, well when I got it back the first time, no changes were made, no temperature change in the steak, it was as if they passed it in the microwave for a couple seconds and brought it back. As a response I had them take it back again. Third time's the charm they brought it back and this time the temperature changed but it was way over cooked (well done). Ive never had this kind of issue at a Texas Roadhouse so I mentioned my frustrations to my waitress, and emphasised that she did her part just fine and my complaints were strictly with the kitchen staff and as a result they took my order off the overall ticket. Long story short, I would give this place another shot, however at my first experience here, the kitchen staff did not bring their "A" game.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. When the waitress asked me how I wanted it cooked I said medium. When I received the burger, everything was falling out of it already and the lettuce was scattered on the plate. I took one bite of the burger and realized one side of it was very burnt. I ate half of the burger because it was very busy and did not want to wait 20 minutes for the waitress to come back so I could ask for a new burger. When she finally came back I showed her it was burnt, and her response was "Oh I'm very sorry that happened. Would you like more Dr. Pepper?" Even if she couldn't fix anything because I had already eaten half of it she could have told me so. I expected at least a small discount or an explanation of their policies. Disappointed in both the cook and the waitress.

Disappointed. Our table seemed to he in everybody's way, all our chairs kept getting bumped. And the food would have been good had it at least been warm...steak, shrimp, chili, and fish were not hot. Fried pickles were good. Meal was comped at least. Don't know if we'll be back.
