Like coming here with the wife to enjoy some comedy. Sometimes we go just to get out of the house. I ve enjoyed every act I ve seen here. There is a two drink minimum so be prepared.

Love this place! Quick service, good food and comedy is hit or miss, but most are good.

They are great. They have good food and drinks. But they also have great comedians.

Nachos is my favorite thing on their menu. Also try their green tea shots.

Lavelle Crawford show was a great show I enjoyed myself!

Show was great but there was no vegetarian option except mac and cheese. They had a burger called impossible burger listed vegetarian but they said it was recalled . Ordered Cesar salad and it came with a weird mustard dressing.
I this day and age , not having a veggie ( even vegan) option shows utter disrespect for customers!

I really enjoyed Marc Viera act, it was a bit PG-13 in vulgarity...leaving your mind to wander and draw conclusions which was awesome. What I truly did not enjoy was the 5.75 coke, and then being charged for two when I got a refill which made the night more expensive. I would have tipped our waitress, because she was good, but Tempe Improv decides to charge you 15% automatically. Not cool.

I understand a business needs to fill seats but the fact that i had more elbow room in ANY LA venue is just ridiculous. Kitchen is horrible, bar food status at best served on dirty plates, glassware and utensils. Don't even care about the money i spent, but dear god make the experience worthwhile. Comics are great but i hope this place changes owners again or just shuts the doors. I'll take my time and money elsewhere.

Love this place! I usually only go for comics I'm familiar with but the service is always good and they keep you coming back with free tickets and meal certificates!

I went with a group friends to see a couple comedy acts here and was presently surprised. I did no think I would like it but the the club was very enjoyable. Great acts and a decent atmosphere!

They charged us around $15 per bottomless soda. It is required in the two drink minimum. Then they never refilled our drinks. We asked the waiter to bring us another soda and he never came back except to get the bill. This place is a waste of money with poor service and they gouge sooooo bad. If you learn nothing else from this post just remember to not visit this establishment. They are just blatantly out to take your cash.

Came here for Shawn Wayans stand up and it's a nice place just don't like the seating too much not very much space feels like you're at a viking dinner table don't like to eat that close to people that I don't know just my opinio other than that great place

Good food very good service and great show with Moses. First time ever to The Improv. Definitely will be back!

Great comic! Drink choices and menu items had a better selection compared to our previous visit.

Been in a few times now. Food is good, service is usually good, seating is sometimes better than others, and reasonable pricing for dinner and a show. I'm sure we'll visit again.

Dope City Tour: loved the comics , chocolate cake was amazing(very sweet).

I had a great time here with my friends. All the performances were outstanding. The service was also excellent. This is the place to go when you want to laugh.

When we.went the comedians we're boring and we didn't appreciate the horrible cracks of the country music industry. The wine was was over priced. And why does the men's room have snacks and a attendant while the ladies room doesn't, so this is more men orientated

Always a great night. Staff are fun and the acts never disappoint.

I had an amazing time at the show I attended. When it came to getting two drinks I ordered a kilt lifter from four peaks and a cocktail which was the drink of the day
When my bill came I was shocked that the drink of the day was $18 with a souvenir cup. I informed them I did it want the cup but they said it came with the cup. Wow what a way to rip more money out of your pocket. I mean is that a spoke rule that everyone is suppose to know about. Certainly wasn't pleased about that. Aside from the twist of the drink of the day had a lovely time and enjoyed our drinks.

Nice fun place 2 drink minimum and the prices are up there. But one of the designated driver drinks and get free admission for 2 for next visit.

Loved this theatre! We got dinner and a show! The local opener was just as hilarious as the main performance! Would definitely see a show at this location again

Worth mentioning that the host, Shapel Lacey, was very funny and would love to see him headline a weekend here someday. Service was great, headliner was very funny, overall very impressed with the place and will be back.

Saw Pauley Shore there he was amazing...staff were very friendly.

Waited out side 40 mins before they started letting people in for 930 show let people in at 905 lets see if this showing is worth the wait

Drinks as always way over priced! But it was a fun night!

Drinks and food are delicious and reasonably priced for a comedy club. The service is friendly and as quick as possible, and the show tickets are reasonably priced.

Nice to get out and still feel safe with social distancing. Thank you Tempe Improv for a night of feeling normal and laughter.

I would give it five stars but them two drinks minimum add up even if you're not drinking alcohol other than that it's a great place

Josh blue is awesome. But for 4 drinks we paid 60$ 2 drink min way overpriced cheap tickets for them to take you on water down alcohol.

Fun venue, but can concur with other reviews--seating is definitely 'cozy' on a packed house (as it was when I was there). Service was great, but had to knock off a star because of the drink prices; I can understand a two drink minimum, but $13 for a single mixed drink and $6/bottle beer...ouch.

Best place in Phoenix Valley to see a comedy show! Great drinks and really good food!

It was awesome! Went to see Brian regan and was not disappointed. He was hilarious. So was joe zimmerman who went on before him. Today I'm losing my voice from laughing so hard lol.

Been here a few times now! Always a wonderful experience! Great staff, great atmosphere, and absolutely wonderful macaroni and cheese!
Oh and the comedy s not bad either!

Saw Bert Kreischer here. Was upfront and center so was an interesting night but turned out great! Love this place!

It was a very friendly atmosphere and some of the comedians made me laugh pretty good.

Had a great time, the wait staff are hard working and do their best to ensure a great experience.

The comedian was great!!!! The 2 drink minimum is ridiculous expensive. The bf and I ordered both our 2 drinks and paid $75. Gratuity is automatically put on bill, service was only ok. They have terrible seating arrangements, trying to pack as many people together sitting opposite of one another. We just moved to the end of the long row of tables, no one said anything. We will not be coming back to this facility even though they gave us free tickets.

The place was an awesome night with my brotha the "weasel "pauly shore..and his opening standup comedians that were stokly funny..the atmosphere was awesome ,food was great ,drinks were the bomb And the comedy was the chit..had an awesome time with my BFF Tqla ....loved it there...Nice place to make and share good times...

Awesome experience!!! Totally loved it. My wife and I saw Brian Regan! Super funny. Yes, the drinks were pricey but in order to get great acts they've got to make money. The cheesecake is amazing btw. The staff was wonderful. No regrets. We'll definitely go again.

Had a great time here. Restrooms were clean and service was great. Comedy was great.

I don't mind spending money on entertainment, but this is too much. The wine list was terrible, and over 5x markup. 2x is standard. $6 Ecco Domani is $32. So we were relegated to cocktails. There was no alcohol in our mules to the point we didn't want another one. Our bill was $75 with food for just be the two of us, yet waiter insisted we had not met the two drink minimum. Taylor Williamson, the headliner, was unprepared for the show. I am out $200 and I am pretty sure I did not meet the drink minimum because there was no alcohol in the drinks. This place stinks! I have been here many times before, but there are other places for my bucks. Sad.

Excellent venue. Courteous staff. Mark was a wonderful server (cute, to boot!). The chocolate cake was to die for!

Went to Tempe Improv one Sunday evening. The staff was really nice. Good show. Only real downside is the drinks are really expensive.

It's fun. Its clean. The food is delicious! The staff are very nice and if there is a problem they go above and beyond to make it right!

It was a beautiful venue. The only thing I was somewhat uncomfortable with is the seats are super close together.

Very expensive my coke was $15 but my tickets were free so I guess that equals out. I saw Jamie Kennedy he was awesome. The place was clean and the service was very good.

The dinner service was pretty poor the show was great

The performance was amazing. Bobby Lee and his openers were very funny. Borderline religious experience I almost passed out laughing.

Really enjoyed sundays are tight at Tempe improv! Food is pricey but that can be expected with low entrance cost. I plan on coming back with friends!

First time at this comedy club and I enjoyed it a lot! Larger than I expected and larger than any other ones I've been to before. Two item minimum is what I normally expect at comedy clubs but this place had a two-drink minimum so that was a little different but still okay.

Great comedy club in Tempe right across from ASU campus. Seating is a bit tight and food is hit or miss. 2 drink minimum but no maximum!

A good place to unwind and hope to see some comedy. Keep your drinking to their two-drink minimum plus the ticket price. If the comedians are good, you can have a good night out for not too much money.

Love the club itself and have been going here for years but its gotten rather expensive. Dont go here if youre not expecting to drop atleast $75. Even with free tickets I got raped with fees and the drink minimum. $25 for 2 bottles of water. Might as well get booze. Cost me less for 2 bottles of vodka.

Very terrible experience with the GM Chad. Claiming to know the laws on liquor but proved several times that he was incompetent and very vague with his answer to what the "laws" he was trying to say as to why we were unable to enter. We bought tickets and were promised a refund that we have still yet to receive after two weeks now. We were not allowed in because my girlfriend did not have her ID however we both offered to not drink alcohol and to put X's on our hands to not be allowed to be served however that was not a viable response as he kept saying how they could loose their liquor license although we would not be consuming any alcohol what so ever. According to the law below;
Is it legal for a customer to be on a licensed premise without proper identification?
Yes, however, if asked by the establishment to show proper I.D., the customer must produce it in order to be served. [A.R.S. 4-241(A)]
In this instance the GM could have let us in and simply not served my girlfriend but in no way does this law show that the GM would potentially lose his liquor license and we should have been let regardless. Asking for ID as stated above is about being served, not let into an establishment to view a comedy showing, especially when they serve non alcoholic drinks and the age is 18 and up.
I would like to receive my refund for the Josh Wold show that was completely ruined by your GM because I still have not received the over $40 I should have after being told it would be back in my account after a few business days. I would also like to be reached out to Chads boss as he refused to give me that information and only gave me his number and information when I specifically asked for his bosses information.

I love coming here, been here several times and it really feels like there isn't a bad seat in the house but I do prefer floor level but it's all good. Saw Steve o and he killed it here. There is a 2 drink minimum so keep that in mind and the prices aren't really cheap but not crazy, they also gotta make money too you know. Wife ordered specialty drinks and got to take daiquiri glasses home with tickets. A lot of the comics do meet and greets after the show. Steve o meet everyone and took pics with everyone too. Fun night. They also have bottomless soda and it counts towards your 2 drink minimum.

2 DRINK MINIMUMS AND CAN GET PRICEY. BUT ITS BETTER THAN OTHER COMEDY CLUBS. STAND UP LIVE ISN'T AS PERSONAL AS THE IMPROV WHICH MAKES IMPROV THE GO TO PLACE.

Always a good time here. Chad was awesome as always and every comedian was hilarious. Great drinks and great food too!

This place is FUN! Friday nights are usually the best but Saturdays they have some real show stoppers too.

Comedy was great! Service rude, we had two servers who refused to serve us because we were in the others section. Needless to say we got no service and we kept trying to get their attention and they wouldn't even look at us at that point. I have never been so disgusted here before.

The talent they get is awesome. The drinks and food though...way over priced for quality. The severs were awesome!!!

Hubby and I went to the Craig Gass 9:30 showing and it was AMAZING!! While the venue amazingly held a lot of people it still felt like an intimate show. The Ciroc around the world is my new fave drink and the wait staff was fantastic.

Always a fun time at the Improv!!! Saw Christopher Titus this time and could not have been a better show! #AngryTeapot

There is Great laughter even if only for a few hours. Staff are Attentive and friendly

The food here is surprisingly delicious and the servers are very attentive! I will definitely be going back.
