The exhibits were great , fun , interactive an informative though a little crowded and loud. Some times it was hard to hear audio portions. The restaurant food was tasty but in my opinion way overpriced an a bit of a rip off for what you get. Even when buying a basic fountain drink an can't even get free refills because their high-tech pop machine scans a small chip or something on the bottom of you cup. Seems a little over the top to me.

The Imax theater was also a huge disappointment but more because of very poor comunication from the phone agent we booked with not relaying enough info to us even though i made it clear we had small kids. They also failed to come through on some specific seating needs that we were told wouldn't be a problem on the phone.

Overall the food an movie thing kind of soured the day for us. If we go again we will go first thing in the morning an then leave and have our food and movie elsewhere.

Great place to visit. Lots of things to do.

However, the gem of the place has to be the Purple Pear restaurant. This is not some run-of-the-mill cafeteria like you find in other museums. The food here is superb. Chef Dave Surtees has created an array of delicious and unique food items that make you crave for it. I love the pizzas and my wife loves the burgers.
Sometimes we come here just for the food.

Museum is really huge and fun. You can even go to the observatory when the skies are clear and you can look around in space and see planet's and stars.Too bad there's no food court, but its okay.

We try to come every week or two.

4.5 out of 5 Only because Telus name is on it :).

Best Imax theatre in the city for sure. Best value also.

The purple pear is the new restaraunt and is $$$$$$$$. the Chef must be paid by Coca-cola, i asked for an alternative to coca-cola, and he launched into a tirade about false coke facts. The attitude i got was one of disdain, and i almost cancelled my order, but i was dumb and did not eat before we went. He clearly aggravated at my audacity.

Very educational experience for the whole family or just with friends. I love that the exhibits are interactive. This interactivity helps you to learn and retain. Fun facts about the planets and your body. Great indoor activity especially in our long winter months.

Hello giant Petri dish of germs! The last time I was here was in 2008 for the Body Worlds exhibit and I could have stayed away longer. I guess for kids this place is good but for adults sans kids not so much. Was quite boring. Many exhibits made you interact by pushing buttons and such. Didn't see a single hand sanitizing station, wished I had packed some Purel. Felt really gross after leaving like I was covered in germs I needed a shower.

We consistently have a fun time at the World of Science, and are very excited for the updates to the space gallery. The green earth gallery presents climate change with a nod to the province's dependence on oil & gas, and has items of interest for both young children and adults.
By far the kids' favourite part is the play area which features a airplane they can pretend to fly,a fantastic water table (bring a change of clothes!) and a treehouse. There is a mother's room in the kids area.
In the science garage there is usually a building activity on, which is great for older kids (compressed air rockets were difficult for our preschooler) but also hands on activities for a variety of ages.
The special exhibits seem very well chosen, we have really been interested and enjoyed all of those we have been to.

We have been several times to TWOSE as a family. My kids (6 & 8) loved it and the adults also found it very enjoyable and informative. The staff have been engaging with the kids, the exhibits are interesting and overall we felt it was great value.

This place is great and there is alot to learn, but admission prices leave it to only a select few to get in. What this place offers in terms of an educational experience shouldnt be limited to the selected group that can pay for it. What a sad day in our world where education and learning cost money.

The TELUS World of Science has done a great job with creating engaging exhibits for the whole family. As a group of adults, we all highly enjoyed ourselves even in a space geared towards children. The dome theatre has utilized new 360 filming techniques to put on some fantastic shows. The only downside were a few pieces have started to feel dated and could use a facelift.

I ve gone to this museum many times since I was a child and really enjoy it. I really appreciate that they are trying to update it and keep exhibits fresh, and the feature exhibits like Marvel are great. I also like the Space gallery. They have a nice play area for younger children and regular science demonstrations. Definitely could be pricey for a family, but still worth a visit.

I Saw the Sign advertised about the Amazon adventure, the picture looked very attractive of the Amazon and Beautiful Creatures but very little was showing of the crocodiles and all the rest of nature in the Amazon,
It reminded me of drawing people to see a bunch of animals in the Amazon but in reality only trying to strengthen and indoctrinate people with billions of years and Evolution, The dumbest Theory ever. Not only the dumbest but also dangerous.
My conclusion, don't waste your money on that ducumentery.

Get the pass, be it family pass, individual pass, etc... The cost of 2 visits gets you unlimited visits. And with the new Curious City, your little ones will want to use there energy here all the time.

Need a huge reno and updated computer games, it is the same as when i went 10 years ago? A good 11% of the stuff was not working. Expensive, just saying need to upgrade and then the prices will be fine but not worth it if you are not over the age of 14. The star show was good and the ice melts.

We were in the museum for the second time, this time we were in the Super Heroes exhibition, very complete and interesting. Learn more about its beginnings and learn about Canadian superheroes too.

I have an annual pass to this attraction, which allows me access to several exhibits free of charge, and excellent discounts on other events/special exhibits. We purchase this each year, especially for exclusive access to Alberta s best IMAX experience. While they DON T do first releases on blockbuster films, these often do make their way there after the first few weeks of release, and audiences get an enhanced 2D/3D full IMAX experience with incredible audio and a comfortable, less crowded auditorium. Also without 20 min of commercials before. Last year, we planned a few family nights around some fun classic movies like TOP GUN, polar express, and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Each was awesome. Finally, this is one of a few places in a North America to view the exclusive IMAX documentaries, such as Dream Big, America Wild, and most recently PANDAS. It s just an incredible, multi-storey tall wide screen that makes me, a movie lover, say wow! That picture looks amazing! Even if you don t become a member, the cost is less than half price compared to the big multiplex, it s clean (you could put your coat on the floor!) and snacks aren t a $20+ upgrade. I m sure I sound like TWOSE s proud mom writing a review, but I am just a huge fan.

The zeidler dome is simply amazing. We went for "pink floyd" "the wall" and it was mezmarizing. The video quality is 10k. There is nowhere else in the world that offers this. People dont even realise what we have here. Check it out for a best in the world experience.

Don't waste your money on a season pass. Their observatory is never open TRUST ME I TRY GOING SERVERAL TIMES A WEEK ON CLEAR EVENINGS IN THE LAST 3 YEARS! Their lazer shows are over priced, they won't play custom laser shows if you book the entire room, now their summer hours are completely cut so if you DO have a job, YOU CANT GO ANYWAY.

Every time I've gone it's been pretty empty, the exhibits are kind of fun, and it's good if you haven't been before. But it's not somewhere I'd go repeatedly. It's smaller than other science museums but it's still nice

I have a special needs child, who is scared to go into the Star Theatre, so we were only able to see the dinosaur displays. I was EXTREMELY disappointed to have to spend the $26./person to look at a dinosaur display that took all of 5 minutes to look at. Obviously I can't comment on the movie, but if you're only going to see the displays, I would most definitely save your money.

This is by far the worst science museum I have ever been to. Definitely not a hands on museum since nothing in there works. Maybe you guys should use the money you make to update and make things more appealing and fun. Add more stuff to do that works properly and isn't dirty.. disappointed

Very nice interior and exterior. Love their exhibits. Imax incredible. But removing one star because the parking area is too small. But all in all it is great facility you will be walking out happy for sure.

I have enjoyed the Telus World of Science for decades. It has always been able to attract the best and biggest travelling feature exhibits even though the permanent galleries are becoming tired and obsolete. Still a great place for young kids though and hopefully will see its well deserved upgrades come to fruition soon. Currently, I visit almost exclusively for the IMAX Theatre. Its the largest in the province and shows cool documentaries as well as Hollywood blockbusters for much cheaper than the theatre chains and with good food from its newly renovated cafeteria.

We went with our three grandchildren, ranging from 4 to 10. We did the IMAX movie, the Star theater, the dinosaur exhibit, and a lot of the other standard exhibits . Easy to spend a good few hours there and the kids enjoy the activities. Probably the only negative is the food prices.

Excellent place to go for learning science. They have an exhibit for body sciences, ecology, crime and mystery, a kids area, astrophysics, as well as a dome star theater and an Imax theater. You can also book birthday parties, group events, and demos from organizations.

We went there yesterday and it was a very good time. We gave it 5 stars because it is interactive and you can learn while having fun. I really enjoyed the play area it was a lot of fun for the kids.

It seemed like every other demonstration was broken or not working properly. There was also a ton of kids there on a school trip, which is fine, but I got no warning of the impending chaos upon purchasing our tickets. And school kids in big groups are little jerks.

An amazing experience coming here to enjoy travelling exhibitions and science and astronomy. I have been here many times over the years and have always enjoyed the experience. I recommend coming here for a great time and a great learning experience. There is ample parking. It s hard to explain all that is in this place, what I recommend is just coming and checking it out and having a great time.

The entrance way was confusing. The line up was for iMax but then turned out to be for general admission as well. It's very kid friendly, I would go on a first date maybe but being in my late 20s after one visit, it's meh. I was there two years ago as well and not much has changed. iMax was super cool though. Love that the shows change
