Below average permanent exhibits for a science center, particularly for an adult (I understand that we are not the target audience). The $26 price for an adult is expensive and prohibitive for some. The people working are very friendly and helpful. Overall, decent experience for children.

A lot of underutilized space in the massive building, put some art up in the halls? Signage could be improved.

The biggest design tragedy in my opinion is the set up of the Dome theatre seating - the chairs are almost leaning forward. Having them lean back would enhance the experience and be easier on the eyes by being able to take in more of the screen.
There should be sanitary wipes/gel available near some exhibits.

Would be awesome if they could take that bass drum, heart rate thing out of the My Body exhibit, my god, so annoying! Just wanted to get out of there.

The traveling exhibit, Animals Inside Out was amazing, so beautiful and absolutely recommend.

Boring. Overpriced. Should have family price or at least when there is an hour left to not charge full price. No map or guide to know where or what there is to do. The website makes it seems Awesome. Not much to do here. Nothing compare to Vancouver TELUS Sphere. Edmonton Telus World of Science Centre is bomb compared to this place. Will not come again. Sorry not sorry... Also, in the gift shop not one magnet, pencil pen that had their logo nothing. Unreal. $60 for admission when there was an hour left but had to pay for parking as well so disappointed when the zoo literally even in the wind would have been better.

I wish they would stop pretending this is a science center. It's a children's play place, and a nice one, but that's all.

I have concerns about the area on the second floor where children can dismantle circuits. Electronics made before 2006 all have lead in the solder. Some electronics made after 2006 also still have lead in the solder, but lead is somewhat less common. Children dismantle electronics from before 2006, and electronics of unknown age every day at Spark. I have brought my concerns about children being exposed to lead to Spark staff, but nothing changed. When I was there two days ago, there was a partially dismantled cassette tape recorder on the bench.

If you are aged under 10 you will love it. Expensive entry prices for adults and pay parking. Half the exhibits don't work. Visit the science museum in London to see an amazing example of what is possible.

Great spot to take kids as there is lots to do for young and old. Give yourself 2 hours at minimum to get through the entire centre. Also bring your own lunch, the cafeteria is expensive and nothing to write home about

Better games for kids and more selection than edmonton location however edmonton one has the space experience but overall you will spend an hour or two depends on what you do and if you go imax or not

We had such a great time. Very educational and the shows kept my 4 year olds attention from beginning to end. We stayed there for more than 4 hours. Almost shut the place down. There is a fee, but if you have a yearly pass at your local science centre, its free to get in.

Telus spark has been our go-to for PD days, school breaks and just because. It's so easy to spend an entire day here without seeing and doing everything. on the flip side of that, it's also really easy just spend just a few hours there and see everything there is to see.

The permanent exhibits are very well maintained and the staff really does try to add different elements to keep it fresh. The seasonal exhibits Sparks so far has been really cool, informative and interactive. The Live Science demonstrations are super cool no matter how many times you see them and the movies shown are really neat.

Don't even get me started on the playground. There's no accomplishment like defeating that 30 foot the first time (that climb is rough!).

The giftshop is well stocked with a variety of cool stuff without being overly crowded and the cafeteria has a wide selection, which is kind of hit or miss.

It loses a star because a day out at Telus spark comes with a hefty price tag and it's not accessible to many Calgary families for this reason.

Lots of fun! Many practical exhibits for the kids. Caught a lecture on the human body. Zack, the presenter, knew what he was talking about and was able to answer any and all questions. Circus exhibit was especially interesting.

Went here for the adult date night. It was fun, and we both had a good time. They have a lot of exhibits, however some of them really weren't that interesting and seemed to be thrown together last minute. For example, there was one station where you could make your own creation with a hot glue gun and some toothpicks. Yes it was fun, however we could do that at home for only a fraction of the price.

This place is a death trap.. the visitor to employee ratio is horrible. Very poor signage as well. Way to many people inside at once. A child could easily get trampled and or killed in the Childerens playground and no one would even know until the dozons of rowdy disrespectful kids clear out I was very disappointed seeing all the kids not looking where they are going and running into my family with out even saying anything to us... And their parents didn t even care. My daughter almost got run over a hand full of times in our 15 minuets there by kids who shouldn t be running in there in the first place ...and there was long lines for every exhibit... complete waist of money and time.
Very disappointed

Everyone here is complaining about the price and how boring it is but the thing that bothers me is that they have real fetuses of a baby a ACTUAL BABY!!!! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves having a real fetus when you can use a fake fetus on display.

Love taking my 4 and 2 year old here. It is lots of fun for them, they can play independently and they enjoy the kids area a lot. My 4 year old loves going through the main exhibit as well. The cafeteria is also really great and well priced. Nice to have an option to get a healthy lunch if we don t bring our own!

Absolutely a waste of money cost 100 bucks for 4 of us to walk a circle. Place has nothing to do! And isn't worth the parking fee! Then when asked for a refund the two ladies laughed in our face. A low income family and that's how we got treated.

I've always enjoyed taking my family here for the unique learning experience but my last 2 visits have been somewhat disappointing as the facility and the vignettes are starting to fall into a bit of disrepair

Our family had a great time. The dome theatre was a great experience. The exhibits were entertaining and knowledgeable. Kids learned a lot about electricity. Body works animals was also great to see. The cafeteria had good selections and was tasty. Our one big suggestion would be to have more hand sanitizer stations throughout the exhibits. A lot of kids rubbing their noses and then playing with the exhibits.

Really great exhibit with lots of details in both english and french. The animals are insanely well displayed. The rest of the science center is great for kids and has lots of couches for parents.

Was a lot of fun and there is a ton to do there. You need to go the full day if you'd like to experience everything they have to offer. The Animal Inside Out Exhibit is well worth the visit!

Our two kids love visit the park. The new Circus exhibition is really cool, I hope keep it up and trying more often new and exciting themes for the hole family. Two thumbs up!

Sadly, I have to agree with pretty much all of the previous negative comments. Nice, big building....not much interesting inside. Science is exciting, this place isn't. The best thing we attended was a live demonstration with the school. But these shows aren't offered to the general public much during day times and weekends when I'd like to visit on off hours. The designers should take some tips from other ( more successful ) science centres and museums from other cities around the world. Vancouver is better, one in Germany was very cool.... our kids even ask to go back to the old science centre in Calgary.

Our family loves Telus Spark. They have a giant kids area with lots of sensory activities, water table and a play place. The outdoor area is great when it is opened in the summer. Buying the yearly pass is definitely worth it.

Grew up visiting lots of science museums and I can say this was still a fun experience. Excellent price, access to the theatre and many other programs with no additional cost and effective in wasting an afternoon with friends and family.

The Calgary Telus Spark center is fantastic! It's great for kids and adults of all ages with may exhibits that are extremely interactive. The learning process is natural, enjoyable, and fun. Highly recommended for the family.

Saw mesmerica, a watered down saburbanized interpretation of Jungian and Buddhist philosophy that preaches we should all spend more time pursuing happiness--the American part of its title--and less time feeling stressed out. At $44 per adult ticket that's almost a full day's pay for 2 tickets at minimum wage. Guess it's intended audience isn't meant to be poor and stressed out about spending all that money on so-so Yellow Submarine graphics.

Went for my first time with my daughter. Didn t think it was all that amazing. Way over priced for what s in there. The arts and crafts up stairs weren t too bad but that s about it. Food was stupid expensive, and didn t think it was all that good. Half of the downstairs was closed for renos or something. Didn t find the gift shop to be too bad, wasn t expecting that to be cheap. But the center was overall pretty lame for me.

Great exhibits that encourage interaction and thought about what is going on. Fun for all ages from toddler to seniors. Plan to make a day of it! There is a good cafe that can provide food to keep you going. The outdoor playground is top notch physical learning! Highly recommend.

I love the Science Centre and so happy that they finally include all the dome shows into the admission price instead of it costing extra. The exhibits are always fun. The inside out exhibit is so cool and fascinating. My kids and I loved it!!

It was my first time going here. My expectations were a bit high and I thought it would a whole day experience for the exhibit but it was good for an hour and a half. The shows in the Dome are actually amazing, definitely worth seeing them. The food and drinks in the cafeteria is a little bit over priced but they taste great.

Extremely friendly admissions desk and volunteers. Exhibition are clean and well taken care. Food was a tasty but a little over-priced and over-processed (really great labelling of common food allergens). Call centre wasn't great, though. I waited on the phone for thirty minutes to ask a simple question. Wish I could have stayed longer to check out the shows, I hear they are fun!

It's fun and interesting but when doing shows are explaining scientific things you should simplify the explanation a lot more because most kids come here for fun and when learning at a show here, I bet they don't understand the science behind the experiments a lot and will maybe understand like half of the show.
