You can not provide your contacts details to clients while you are unable to pick up the calls. This was my very bad experience for the first time I used Telkom Rosebank. I went there to upgrade my phone, completed the form just at the end I have to be told that you can not receive your phone today because the guys at the backroom were knock off (after 5pm) which I did understand and their promised to call me back the following day, this never happened, you call their number, no one answers, I have to drive all the way to go and meet them.

No, confirmed, Telkom Rosebank doesn't answer the phone. Sign of bad management, that they don't care about customer service. Typical of the arrogance so common in state owned enterprises. If they want to improve things, start by removing management, and hiring someone who can get the basics done right.

Absolutely useless. The service is shocking!

I've been trying to phone these idiots since 9am this morning they point blank refuse to answer their phones ! It's now 1.18 pm. The phone is either engaged or just rings? Bad service my backside, there is zero service, it's actually beyond comprehension. What can be done about this? Every person who works there should be fired! Incompetent morons.

The irony here is that a company selling telephone...

The irony here is that a company selling telephones, land lines and general communication packages, do not answer calls or communicate over the phone. It's ridiculous. Just to speak to a consultant takes about +- 1:30 hours in-store in the queue. I booked my phone in for repairs about 5 weeks ago, yet no communication to the status of this since then. Do I have to keep going to the store, waiting in line for half the day, just to find out whats going on??

Telkom has been debiting my account for 4 months now after I cancelled a telephone contract. AKA - theft. Be careful about entering into a contract with these guys - hell will freeze before you get out of it

Bit of a wait sometimes, but team is helpful and willing to assist with any problem. The IT 'system' is too often like a caterpillar in treacle. But it's my go to place for help. Great staff.

Very pleased with the level of service received by the Telkom direct team in Rosebank mall, they service their customers with a smile and the Sim swop was completed while I was there in the store after providing them with the needed documentation.

I had an Indian fool attend to me at the center on the 28th of June, his name is Jordan Subaya. He refuse to accept responsibilities for loading data for me on a wrong sim which i hadn't ever used and when i tried to put him thru his mistakes he left his seat and went into a hiding room leaving me standing there for over an hour. I had to seek help from another lady who was kind enough to assist. In my candid opinion, i have had too many of this experiences at that same center, i sincerely think a thorough review on employment should be conducted in the center as they have the worse customer service ever.

Telkom refuses to take ownership of the mess that is Finrite. They debit your account with ease and do provide a service. I am paying for a phone I dont have and Finrite cannot fix phone. Its almost the second the month and I don't have a phone. Besides that the shop has great service. Do not accept insurance from Telkom. You will regret it. Check Hello Peter. As soon as my contract is done . I'm leaving Telkom. An organisation that can recommend a service but takes no accountability for it's bad service and inefficiencies is a stress you dont need in life. I have an essay to say... Trust- check Hello Peter. Goodbye Telkom.

Hello there,

Yes I had to wait my turn, but then there are many people needing assistance and the consultants can only work as fast as the queries they get. I had excellent service from Raymond (and others) who have been extremely helpful whenever I have gone there. Raymond sorts out my queries quickly, he upgraded my services, renewed my contract, sorted my modem and now is fixing a query I have with my email account. Thank you very much Raymond and thank you Telkom.

Very poor service received, i ordered a new phone they gave me a new number and when i went to change it to my old telkom number they said they will process it. My number now has stopped working completely.

Completely useless. Never answer their phone. Never have stock. Never return calls from their voicemail. Never call you when they promise they will.. pretty much what you would expect from a Telkom store!

Pathetic service! went in to take out a contract. The unskilled people who work there or the incompetent systems messed my entire account up! They didnt correctly load my banking details now they expect me to pay them a lumpsum of money because of their incompetence and have my account suspended. Choose any other provider trust me. And any other branch!

Horrible service. Employees can t help, they re like a very bad decoration at the office - when you ve problems with internet employees can t do nothing and you re speaking to them (employees here are definitely stupid, I ve no an idea how they got a job) like to the wall. Telkom SA just stole money- internet is very slow and middle of the month it s possible that internet can be cutting off.

I want to say .

For the past few days I have been received bad service from the Telkom Store at Rosebank mall .. Firstly I applied for a contract for two cell phones and it was pending for almost one week. Eventually when I received a response, I was only approved for one cell phone and they cannot tell me why .. Don t get me wrong, but I just want a reason why ?

Yesterday I went in Store to collect my phone .. only to find they cannot activate the sim card because of some system issue and some order that needs to be cancelled first. They gave me the phone, and said I would get a call first thing in the morning from one of the consultants, to port from Vodacom to Telkom and sim card activation. Till this hour I m still waiting for a call !!!!!!!! I have a cell phone I bought and cannot use !!! very unprofessional, now I have to drive back during peak hours to get my handset device and number activated.

DON'T BOTHER CALLING THEY DON'T ANSWER CALLS, I WONDER WHAT DOES THE FLOOR MANAGER DO, THEIR SERVICES SUCKS.

Lack knowledge, experience, training. A really tough experience, not for the faint hearted. Like anything Telkom, yet another poorly run government business, service is not part of the vocabulary. I suggest your learn lot's of eish wena, as that's about the only thing you will get. Don't go there for a service.

Terrible experience, we need a -5 Star. I went in last week to upgrade my sim, wasted my time with an Indian lady with No name badge who assured me my wifi will be functional in 2hrs, after 4 calls over 20 minutes each during the week still no help, fast forward to today, over an hour in the shop, assisted by a colored lady with pink lipstick and no name badge, okay maybe not assisted as I'm still waiting for her call. Had to leave and run errands and she took my number, still nothing, don't even bother calling the branch - they won't answer. BAD Service, for home wifi, try the CellC next door.

One of the better Telkom branches I've been to. Great service and they've managed to help us everytime we went there with an issue. Only reason for 4 stars is because the network is REALLY bad.

This truly without a doubt is the best Telkom store in JHB. Every staff member has an interest in customer service and will help you even if they don't have your cellphone choice on display, if it wasn't for this store I'd still be dying at Cell C. Thank you Telkom!

I have taken out a data contract on Saturday 31 Oc...

I have taken out a data contract on Saturday 31 October 2015 which was meant to be activated on the 1st November 2015. To date the sim card has not been activated and no one answers the phone at the store. I am in Pretoria so cannot come to the store to enquire what the problem is. The Telkom call centre cannot help as they say the card has not been registered yet. Please can you respond and give me proper contact details so I can speak to someone to resolve this.

Very poor service, I was there 2 weeks ago to apply for a new home contract. Every day I had to go to the store to pay for something. Why not tell me on that day what immediate payments are needed????

I am still waiting for my delivery till this day!!!!

Had to update this review: Upgraded my iPhone 7 to...

Had to update this review: Upgraded my iPhone 7 to iPhone XR as well as my router to uncapped. The lady that helped us told us that the insurance on the new phone will cancel the old phone automatically. Two months later I was a victim of a mugging and lost the phone. When I call telkom insurance they claim that the store did not update their system to show that I upgraded the phone. They then changed their story claiming I said I did not want insurance on the phone, when I asked for paper work, they can t find it! Now I ll be paying for a phone including insurance for a phone I no longer have.
