A good place for an evening walk, but I do not recommend getting there at the event on a weekend, because nowhere to park, the people of darkness, nowhere to take a picture.

Of the pluses - a good set of equipment, free, beautiful views of Kiev. Of the minuses - the exposure is not very well done, you can not walk around and look around from all sides. During our visit, for some reason, access to some of the exhibits was closed, for no apparent reason.

Interesting place to visit. They had a lot of information here. I like that it focuses on more recent conflicts as well as past ones

A terrific date-smelling place. It shows the inner side of the war. They show the weapons and materials used during the Second World War

You need to spend a lot of time to come around a bit early to visit beautifully. A facility that will not be brought to a hurry.

A place that you must see in Kiev!

A great place for walking at any time of the year. For both Kiev residents and city guests. It's fun to walk there on a weekday in fine weather. When there is almost nobody there, it only seems to me that you can feel the scale of this monument and its meaning.

I think everyone who wants to know and remember their history should visit the museum.

I went all the way up (90 meters) on the statue and the experience is totally worth it. There are a lot of requirements for the weather and for each person who wants to go up (what you are wearing, physical condition etc) and there is a good reason for that. There will be some waiting time as only two people can go up at once. It's better to call them to make sure they are taking people up that particular day and come over first thing in the morning. The service for that specific experience while you are trying to schedule and while you are waiting is not on the highest level, thus I'm giving 4 stars, so be ready for that. Once you are going up everything is good.

The historic value alone makes it worthy of the rating.

We visit Kiev often, and if there is an opportunity and time, we always try to get to the museum. Every time, like the first time)

Wonderful place to stay. No cars, good air and views.

A place that commemorates the history of Ukraine in WW II. A place that depresses (positively) with its grayness, gives food for thought - a must view of every trip to Kiev.

A beautiful memorial, near the cup of eternal flame a beautiful panorama opens. And from the descent there are many paths into the bushes, if you pull a girlfriend there, do not slip.

The complex is huge, emotions will get 100%, but you need to come in summer or spring.

You need to go hydrated and ready to walk. There is no shaded place to protect yourself in summer.

There is somuch old war weapon and vehicles and really enjoying some minutes but after that its boring if we dont like war

One of my favourite museums in Ukraine. The story it narrates and means by which it does are arranged in a very interesting way. A good opportunity to look into the history of Ukraine and it's people.

He was there in his childhood in 1989, sort of then was called differently.

There is such a wonderful house where the guard lives.

The Kiev Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 moved twice until it was solemnly opened on its current place on May 9 (Victory Day) 1981 by the Secretary General Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, head of the Soviet state. On June 21, 1996, the museum was given its current status as the National Museum of Ukraine by decree of President L. D. Kuchma.

One of the largest museums in Ukraine (more than 400 thousand exhibits), the museum is most associated with the 102-meter monument to the Motherland, which has become one of the most recognizable views of Kiev. Over the years the museum has existed, more than 21 million visitors have visited it.

It was a well-designed museum with good ease of viewing exhibits. If you look at the exhibits, there may be many people-oriented exhibits, and it may seem boring for those who have not learned the history of Ukraine. However, it is a meaningful place, so I recommend you visit. Be sure to go up to the last floor!

The Museum of Military Equipment of Boys Draws Like a Magnet

Great museum. Shows what the war really was. Shows the feat of our people and the real face of nationalism and fascism. Probably the last place in Ukraine where you can see the truth.

Gloomy but very interesting, the Second World War and the war in the Donbass. Everyone needs to know !!

A good place to walk with your child, wonderful views.

This is a very good military museum. They have an extensive collection of AFVs on display and several Soviet era aircraft. The exhibits are well laid out with numerous pictures, letters and identification cards ( my favorite was Zhukovs from 1938) there is English translations provided in the vehicle parks and the exhibit on the Ukrainian defense of the Donbas in this century but very little English elsewhere. The cafeteria was wretched with only coffee for sale. But the museum is worth a trip for those with an interest in WWII.

Needs repair and maintenance. Quarantined, a lot is closed

I did not like the lift, more precisely, the fact that one has to wait. Make steps for the most stubborn ones.

You can spend a whole day strolling here - wide, spacious, scenic, etc. Take water with you ...

I liked everything, but the workers ... we were at the last hour before the closure, and all these caretakers literally pushed us out, you will not have time to leave the room, as they turn off the lights and look so reproachfully, although there were still 10 minutes ((Very unpleasant precipitate I understand that I want to go home quickly, but it's impossible, I think it's so open to show it

A place where you will find a lot of interesting things about Ukraine's participation in the World War, about the end of the camps and the life of ordinary soldiers, lots of ammunition, letters from soldiers, photographs, definitely worth a visit.

It's interesting to look and good for a relaxed walk.

Here on the Singing Field a wonderful festival of chrysanthemums was held.

You can walk. It's better here than in a regular park. Get a little difficult.

Outstanding museum with lots of powerful imagery. I recommend taking the audio tour as it augments the displays nicely. The bronze reliefs outside are quite moving too.
