The place itself certainly introduces into a voiceless stupor, very atmospheric. Each hall is thematic (for example, one hall about the Holocaust, the second about the morphlot, the third about the creative figures of those years, etc.). By the time you get to the museum you will already see a lot of everything related to the war - a combat panorama, motherland, exhibits of tanks and more. A lot of materials were collected in this museum, documents, excavation items, uniforms, weapons, notes, certificates. It will not be boring even for those who are not interested in history at all. But the minus is that in every hall there are scenes of various films and documentaries, and as soon as the guide takes the group to the next. Hall - screens turn off, ugly in relation to other visitors. But in general, it is very interesting and informative

The memorial complex on the hill of the right bank...

The memorial complex on the hill of the right bank of the Dnieper contains a gigantic bowl of Eternal Flame, an exhibition of military equipment from the Second World War. Along the slopes of the Dnieper passes the main avenue, which goes to the gallery of the main entrance leading to the square and the museum building.

Admission 30 UAH. If you want the prospect you pay 100 UAH (lift and 3 floors of stairs). For 300 UAH completely up (2x elevator and then a narrow tunnel up the stairs 3 floors). You must see. All I needed was a museum and a lookout for a hundred. Outdoor exposure of military equipment for 20 UAH.

Liked it a lot! visited your museum on Saturday, survived all the emotional states of a man of those times, wept and proud of the manhood of our people. We want to thank the museum employees, all without exception, from the wardrobe to the security guards. Also, buffet staff for delicious pastries and fragrant coffee. All are friendly, intelligent and attentive. Especially Taras for an excursion and an interesting and intense game.

A very large museum, many historical exhibits. In some rooms, music is played, there is a souvenir shop, and there is also the opportunity to climb to the top of Motherland, many do not know this. The price of the lift is about $ 15, groups of 2-3 people raise the maximum.

Good evening)

Good evening)
Today my mother visited the museum and Motherland, after almost 20 years.
It is nice when the museum is in perfect condition, they look after the exhibits, the entrance to the museum is symbolic 30 UAH.
Of course, we must separately talk about the installations of the museum .....
Walking from room to room, you will feel all the pain that accompanied the war ...
It is here that our younger generations must be taken to realize what we have been through over the years.
Thank you for such a museum !!!

The museum is simply excellent, really striking in its scale. And rarely where in Ukraine you will find such a well-groomed territory. What is the statue "Motherland" worth, it is, by the way, as much as 9 meters above the "Statue of Liberty" and be sure to climb it.

I love this place before goosebumps ... I ve been in the museum for a long time, I often walk around the territory, but this time I went with my daughter to the lower observation deck. Little children are not allowed, a daughter of 5 and a half went like a schoolgirl, with a children's ticket. But it s good that they agreed to let it go! In general, if the children are active, then there is nothing complicated there: 2 marches with steep steps and 2 absolutely normal marches. We are very glad that we visited there! The staff is helpful and friendly. The exhibition devoted to the current war was impressive to tears - they walked past to the site.
