Xittel is officially the worst of all possible internet connections in the world. if you like the much too expensive and very low quality connection take a lifetime subscription to xittel. First, 100 $ / 100go and only 600kb / s (package with the fastest speed) its called lacrosse. Second have between 60 and 2000 ping in the same 5 sec c not normal! Thirdly I don't know if the people on customer service over the phone are having fun fooling us or if they are just completely incompetent but we understand that you have a website if you are called it is to have not advise you to return us to your site like the last 10 times we called. At least some technicians do a good job, I give them. Finally, I gave them 1 star per pitier and especially because I am obliged to put minimum 1 to be able to put my comment on this good end of the day and thank you for reading my comment until the end!

I do not know where to start so there is a lot to say, but to summarize I would simply say to avoid at all costs this company (Xittel).

Oh, and they recently decided to stop offering residential service in my area and only do business, so I would have to pay $ 500 in setup fees and to open a new account when everything was already in place.

It's been 48 hours since the Internet did not work at home when writing this. I do a bachelor's degree online at university, I need the Internet, I have an exam tomorrow and I am extremely late because of their incompetence, to the point of having to leave work tomorrow to be able to go to study where there is internet.

To be with Xittel is to live the Internet experience as if we were in 1996.

It's fast but with 150 GB per month MAXIMUM and charging $150+ this company is ripping people off completely. Also don't even have an alternative company here so complete control of the market. Ridiculous that these prices can be allowed.

Still blaming the customer's router for connection...

Still blaming the customer's router for connection problems. We are now with a new supplier since the fiber optic was deployed and I didn't have to restart my router once, something I had to do almost every day with Xittel and it is the same router as the technicians blamed being at fault! He has a big lack of professionalism on the part of some technicians who literally laugh at their customers. Avoid at all costs if another option is available to you.

Customer service: I had a great experience when contacting 'new subscriptions' customer service. Melody has always shown professionalism and addressed my concerns promptly.

Service: yes it is poor however there is no other provider in my area so it gets a 5 star.
(see 'supply and demand', learned this basic concept of business in high school)

Rates: yes they are costly, however supply and demand again.

Conclusion: telecommunications companies realize the product they are selling you is water and they set the cost accordingly.

Will update this review once a competitor joins the market

promise of credited cuts and never credited waste of time with poor workers who are always brought back to reality bad company that has not evolved with technology I am definitely being hijacked by this company no service other than it. The service this company provides is sub-par at best, customer service is not exactly excellent. I wouldn't even consider recommending this service to anyone to be honest, total lack of communication with it's customers for the simply reasons. 200$ a month for the 200gb down 10 up package plus the 100$ overcharge over the limit fees, 200gb is not enough in this day of age. I think this company is just ripping off people. They don't provide good service... 0* more likely.

Bad connection for 2020. The past few years are getting worse. In a soon new company will come to my corner and I will be able to change. For the moment I am forgotten to stay with them. Don't forget the service. Very bad also because if you ask them a question, they don't answer you. They say: look on the site these claire, instead of telling you. Expect nothing with them unless you love paying $ 100 for 100GB per month. Worst experience with an internet company, everything is slow, only to write this message, it took me 2 minutes to only see the search page, the worst part of it is that within 100 meters, there is Videotron with the Fibe but because of the sectors defined in the telecom company, only Xittel offers at home, I feel hostage.
