Tekton, inc. Review

I have multiple Tekton tools. I work on cars, so they get used heavily. Do they have some flaws...yes. screw kept coming out of my ratchet until it broke. Lock down nob on torque wrench needs to be tightened with pliers otherwise it won't hold the setting. That being said, I used locktite on the screw, and I typically only use my torque wrench on a few settings. When I broke the ratchet, I sent in for a warranty claim. The next day by like 2pm the replacement was ready and shipped with tracking number. Aside from walking into a store and exchanging it right then and there. I think that's impressive. Thanks for your customer service!

I purchased a set of screwdrivers, sockets, pry bars, wrenches, and ratchets from tekton a couple months back. And I m 100 percent satisfied with my purchase. A couple days ago I broke a screwdriver trying to loosen a very rusty door panel screw and snapped a pic to tekton. I m pleased to say after 2 days I received a brand new screwdriver. Snap on would ve taken weeks. Hands down tektons been the most dependable, affordable, and easiest company to purchase tools. I plan on purchasing more tools from them very soon.

Great company, great tools. I love their 10% rewards program. I have not had the need t use the "Always Guaranteed", but it is nice to know that i am covered.

i so far i really like the tools i have purchased. i have been using them in my home shop for about a year mostly nights and weekend use and they seem to be holding up good. so after the first year of use i decided to buy the 1/2 in socket set. well my wife got me it for Christmas. i opened the box up and one of the black plastic lock for the box was broken. i will say i was a little bummed about it. so i jumped on tektons web site and sent them a email about it. in 2 minutes i had a response back saying " send me your mailing address and will ship a new latch out tomorrow morning". i though to my self thats great customer service considering it was 11 a clock Christmas morning. now 4 days later i have received my new latch!!! i even got a sticker with it.

The past few years I've bought quite a few Tekton tools. Yesterday, a Sunday, I broke my Tekton torque wrench I've been using hard for a couple years. So I sent in a warranty claim on the website saying the ratcheting mechanism no longer works. Less than 24 hours later they have already sent me a replacement via FedEx. Great customer service.

I started replacing my old tools and after some research I decided on Tekton. Since May I have purchased over $1800 worth of their products. I absolutely could not be happier with the performance of the tools. I had one socket that had some very minor pitting. I contacted them through their website, sent a couple of pictures and within 24 hrs I was notified the replacement was in the mail. If you have an issue, contact them. I firmly believe they will take care your issue.

Honestly, so tired of reviews based on where something is made. Shallow and ignorant. That said, Tekton is based in Michigan and I DO prefer supporting local companies when possible.

I am a FULL TIME aircraft mechanic and the tools I heavily use are SnapOn. But most everything else is Tekton. They are decent quality and priced right. Only one failure over the years (that I remember) and that was remedied with a picture. Next day (maybe two) the replacement was in my hand. Customer service is excellent and as a fellow Michigander, I typically get my orders next day.

If a products quality matches its price point and comes with excellent customer support to boot, sign me up. I ll give them the opportunity to earn (and keep) my business. So far, Tekton has exceeded my expectations in these areas.
