Honestly, so tired of reviews based on where something is made. Shallow and ignorant. That said, Tekton is based in Michigan and I DO prefer supporting local companies when possible.

I am a FULL TIME aircraft mechanic and the tools I heavily use are SnapOn. But most everything else is Tekton. They are decent quality and priced right. Only one failure over the years (that I remember) and that was remedied with a picture. Next day (maybe two) the replacement was in my hand. Customer service is excellent and as a fellow Michigander, I typically get my orders next day.

If a products quality matches its price point and comes with excellent customer support to boot, sign me up. I ll give them the opportunity to earn (and keep) my business. So far, Tekton has exceeded my expectations in these areas.
