Went to Ted's on Transit Rd in Williamsville, NY. I would give them a 0 rating if I was allowed! They have a new system for ordering your food. You have to use a small computer, which they only have 3 of. No human or counter service to take your order. The computer is hard to use and takes a very long time to place an order. Plus there is no one there overseeing these computers or there to help you with it. Once you get your order in the computer, you are given a number and then have to wait for your food. While we were waiting for our order we witnessed several people who had to have their orders redone because the system got it wrong!! There were long lines of customers waiting to place their orders on these stupid computers and there were lots of employees standing around doing nothing and helping people to place their orders on the computers. Also took a long time to get our food!! They were very unorganized and were running around with food and asking people if it was their order; which it wasn't. And couldn't even find who ordered it!! Ted's is very overpriced with terrible customer service!! I will never go to another Ted's again!!!

Service was good and quick. Recent visits have left me wondering if I would go back at all. My last visit however was A+ quality which is what I've come to expect from Teds. Here's hoping the A+ quality remains.

Expect longer lines and waits at meal times at this downtown Ted's than you'd get in the suburbs. That said, it's a cool mix of a sleek modern space and a very established tradition.

This is the only place other than street vendors to get the best jotdogs

This is most hi-tech Ted's restaurant around. Very clean and everyone there does a great job.

One of the best option for a burger and fries for my family because they have a gluten free bread. The food and service is always great.

I love Ted's they have the best Burgers and onion rings ever and the last time I went there my card declined and the man at the register paid for it so I could eat lunch and told me happy holidays and it made me happy all day thank you for fine service

First trying one of their dogs out and I got to say, it was everything what people made it out to be. World famous, no doubt about that at all.

Evidently a local chain. Great hot dogs cooked over charcoal, lots of customizable toppings. Serve Coke in a Pepsi town

Teds never ever fails, always hot always tasty and OH those toppings! The grease! It s dynamite!

I enjoyed this new downtown location a lot. You can't go wrong with the burgers and or hotdogs plus fries but this time i tried the italian sausage and i was not disappointed. It was lunchtime so it was busy but i was served in a decent amount of time. I look forward to going back

It's good place to eat and the vibe is cool. I just wish the prices were a little different. $5.00 for a hot dog, but it was good and I didn't have to cook, so I'll take for what it is.

The hot dog are amazing here and the service is great too. If you haven't had one of Ted's famous dog, then you don't know what you're missing.

Bacon cheeseburgers are delish. My daughter ordered sweet potato fries (I hate them!) & they were pretty good. Friendly staff & very clean.

Good but service needs work.takes too long in my opinion.handed guy a twenty for $9 bill and he tried to give me change without the ten.staff is young and dont pay attention in my opinion.parking scares.

Nothing beats charcoal for a hot dog and burger! It was busy for lunch, but they kept the line moving. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the regular hot dog, bacon cheeseburger and loganberry milkshake.

Ted's Hot Dogs had a 94 cents all day special on Wednesday, July 27, 2019! Though the line was a little long at the downtown location, the employees were extremely efficient and friendly; taking orders and moving the line along swiftly, thus making the whole experience wonderful!

You might have a bit of a wait at the lunch rush but you'll still be glad you stopped there! Great location and venue. Clean and neat.

Ted's was the best hot dog joint this side of Coney island

My and I are both from Tempe, AZ where the only out of state Ted's is (I believe) and so we had been so excited about coming to one in Buffalo! The experience left us missing our home location to say the least. The people were very unfriendly. We were the only people there at the time yet no one was at the grill and 10 minutes later we still hadn't gotten our food. I went up to check on it and it had just been sitting there the whole time. All of the napkin dispensers were empty so I asked for some and after rolling her eyes, she points to the end of the counter and says "There". We'll definitely continue going to our Tempe location but we probably won't be coming back here.

got pregnant in the bathroom. i don't recommend eating there if your significant other wants to yknow, "do it." food was great, but the next 9 months were not.

Another stop on our Buffalo food tour... Ted's hot dogs is a must! Perfectly cooked over charcoal, crispy skin, soft bread and an excellent ratio of toppings. We tried the chili cheese dog and a regular foot long with ketchup, mustard, relish and onion and both were super satisfying. Expect to wait about 10 minutes in line if you go during lunch hours on a weekday, but you get to watch their process as they make your food! I will definitely return here when I'm back in Buffalo. Thanks for a great experience!

Clean quick and delicious. Teds has been getting more and more expensive over the years but it's still worth it!

Everything is real and authentic, From the Meat To the Milkshakes.
I got Two Doubles (Burgers with 2 patties) and a Vinalla Milkshake, I was full from just one burger and The Milkshake is made with real ice cream. Not to mention, the food is made right in front of you.

Food was on point, service was fast, love the atmosphere! Super nice to have a Ted's downtown now.

WANT classic. Charbroil hot dogs, burgers, and other grilled to order favorites taste even better when you can eat them in the dead of winter. We stop here frequently for lunch as it is quick, consistent, varied, and tasty.

Burgers are fair, nothing special about the fries. Coca-Cola fountain drinks. Pricey for what you get. No need to go out of your way to eat here.

Awesome hot dogs, burgers, fries and onion rings. Classic Buffalo. Also remember to get the hot sauce, they're known for it.

Affordable hot dog. Although the footlong is twice as long as a regular hot dog, it was a good deal for the middle of $ 4. The appearance was not good enough, but the onion ring was delicious.
