Classic hot dog and burgers joints in the Western New York area.
Charbroiled to order. Get "the split" to go with your dog or burger. It's a small order of fries side by side a small order of the onion rings....because decisions are hard.

We stopped while on the way to Rochester after seeing that Ted's has pretty good reviews. Overall a good experience. The long line went fairly quickly, very clean inside & out. We both got the bacon & cheese dog, it was very good! My wife got the fries, which were decent, your typical thin fry. I got the onion rings they're thinly sliced & flour coated...could've used some seasoning in the flour, they were pretty bland. Pretty good place, the grilled bacon was the best! I'm sure we'll return.

Very opinionated review, I personally don't think the subtle difference in taste is a fair argument on how I the hotdogs are. For me, this is like going to an amusement park. Once or twice a year, no more.

No parking lot, has tables, has restroom.

Good hot dogs but frankly I have had better. (pun intended) The charcoal grilling is really tasty. The classic cheese and bacon was a little disappointing. But the split - half fries, half onion rings - is worth the trip. I could eat a quart of those onion rings. The horseradish sauce was delicious. My son compared the taste to the blooming onion at Outback. Yum! Right on the way to the Peace Bridge if you're coming up through Buffalo. We'll do this regularly now! Onion rings were especially good. NOT just breading, nice sweet onions. Fries with the right salt. Definitely a great place to stop.

We stopped by Ted's while visiting Buffalo and we were not disappointed. From plain to really loaded down hot dogs to chicken and sausage, they seem to have it all here. There was a wait of course but it moves and the crowd seems to cycle out quickly.

Great food but this is the only location where I have ever received bad service. Three girls were there, only one appeared to be working both taking orders and cooking them. They screwed up our order and then charged us. I didn't mind paying except it was clearly their error and a manager popped out from the back only long enough to charge us $1.10. We had to wait while they fixed their error by making the right food while everything else got cold. I have always been impressed by the service at all of their locations so I was so disappointed.

Delicious! The Polish sausages and jumbo beef hot dogs are some of the best I've had all my years in Buffalo. The "split" is the way to go if you can't decide between an order of fries or an order of their hand-battered onion rings! Perfect place to go for a quick and delicious bite to eat all-year 'round!

Great value with it being 93 cent hotdog day. They always taste great and have the best toppings. Took an hour to get my order but it's a special day. I thought it could've been faster is all. When no big sale, service is good hence a 4 and not a 2 of the service was like this all the time.
