A shame that a theater of such fame has locations made for babies. I measure 1.80m and I couldn't bend my knees in Casserole. We look like sardines. The best theater in Buenos Aires. Very reasonable prices for those who are willing to go higher, where they listen with incredible acoustics. Highly recommended to go listen to an orchestra or see a ballet or opera performance.

To be honest, I would not have stopped in, but since the temperature outside was close to the surface of the Sun, we decided it was a great time to drop in! The tickets for the tour are roughly $15 USD. With it, you get a scenic, guided tour of the theatre ... and more importantly air conditioning.

The theatre is beautiful and grand. The decoration is lavish and preserved. It was a real treat for the eyes. Highly suggest going if you have time... don't need to be a fan of the opera to appreciate this historic building.

Took the English tour. Tour guide was very musical (tended to hum or sing a few songs during the tour to engage us a little bit more). Afterwards, I wished I had done more research to see if there was a concert or opera we could have seen while in Buenos Aires. Beautiful architecture and well kept touches.

One of the most stunning theatres I have been. I highly suggest to watch one of the concerts, you can buy inside the theatre or in their website. Totally worth the visit. They also have visited guides.

Very classic place, not very wide but has 6 floors! At the time I watched a piece by Rachmaninoff, piano concert, was very exciting, the pianist tried to get off the stage 4 times but the audience forced her return and an encore with uninterrupted applause, are true lovers of classical music!
