Loved, went on the guided tour in Spanish, almost 50min. The theater is beautiful, architecture sensational. Admission is expensive (equivalent today to $ 60), but well worth the visit. I have not yet had the opportunity to go on a show.

It is a jewel of Latin American architecture, built at the beginning of the 20th century. I was lucky enough to be able to attend a free piano and violin concert before the guided tour. The acoustics are spectacular and the music can be heard without any electronic amplification. It was recently restored. Guided tours start at 9 am.

A beautiful place with a lot of history. They toured us through the most important halls of this theater and the one that stands out the most is the golden hall.
Our guide very explanatory and smiling. Then they took us to the very beautiful main auditorium.
It was nice to know one of the most renowned theaters worldwide.
One hundred percent recommended

Beautiful theater, very well maintained and with very good proposals of opera, ballet and shows for children. It would be necessary that in the intervals more than coffee (at least water) is offered.

Beautiful theater in every way. The guided tour (school) was very good and they took us through the different spaces of the theater. It is worth it to visit it as much as a guided tour or with a show.

Impressive building, very expensive to get in, guided tours only and not that frequent in English. Would have peferred to go to a concert but they don't have any in January and February. We looked at photos on Google instead.

Pride of the city. I had his sight for more than 10 years, in front of my office. Great the renovation they did to him. It has a beautiful square, with a giant screen to listen to good music at any time of the day. 100% recommended. It deserves a guided visit to know all its secrets.

12/2019 | The guided tour is one of the things to do, it is not just above, they make you a deep tour of the theater, you see everything that goes on behind the scenes and obviously you can check the splendor of the main hall. You are very impressed with how beautiful it is, much more than any photo you could have seen.

Wonderful place. A design that leaves you speechless. Very good acoustics, we went to see the symphony in a Disney show and it was wonderful. I longed to meet the Columbus and see a show there and it really didn't disappoint. Totally recommended. The seats are also very comfortable and everything is super clean and neat
