To be honest, I would not have stopped in, but since the temperature outside was close to the surface of the Sun, we decided it was a great time to drop in! The tickets for the tour are roughly $15 USD. With it, you get a scenic, guided tour of the theatre ... and more importantly air conditioning.

The theatre is beautiful and grand. The decoration is lavish and preserved. It was a real treat for the eyes. Highly suggest going if you have time... don't need to be a fan of the opera to appreciate this historic building.
