Amazing experience with the new digital animations integrated fantastic imagination! Spend more than 2 hours there! Visiting here on Monday but still have many visitors! Interactive places for both adults & Kids! Suggest to spend longer time instead of 2 hours as need to queue up for different special exhibitions!

I would recommend that you visit the Planets TeamLab instead. This one is very crowded and not really interactive.

Very cool immersive experience. The interactive parts are very fun. Tea room is a different experience too.

Definitely one of the most overrated places I have been at. Basically you see some big projections of different, sometimes abstract things on walls and floors. That's basically it, kind of beautiful but not more impressive that a hike in the mountains. You pay 30$ to wait for an hour or so at the entrance, no matter what time of day. And then an other hour to simply lie in a net and watch an animation on the ceiling which is not very different from a simple abstract screensaver on your laptop, just bigger. Then an other hour wait to go in the lantern room where everyone is rushing around and trying to get as many Instagram pictures as possible without other people in the background, which is almost impossible. After one minute you get kicked out of the room. I mean, where is the art in all this? This "museum" is just a money printing machine, very disappointed!

Incredible day, the different exhibitions move from room to room and some are interactive!
The main attractions are the flower nest and forest of lamps. The flower nest is a must but be prepared to queue for at least 40 minutes in peak times, it was still worth it though!
The same can t be said for the forest of lamps - you queue for about an hour and the best view is when you re in the queue! You get around 90 seconds to get into the room and get your picture before you re hurried out which was annoying. If I were you I wouldn t bother going to this room I d just enjoy the other exhibitions

One of the most awesome experiences I have ever had. The digital artwork is stunning, interactive and completely seemless. You truly have to experience this amazing attraction, especially if you have kids. The best part is just wandering around trying to find all the different rooms and experiences that form the digital gallery. An absolute must.

It s great museum!! You can see special light world here!! I highly recommend you to buy the ticket in advance. You can take all of the stuff here!!! Most part of here is dark but beautiful lights make you feel better!! They don t have a specific route to get the exit you can go around freely. Maybe it takes more than 3 hours if you want to see all slowly. Especially the special exhibitions like lantern room needs line to enter. You need to wait more than 1 hour. So if you want to enjoy very much, get in early!! They don t have a gift shop. Good place. You will have a great experience you ve never seen.

A must go place when you re in Tokyo. So much lights and fun inside there. Impossible to find a similar place elsewhere. Takes about 2.5 hours to finish all the rooms inside.

That was probably one the most exciting attractions I have ever visited! Absolutely recommended. You would need some 4-5 hours or even more to enjoy each and every light installation and exhibition

A Stimulating freeing adventure that you can bring all ages to. Interactive & challenging reminiscent of youthful times.

This place is just stunning. It also has no clear layout so it's fun to just wander round and see what you find. However leave plenty of time for this! And expect the queue in to take at least 1hour. Completely worth it if you have time to see it properly. I only ended up with 1hour30 here in the end as I needed to get my flight home but I still loved every second and think I managed to hurriedly see most of the rooms I wanted

What a play on the senses, a very artistic visual display of light and interaction,

TeamLab Borderless was an absolute sensory overload in all the right ways. The methods in which the art interacted and adapted with the people was breathtaking. It's something that really must be seen with your own eyes. Some of these photos look like they came straight from Windows default background images but I can assure you it's all real and it's here in Odaiba, Tokyo.

A unique experience that you will not find the likes of it anywhere else in the world.

It was a great experience though. We went there at around 12:30 on Saturday and there was no line at all. Lucky us. But we went straight to the entrance without noticing the locker area. We were carrying our bags and heavy coats for a couple of hours. The place was quite hot. It was so exhausting and not so enjoyable when we had to carry all the stuff. The place missing any proper sign of directions at all. So we have never known whether we have already visited every room inside. And it was super crowded. There is no way that you can take picture without ppl around. Actually what i saw is a bit different from the pictures or video on the website. Not as beautiful as it was seen on the website frankly. Be prepared to have meals before you go. It takes at least 3 hours to finish. We were starved after finish the whole thing. The athletic of forrest on the second floor is much better. there was a massive line up when we left.

This place is amazing! These digital arts are beyond words can describe! I wish I had multiple days to spend at this wonderland.

The entire place is an immersive experience, even walking between rooms or exhibitions feels like a forest, temple, or whatever they are displaying.

Very delightful modern art museum located in Odaiba. Your experience will be full of new colors inside a dark room so watch where you step. I don't recommend wearing high heels I think any flat shoes or sneakers will allow you to enjoy TeamLab at it's best because there are uneven floors, you might need to hop from one place to another, walking on a rope or wait standing on long lines.

Warning: it is not allowed to sit on the floor or touch giant colorful balloons.

Overall TeamLab is very instagram worthy.

Book your ticket online and be there early. You will need at least 2-3 hours to have enough time to explore all the rooms and take pictures. The concept of allowing self-drawn pictures to be projected to the walls as part of the exhibit is brilliant.

A beautiful & interactive exhibit. I loved all the rooms. The 'Nest' had around a 30 minute wait and the lantern room had about a 10 minute wait. Besides those lines, I was able to move through the exhibit with ease. Each room had something different to offer. We spent around 3 hours there. As the place cleared out (as we were there until close), the space became more intimate & I was able to experience the rooms better with less people in them.

Really cool museum. The exhibitions are really great, however some of it was a bit too kiddy. Great if you have kids though. It was also very busy- recommend getting there for opening or just after.

Chilled out and amazing atmosphere all around. Wish we had more time to explore as we started late. Would recommend going early so you have time to explore all the rooms. Some rooms you have to queue to get in but the staff are friendly and quick to get the queues moving. They are worth the wait :)

I went to there on weekends. They did good job in exhibition. But for the price it was okay to see only one time. Even I thought it was little overpriced. Around it s speculations here in Tokyo my expectation was more. But I like the laser and lamp exhibition.

Other seems projected on surface in some good way. Sensitivity to objects will have plus here...

I feel it got a bit tired now and not so special as this kind of attractions are more common than few years back. I wonder this still worth visiting by paying USD30 more. Staff there are also untrained and not flexible...annoying.

Such a fun experience. Line up was around the building but moved fast, about 30 mins and we were in. We arrived around 2pm. Def wished we had arrived earlier. The visuals were pretty amazing and very exciting to go back to each room and see something new as they change often. Some of the rooms like the lantern room lineup was a solid 30 mins to get in for a quick 2 min entry allowance which sucked but the pics were kind of worth it. Definitely a lot of people so all the advertisement where you see cool pics where you're alone in a room is not possible unless you're a celebrity who gets access to the entire place. No food available inside and very limited drinks from venting machines in break rooms. All in all a nice experience I don't regret seeing.

A unique museum diving you in a digital & iconic reality. Visions, sounds, touching. Senses working simultaneously to perceive the environment. Colours and patterns shape playful illusions. Extra points for the activities for children (& not only) on the upper floor. Staff kind and smiling. WiFi.

Colorful, interactive, and the displays in each room change over time. You can easily spend at least 2 hours going through the facility which is huge in of itself. It's an Instagramer's wet dream; so many photo opportunities.

It's a top notch visual experience, it's also very kid friendly for if you travel with kids. If you in Tokyo it's a must see.

Will put every other light show/ art festival in the world to shame

Amazing! Would go again. There's an app too that I didn't find out about. Probably would have helped navigation and to know what a display could 'do'. But to be fair to self discovery was part of the joy of it. There are some displays which interact by touch -I didnt realise but our kids figured that out (good thing they didn't listen to my "don't touch!") , I recommend wearing practical shoes as there are some optional interactive parts which need sporty type shoes -there are loan shoes though. Take care entering the hanging nest especially. (Imagine climbing down into a macrame basket when very cool things are going on the walls around you.)

An unforgettable experience.
It is recommended to be there as soon as it opens to avoid to have to stand in a queue for too long.
Lockers are available on the inside, so you do not have to drag heavy bags, umbrellas etc. all along.

Spectacular exhibit. Reccomend going during off-peak hours to really lose yourself here.

This was an interesting experience and quite unusual art. It is however quite expensive and a bit of effort to get too from central tokyo districts. Would I recommend? I would to someone into graphic art, but not so much to anyone else.

The best place we visit in Tokyo ! Out of your imagination! Worth to go

Not worth the trip. $60USD cab ride from Central Tokyo, long lines, not that interesting. If you've been seen a laser light show type thing before maybe it's cool. Photos taken at exhibit are great, but in person not that impressive.

Very cool place to visit but be sure not to wear too much clothing with you if u are travelling to this place during the winter time leave your jackets or anything too warm at an rented locker you go in

THIS PLACE WAS SO MUCH FUN A DEFINITE MUST-DO IN JAPAN!!! This whole museum is experienced barefoot (ladies if you need to get that pedicure and cute polish done then do so before coming here!) They will not allow you to bring purses, fanny packs, baby strollers, or food (don't worry they do have free lockers available to you!). Also make sure you have ate, phone is charged, and if you have a baby it's probably best not to come (because you have to go through some major obstacle courses TeamLab planets is where you can bring your little one not Borderless) also another tip for the gents and ladies do not bring tight jeans (the staff will ask for you to roll them up because, you will be knee deep in water [ I am 5'6 for those wondering] ) if you pace yourself, you'll take about 1hr and 30mins. There is no time limit here, once you are in.

This amazing light art show museum was a lot bigger than I thought! I was pleased at how many different rooms there was and that they all had a different and very unique theme! WOW!

Very disappointing. Website makes it look amazing but in reality it s not at all. App doesn t do anything. Looks great for photos which the only thing people do there. Selfie town.

It's amazing! It's like being in a magical world. it is not only the different rooms with light shows, also several rooms have artificial intelligence that allows to interact with the environments. It was one of my favorite places in Japan.

A must do in Tokyo for all ages. Go early at opening.. the tea room in the museum is a nice experince

I loved my visit to teamLab Borderless! The exhibition was awe-inspiring and I am pleased to have visited to see it. Information is available in English and all facilities are well kept. The queues for some of the more specific exhibits can get quite long, but most of them seem worth the wait!

Superbly created virtual world with projectors. Reminds of things out of the Avatar world.

Very unique experience, however to avoid the insane queuing you should definitely go in the morning, preferably at open. Make sure to visit the more popular exhibits first because the lines will grow throughout the day. I cannot stress enough how important it is to go early to avoid the crowd. Otherwise a great opportunity to take some interesting photos with the interactive exhibits (-:

Awesome place, need to go with plenty of time so you can enjoy yourself, go at least twice to every room, they change over time. Don't rush your visit.

It's okay! Cute concept but it gets boring after the first two hours. Not sure it was worth it tbh

One for the art lovers. Amazing art displays made up of moving projections in dark areas. There are about three floors with a ton of rooms to explore. Unfortunately you don t get a map so navigating can be tedious. I found it was best to head to the top floor called Athletic Forest I believe. (Hard left as you first enter the exhibit through the black curtains) Then work your way down the floors. This place can get very very crowded so best to book your tickets online in advance to avoid queuing twice on the day. I would recommend getting there as early as possible too.

Extraordinary dreamlike experience. There are more than a dozen rooms with immersive activities using digital art to incorporate lighting, motion, temperature, and music in multiple rooms. I was in awe. It reminded me of how fortunate I am to be able to see so many things existing around a tiny me. Worth my money.

Loved this experience. Make sure you book tickets in advance as they sell out quickly. Allow about 3 hours to experience all the areas. Only bad part was there is no map so if you are looking for a particular area, you can end up wandering around for ages.. There are a few rooms with seats and vending machines to chill out at. There are queues for some areas such as the nest room, lamp room etc.

Had tickets and went with my 2 year old son. They make you wait in the pouring rain for more than an hour and we couldn't wait and they would not provide a date change. Absolutely unacceptable to treat customers this way. There are rules and then there is being human. Do NOT buy tickets unless you have a lot of time and willing to be treated like cattle rain hail or shine. Disgusted by this service.

You can feel and touch creativity of a variety of artists and engineers here. Please keep in mind that you had better purchase your ticket in advance online, and it is highly possible for you to wait over an hour to enter.

Wonderful exposure with amazing light projections in dark surroundings. An experience not to be missed in every environment. Highlight for the rain of leds in a mirrored environment at 360 degrees. There is no picture that can show the thrill of living every moment inside it.

INCREDIBLE! Digital art at its finest. Absolutely breathtaking. Mark your own adventure and walk through the museum like never before. No images could give this museum justice. Highly recommend going.

Absolutely fantastic experience. A bit on the pricey side but I was happy with what we got to see and do.
The animation and sound design of the exhibits are so well choreographed, they're just beautiful and there are lots of amazing photo opportunities. Take a good camera if you can.

take your money elsewhere. find real tokyo settings to take pictures of. They do a terrible job at crowd control and lines are so long. You re pretty much paying $32 to lean against a wall the whole time or take photos of the floor. Rather spend my money on ramen. Here are some photos I did get though in this tourist trap. the lantern exhibit was closed and they didn t mention this to the guests at the ticket booth. shady.

I planned for three hours and could have stayed longer. Perpetually unique, stunning, selfie heaven, and so beautiful you'll cry.

This place was amazing. It was an experience I will never forget. All the exhibits were unique and extremely beautiful! Plan lots of time to enjoy the museum and take tons of photos. This place was truly one of a kind. The only downside is some attractions had a line and some of the wait times were an hour or more. The non like attractions were still amazing and if you wait for a free stations it honestly isn't that bad!

Amazing vivid and colourful pieces if artworks, pre booking tickets is quite fast to get in, many buildings with different live art .

Very good but way too many people...you need at least 3 hours and up... Apparently they have this in different cities like in guangzhou too.

One of the most fun days of our trip. It does get crowded but that doesn t take away from the experience. The music is so magical you feel like you re in a daze and the interactive installations make it all the more interesting. Where there are lines, they move quickly and you never have to wait as long as projected on the signs. Definitely worth seeing!!! Make sure you touch the installations and see how they transform!!! My partner and I spent a solid 3-4 hours there. Try to find the hidden rooms and try not to walk into a solid wall. Don t just come for the gram, immerse yourself in the artwork.

I the laser/light show room was an absolute kick. Probably my fav despite the smoke and coughing that ensued.

We went on a weekday and I found this place far to crowded to enjoy. The exhibits are very beautiful but I found it almost impossible to appreciate through the extremely heavy crowds. We lined up for an hour to get in and once inside some main exhibits like the lantern room had a further 40 minute wait. For me it was not worth the money as the hectic atmosphere ruined any of the beauty the exhibits delivered.

Too much people for this place, overcrowded on weekends. A lot of unnaturally bright colours, but good experience overall. Special attention to the Light room with projectors, it's pretty nice. Worth visiting if come to opening (10 AM).

Wow does not even describe this place! A total overwhelming of the senses.. room after room of stimulation. Hard to find entry, but just head to the Ferris wheel. Place can get busy, so try to arrive early. Rail station is close. And it is great for kids!
