Amazing experience and a crowd pleaser. Despite the huge line to get in it wasn t too crowded on a weekday morning and the exhibits were breathtaking. Highly recommend going early. Waits were not long at all (the exception being the floating nest - 1hr wait).

Fantastic digital art exhibit. Lots of different rooms with different effects still can't believe we spent almost 6 hours. My advice is to do the main attractions early before the lines get long. The latern room and the LED lights were More

Words cannot describe how cool this place is. A surreal journey through light and sound, shadow and light interplay to form a dream-like theater of abstract forms using familiar shapes. The line is long, but it moves fast. The pictures and videos online do the firsthand experience little justice, must go if you are in Tokyo!

I can't expressed my feeling. The first things in my thought was "how should I start?"

This one is extremely great and wonderful and worth all the penny spent. I recommend everyone to come and enjoy.

I would rate this place 3.5 stars. It is nice to see but taking pictures is challenging if you use mobile phones like me. Mostly can capture the display but not so with people. Coz it's dark. Some part you may queue for half an hour, but for just a 5 mins photo taking at the display. Don't go on weekend! Crowded. There are lockets to put your bag so you can walk around comfortably. Nice for a one time experience but not so for revisiting.

It has a ton of mind blowing exhibits and extremely well done, technically incredible setups. Loved it and spent the whole day. Ton of great things for all ages. There are physically activity involved sets too.

Amazing place. It far exceeded my expectations. This place is a huge maze with plenty to discover. A lot of amazing experiences to be had here. It can get very very crowded so decided on your visit time and give yourself plenty of time to explore. We spent over 3 hours inside.

Truly an amazing intersection of art and tech. Best enjoyed if it isn't teeming with people. Avoid the crowds, go on a weekday morning. Oh and wear comfortable shoes; you're gonna be doing a lot of walking.

What a stunning place! I've been to the Art museum in Singapore which was amazing, but the one in Odaiba Tokyo is just more unique and alot better in my opinion. Really loved having a stroll in this colorful space with my family. Was lots of fun!

CHILDREN UNFRIENDLY - Trolley for our 8months (9kg) daughter was not allowed inside. When we bought tikets online that was not adviced. During the visit there were 3 queues (each one of 20minutes) and there were no seats so one of us could wait with the baby while the other was doing the queue. I tried to sit on the floor and a staff member came to tell me that was not . I explained her and her superior that 20minutes holding the baby besides the rest of the visit would hurt my back, they told me if I wanted to get in I should wait each line holding my 9kg baby the whole time. So I couldn't visit the whole museum though I payed for it. Every other place we have been in Japan we have received help for these kind of things (even having the trolley). We wont recommend this museum as that was not well managed by the teamlab borderless staff. They should have cared about it. I payed for things I couldn t visit cause I choosed my health over it.

Incredible gallery full of captivating digital art. Quite possible to lose yourself for hours inside this exhibit. Walking distance to other attractions such as an Edo-period themed Onsen and the multi level gaming placing Joypolis; a day trip to this area is guaranteed to entertain.

If you like moving art then this place is for you taking pictures is allowed but no flashes and to tell you sometimes the pictures dont turn out nice because its to dark inside the only place there that you can get better pictures is the one with the lantern hanging because the place is a little bit lighted

Beautiful colors, many rooms with many things you can see, I love how you never get bored because there's always a different show when you come back again to the same rooms, when you go to the entrance you do wait 30 minutes or so but you can wait and it's worth it, this place is definitely good for families and couples.

If you love light shows, you will love this light museum. It s walkable from the fundamentals statue in Odaiba. It has a lot of different rooms with different lighting set up. Some exhibits are also interactive. There are couple of rooms you may need to line up for, depending on the time you here.

After visiting teamlab borderless, I want to buy an EPSON projector!
The interactive art is awesome.
The visual, the music and the light are outstanding.
It was crowded so I didn t get to experience every section to the fullest.

A must see if you want a great audio and visual experience, some fairly long ques for some of the exhibits so I would try get there early. Kids seemed to enjoy it aswell so something for everyone. I would allow min 2 hours to see this.

A-maze-ing! Be prepared to take your breath away. It was so beautiful. It was most popular that the wait could take an hour for specific displays. Take your time to absorb the beauty and splendour of mirrors and lights. Excellent. It was majestic.

Honestly, I expected a better experience. A very creative space which you need to try to understand how you can interact with to fully enjoy( you can make butterflies that enter the exhibit by standing still in the butterfly room!) . Sadly, the line was very long and to enjoy some parts of it, like the forest of lamps, was a long wait just to spend 5 minutes in the room. Hard to take photos as everyone is and are literally in your way every space you turn (which is a testament to its popularity). Worth the visit but please keep your patience handy.

One of my favourite experiences in Tokyo, well worth the ticket price.

We went on Friday evening 6-8:30pm and it was quite busy, given it s after working hours. The exhibition was quite spacious so plenty of space to walk and enjoy for hours, however could be pretty hard to get pictures without anyone else in the frame. We had a great time regardless as the visions, the music and the ambience was spectacular!

Remember to wear snickers as there is quite a lot of walking around and the upper room has uneven floors. They do allow free rentals of sneakers. A kid-focuses zone is also included, where kids jump on trampoline, draw pictures of lizards and butterflies which then get scanned and appear on the floor! It was magical.

Super recommend - do come on a weekday before 5pm for a fuller experience if you can!

An amazing experience. Well worth the wait: an incredibly ambitious and each new art exhibition. Digital not for the sake of being modern but really using and creating a new medium and a new art form. It's big and it's rich. Quite amazing and super kid friendly as well - incredibly rare for an art show

Really incredible experience. Kinda reminded me of Mew Wolf in Santa Fe New Mexico. Not your average museum, it is an experience you don't want to miss. Make sure you have plenty of time and comfortabl shoes. We were there for a couple hours and wish we had more time to explore. It is also Kid friendly.

The place is very busy even on weekdays because of the tourists. They make up about 80% of the atendees. Once you stand in the main line you will go up and queue up again and again. The hanging lamp room queue took about 30 minutes.

This would have to be my favourite museum/exhibition of all time. I really could have spent all day there and it's truly a wondrous experience. I'd definitely say to set aside a day to check this out with some other surrounding attractions in Odaiba but as a reference I spent a good four hours in there. Definitely want to go back.

Came here after visiting teamLab Planets and I was not disappointed. I m giving it one less star because it was too crowded, and there were some queues that just weren t worth the wait. Also, because there wasn t one linear path like Planets, it didn t feel as immersive.

A must see when your in Tokyo. The exhibits are amazing it's a very unique experience. The 'borderless'experience is really interesting but you start to feel a bit lost not knowing how to ensure you are experiencing everything before leaving.

TeamLabs borderless only cares about selling tickets to thousands of people with no caps or sell outs and had a ZERO refund policy forcing customers to wait in a 5 hour line outside or waste their $30+ much better less crowded at TeamLabs Planets.

Don't be fooled by the professionally taken pictures.
+ The place is enjoyable as long as you allow yourself to be entertained by the lights, just become a kid again.
- Gets crowded. Book tickets beforehand and try to reserve a few hours to enjoy everything as queues can get long. Best to go during the off-season.

Amazing museum. The sketch to digital art concept is THE BEST. In the athletic forest section, near the corner of the hills, there are people drawing on tables. You can color in a bird, reptile, or insect, and you bring it to be scanned. Your creation will be in the ecosystem that you see on the ground!! There's also a lily digital art place that is gorgeous.

This is worth the entrance fee. The visuals are breathtaking and simply looking at pictures is not the same. They rush you in some areas like the hanging light room, but you can honestly spend hours getting lost in here (I spent over half a day here).

Nice display and can be great except they kicked us out before we can see the colors and enjoy the full beauty. We were there the lamps were all one dull color so we did not even take one pic and after few minutes they clicked us out. For the money I paid going to this place I would expect more.

Absolutely stunning. You could spend hours in here and never see the same thing twice. FYI, there are bathrooms and vending machines with water inside. Best art installation I've ever seen, and the interactivity is mind blowing

The cheaper 6pm tickets are pretty intense. There's a lot of people and its a bit overwhelming.
The exhibits are amazing, but a bit disorienting. Deffinately a good place to visit, but maybe go really early and hit all the major exhibits first. Otherwise, lots of waiting in line x)

Good for a family 1/2 day trip in Tokyo. My youngest child who is 7 had fun in the athletics area. Don t expect a full immersive experience; the spaces are cleverly made to seem larger with lots of mirrors. In most areas the ideas are replicated with different lights / objects.

Pretty awesome place. The art is amazing and interactive. Be prepared... It's a major tourist attraction, therefore, very crowded. You can easily spend an entire day there if you're up for it. There are that many areas to play around in and the lines are that long. Worth going though.
Once you exit the train station, turn to the left and stay to the right. You will walk through the 'car' showplace. On the other side is the entrance to Borderless. If possible, it's best to buy your ticket ahead of time. If not, you'll be in a line to buy tickets before to start on the line to enter. Most, if not all, staff speak English.
Overall definitely worth it!

One of the coolest, mind blowing, exhibitions I have ever been for the longest time - teamLab Borderless. Highly recommended, totally a "must see"!

Also in the same area, you can see a full sized Gundam, besides a reduced size Statue of Liberty, besides an oversized Ferris Wheel. "Only in Japan!" #art #modernart

Magical experience! It's a huge space and you will keep walking so go with comfortable shoes. We lined up about one hour to go in (and it was a rainy Monday afternoon!)and lockers will full so had to bring all our stuff. You should probably keep your big things in other lockers around Odaiba.
You can eat and drink inside in the rest areas, so only take something to drink and a portable phone charger with you.
There is no map and it's a big labirynth, we took the old "always go right" method and kept exploring as we went.
The lantern room is worth the queue even if you're only there for 2 mins, rush to a quiet corner and take tons of pics!
It's supposed to be kids friendly but the whole thing is very dark so lots of kids were crying..

Awesome awesome awesome place! There's so much to experience that I spent about 3 hours in this place. The photos speak for themselves but there are much much more.

You can buy ticket online (it's in English) to save you time from queueing and disappointment. Wear pants as some rooms have mirrored floor.

Tips: bring a snack bar or something small in case you are like me who enter at 10 and hungry by 12 but still want to stay in. They have rest area with vending machines. Eat and drink at these designated place only please. Don't be that tourist.

Amazing museum! You have to be there to experience what the museum has to offer. Lots of visual! My husband and I spent about 3 hours there. I recommend getting there early when they open. There are many things to do after you are done with the museum - an outlet mall, restaurants, shopping malls with many restaurant options, VR, etc. You can definitely make a whole day exploring the area.

We were here last week - it was massively popular (possibly more so the day after it was closed). Buy your tickets ahead of time and come early, if possible before opening time. It looks like a crush to get through the doors as they periodically limit the number of people entering due to the queue and cloak room but the line does move! However it is definitely worth it.

The digital installation is massive and split into 3 parts - if you want to lessen the wait time to enter Forest of Lamps go into Borderless World first. We did not go into the Floating Nest as the wait was 60 minutes...

Try to resist taking too many phone photos (and for Insta!) and be there in the moment as this is an immersive experience. Some of the exhibits were mindbogglingly gorgeous. Check behind every curtain and entrance as some of the best exhibits are not that well known.

Do note that even though the line may look shorter later in the day, it gets progressively more crowded inside, so best to come EARLY.
