Absolutely amazing! At first, I thought the price was a little high, but it looked fun, so we went for it. However, the price of admission is COMPLETELY worth it in my opinion. Exhibition is large and very spread out, so plan on spending quite a bit of time here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rest areas, restrooms, and vending machines are available for when you need a break. Completely moving and awe inspiring experience.

This is a great place to immerse yourself in amazing unique artwork. Some are interactive but can be a bit slow to react to you presence. Will take probably 2-3 hrs if you know your way around. Normally takes 3-4 hrs since you end up going through same exhibits to find ones you haven't seen before.

Really worth the visit, going here was a very unique experience. I was lucky to get to go here at a time where it wasn't terribly crowded (Friday afternoon), there was a short line to several rooms but it was max. 5 minutes. I had heard before that this place was somehow a bit overrated but that's definitely not the case, it was incredibly fun!

The art is very nice and interactive. However it always seems to be very packed. Long lines to rooms you only spend a couple minutes in. Longest wait time for us was 50mins. Definitely would put aside the better half of the day.

The teamLab Digital Art Museum could be described as the pinnacle of "meh" as low resolution art decorate the walls while the endless stream of crowds fills your peripherals. The environment is so stress inducing and busy it is impossible to find a moment of calm and achieve Zen while enjoying the art. Of all the exhibits available, only two are somewhat memorable, as the remainder is about as good as the decorated walls found in many subway halls. To make issues worse, the museum forces you to "discover" the artwork in near total darkness among a crowd of thousands. Not only so, there are certain experiences that requires an additional hour's wait for a 5 minute light show that's worse than those in the halls. No thanks, never again. For the asking price of nearly $30, this was not a worthwhile nor enjoyable experience. Spend it on a VR experience that is much more visually stunning without the limit of walls or crowds.

Not a must do. The art is wonderful and the concept is amazing but it s hard to experience when it feels like you re in the shibuya crossing in every single room. It s interesting when you ask them how many exhibits there are, because they will say there are endless rooms due to the mirrors and connected rooms. To answer your question, there is supposed to be 5-one of which is the tea room which you cannot enter unless you buy a drink. The lantern room was also unavailable when we went-this was not made aware to us prior to the tickets being purchased. everything about it is cool, but it seems the crowd control is poor and 3,200 yen pp is not worth it. The queue for one of the exhibits where you lay down and watch the stars was also >30 mins. We came on a Friday.

Terrible unless you're an Instagram junkie with a passion for low resolution artwork. Lines are long for the content. If this is your only reason for going to that part of Tokyo, please save your time and money elsewhere.

Cool concept but they tell you to explore and then jam pack the place with people so you can't really do so. Need to at least half the amount of people they let in at a time and properly mark exits.

This place was the first place I visited in Tokyo, was so excited to see this multi sensory museum and I was not disappointed. So euphoric and dreamy. The line was insanely long, but so worth the wait.

Wonderful place, really amazing! You must by the ticket on web before you go. If you think that you have the ticket and you can go in quick, you are wrong... Half an hour from the entrance! And it is same in every "atractions" inside. Better if you take with you some food, because they do not sell anything just drink! Inside there are rest areas, there is a chance to eat, in other places it is forbidden. We went there in summer, so maybe there was more people than normaly, but we spent there 3,5 hours and it was not enough to see everything because of the queuing.

It was an interesting experience. I enjoyed my time there. We went there to check on the queue at 1pm on a weekday and it was so crowded then we went at 4 it was much better. We didn t have to line up for most exhibits except for 2. Lantern lights still took 30min to queue up at 6pm! We missed out on 1 exhibit because of the closing time but in overall we saw and did almost everything. Book via the official Japanese website if you re not sure if you can make it to the museum that day because you can change the date of visit before a certain time. We booked via an agency website and our flight got cancelled and couldn t make it to the museum in time and couldn t get a refund/ change the date of visit at all. Tickets are pricey so don t risk it.

Amazing attractions in odaiba. Extremely well designed and experience was very surprising. Go with an open mind and be prepare to queue abit to get in and more popular displays. Everything inside is a design experience. One of the best latest attraction in tokyo, definitely must visit.

Way too overrated.

Way too overrated.
Nothing but lots of projectors beaming low def animation everywhere. I'm very good at being appreciative of everything in life but I just couldn't do it for this one.
Not to mentioned the need to travel all the way to Odaiba and the crowd inside.

You can get some cool effects in photos if you wear white clothes. Buy tickets online for a shorter wait time. The tea room is great! Some rooms have a long wait time like an hour or 40 minutes, but it changes through the day.

Great experience. Beautiful and unique. There's no map so we're not sure if we have missed some places. There's a long line for floating nest so once you enter, if you're able to find this better queue up first before exploring other rooms. It took us around 40 mins waiting for the nest. Wearing trainers is recommended. Don't wear loose shoes or flip flops or you'll be asked to keep your shoes in a plastic bag and go barefoot to the nest.

The waterfall room is crowded but finding space to get a nice photo is still manageable. We got there on Friday 4pm and still was crowded at the entrance but the line moved quick.

This was an awesome experience! It involved a lot of interactive photographic opportunities. I would recommend to visit in the morning and to visit during the week. On weekends it gets really busy. I would also recommend to get the tea. Remember to buy the tickets online in advance as they sell out very quickly. One of the most awesome things I saw in Tokyo!!

Very busy, high ticket price, and pictures make it look better than when you are there. We arrived at opening and were able to get some good pictures. There is no route and it is very dark inside so you can easily get lost. Make a note of all the areas before you go to make sure you see them all. Worth it none the less, great if you take children. The athletic forest is the best area.

A must see and visit when in Tokyo. Amazing to see what can be done with led's and projectors. The train goes right to the door at Aomi station. The whole precinct is excellent, big ferris wheel, Toyota exhibit, go karts and outlet mall.

Get lost and come here. This place is a blast, buy tickets ahead of time and come early. The place was packed in a rainy Tuesday morning. Try not to get lost and visit every single thing there is much to see and look at and do. Well with the time and visit.

It's not quite as interactive an experience as other reviews make it sound, but it *is* quite unique as an artistic exhibit, made better by its focus on collaborative experience. Definitely go as a group and make sure to explore the hidden rooms you'll stumble upon during your visit. Also make sure to visit the second floor (the Athletic Forest), which allows you to get substantially more involved in the fun.

One of my favourite experiences in Tokyo. Be prepared to easily spend at least two hours here. Some of the rooms have lengthy lines to get in, but they tend to move fast. The staff is pretty friendly, professional and efficient. We went into the lantern room three times, as the line was short, and we wanted to catch the colors changing.

Had an amazing time at this place. I've never seen anything quite like this. Real glad I get to experience it. All of the rooms are fabulous and unique. And there's a lot of interactive activities you'll be able to do. There's also a little tea house where you can choose a type of tea you want to drink and you can drink it while images are being projected on your cup. Photo opportunities can be difficult at times considering how crowded it can get once you're inside.

Long wait despite purchasing tickets ahead of time. Way too many people around to truly be able to enjoy, take pictures, or record clear video. Some of the rooms had really blurry images and appeared to be in a very low quality. Some of the other exhibits were very beautiful and mesmerizing. But again, way too many people to see every exhibit and difficult to truly experience the ones you were able to enter. Also, the location is wrong on Google maps; it continued to send us around the block to a side where you could not even enter the building (I'll add a suggested edit to show others the entrance).

An incredible experience! Reservation of tickets is strongly recommended. Don't be scared by a long queue in front of the entrance, as usual (in Japan) it is very well organised. The best time is shortly before closing time when it is not soo crowded anymore.

Digital art at its finest! Great place and amazing staff. Lockers are also available inside the building to keep your things from getting lost and to be able to fully immerse oneself in the digital art experience.

Place is great for taking one of a kind photos and is also an interactive museum.

Spend at least 2 hours here to maximize the experience.

Wow, Amazing, Unreal, words cant describe how cool this place is. It was ace. Whole family had fun. Floating Lanterns was my favorite display. Make sure you check this place out when you visit Tokyo.

Absolutely amazing! A true digital art experience! The staff are friendly and helpful and the artworks are spectacular! Other than that I recommend coming on weekdays since many people come to see this place and it gets quite crowded! Plus install the teamLab app! using the app you can get information on the artworks, and even control and change some of them!

It is highly recommended to purchase the ticket online in advance. You need to explore the exhibition area yourself since no map available. The whole area is quite dark. So be careful while exploring the exhibitions. Some room has a long queue; sometimes it can be up to an hour, so please plan your time accordingly. I spent almost four hours there.

Interesting place. Lamp room is best. It was crowded but people move on their own.. you hve to be smart to take good pictures. I did on a weekday.. took me 20 mins to get in. They have break rooms as well. Very close from train station.

Loved it. I attended the Teamlab borderless exhibition which was spiffy. Many rooms, interactive art and mindblowing colors. Took a million pictures !! TiP: Be sure to get your ticket in advance to avoid last minute frustration at the entrance. Also be sure to have some free time ahead of you as it can take you 3-4hours to see everything. Also i recommend to go in the morning to avoid the crowd.

Don't miss it out if you are around Tokyo. This digital art exhibition is worth the hype, that's why you need to book your tickets in advance. I'd recommend spending 3-4hours there, come with a fully charged camera, there is a lot to see and capture. In case you were not lucky to get the tickets, you can get to their sister exhibition on a bit smaller scale in Toyosu.
