Absolutely love the TLC Chinese Theatre! It's right in walking distance of where I live, plus it's in such a historic and entertaining part of town that you always get more than you bargain for.

Love it!! My first visit, heard ALL about it... I'm from New York... WHOEVER IS READING THIS GO.....There is a parking garage very nearby... Just Google that parking garages or figure another way there... I never EVER thought I would NOT see Eddie Murphy's sig there.... Or see drew Barrymore's star there either... Omg thanks to all the stars who made Hollywood possible... And God bless, I am Linda, a clean cocaine addict for alittle over 25 years...

Absolutely beautiful theatre. It was such a treat to go and see a movie here. The seats are comfortable and the screen is huge. The staff was very friendly when we visited. Buy a ticket and go see a film here!

Expensive but the quality of the IMAX is worth it for some movies. The location is a bit crowded since it s a huge tourist spot in the heart of Hollywood. I would recommend arriving early for parking and to walk through the crowd. It s a fun experience, especially if you re not from the area.

It's changed a bit over the years but the famous Hollywood landmark is worth visiting, if nothing more than, for the nostalgia. Measure your feet (and hands) against those of legends of the silver screen from the past and present.

The theatre is right in the middle of the Walk of Fame and you can't miss it as it is a tourist hub!

It is fascinating to walk around and see the hand and foot prints of so many stars but, unless you're doing the tour, you probably don't need more than 30 minutes here.

My first time going here and it was amazing. The only thing that sucks is that I had back surgery and I had to walk up the stairs, then down to get to another part of the theater, but, the movie and the screen and sounds made up for it. I was so impressed. I'm glad I got to see Ready Player One in the huge screen and in imax. They have a lot of Kool stuff in cases like movie props,( I don't know if they are real) and some Kool pictures on the walls from actors who went there. It was so mesmerizing. I want to go again. I don't know what movie I will see though :)

Put this on your bucket list if you haven't gone. U need to make time to go and check it out.

Really beautiful! It also has hand prints of stars on the side in the open area. I had no clue they actually showed movies in there too. We ended up watching one and the theatre was also good

I was completely star struck here, I admit it. To think of the Hollywood royalty that has stood here, I barely made a whisper as I stood here clicking photos, it was surreal. Just remembering that I was here as I type this.... wow. It's a special place.

One of the quintessential sight seeing locations along the Hollywood walk of fame. I have also seen a handful of films at this Cinema and the interior great hall, snack bar, and theater seating areas are all incredibly well kempt. Additionally, the Cinema s facade and embattlements catch the eye so to say. The architectural characteristics of TCL Chinese Theater are unlike anything else in close proximity, and for that reason alone it is worth a visit, even if only to gaze in wonder at the structure itself.

Came here the other night on a double-date of sorts to watch a lame action movie. Parking was easy. Reserved seating was nice. Greeted by ushers, comfy seats and plenty of leg room. I definitely intend to return here. It should be known that they definitely cater to Koreans and Ktown as a whole thusly -- select Korean films are shown here and American movies have Korean subtitles. It was a little distracting at first but I got over it quickly. The pricing of their beverages and snacks were very reasonable. Bathrooms were sooo clean. I will definitely be returning when I can.

Pretty awesome historical spot and landmark of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's fun to walk around and find the famous hand and feet print and also fun to take a photo or two with the actors out front!

I saw my first movie here in 1977 (yes it was Star Wars)and every time I come back it's just as awesome! I do have to say I've only seen movies in the main theater but thats why you come here too!

Lots of fun and a great stop off the boulevard. Make sure to go when it is light out, there is not a lot of light when the sun goes down for pictures. The theater itself is beautiful and clean. Worth the 5 stars

Great place to see a movie. Ok, it's not the easiest to get to, but the mall parking garage has plenty of spaces and validates. If you like 3D, this has the clearest and brightest 3D I've ever seen. The sounds is phenomenal, but it can be a bit too loud.

A fun visit to an iconic Hollywood landmark, even if you re not seeing a movie here.

At night, a timer projected on the huge front entrance counts down to the next projected wall show.

Accompanied with sound, the free show makes the walls come alive and is a great experience while looking at all the stars hand and footprints.

Simple rules to follow in this area - ignore anybody handing out CD s, people in costumes, and the homeless. We saw people take a CD or take a picture with a bad impersonator and they demanded money.

Awesome theater, excellent for families. Large lobby where promo events are hosted at times. Theater spaces themselves are equipped with comfortable seating. We will definitely visit again!

A little pricey, but truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Absolutely a must to watch at least one movie in Hollywood. Beware, the movie times on the website doesn t always line up with what time they are actually played. And don t be pulled into valet parking. Research the parking garages nearby that will let you comp most of your parking fee if you go see a movie here.

This is a classic tourist attraction as well as a favorite for the young Angelean. There's so much stimuli surrounding the theater that it's the perfect place to go even if you're not spending a lot of money.

Such a beautiful theater from the outside. Huge!! To be honest, the inside, kind of disappointed me. Looked like a normal theater. Thought it would be more brighter inside, with more decorative things, and thought it would just be different from all other theaters you normally see.

MX4D was worth it though. The theaters & seats looked cool. It just so happened that, "Avengers: End Game" was playing when we visited Los Angeles, and it was my brother's idea for my husband and I to visit this theater and watch this movie. Greatest idea, I must say. If any movie what is worth watching MX4D, it would be this one!

Coming here, was definitely worth at least one time, and the bonus was watching Avengers here. Definitely a cool experience.

Absolutely beautiful movie theater that has hosted many Hollywood premieres! If you love movies and you re in town, don t miss out on this gem. It s really a memorable experience for film fans.

The theater itself is very nice, but the staff was unbelievably unprofessional. The ticket seller didn t say one word when we approached her, the man at concessions sold us a $7.50 Diet Coke that was flat then didn t even apologize when I brought it back and asked for a new one, and the cleaner started sweeping around my feet when I was sitting in the lobby without so much as an excuse me . Everyone looked like they hated their lives. Save your money and go to a different theater.

It's fun to go to the Chinese theatre, but the tour is worth doing too... we got a "discount" but it might've been the regular price ($14 ea). You can see the same stuff by getting a ticket to see a movie at the theatre but you'll need to Google everything instead of having a tour guide.

Our guide was good and knew lots of neat facts about the theatre. He threw in a good bit of celebrity news and gossip as well. If you have an hour or so to spend there, take the tour and see the stars' footprints in the courtyard.

Took a rare glimpse of backstage, projection room, green rooms, Mr Grauman's private viewing box and private office overlooking the forecourt of handprints. A really nice tour of this historical place.

I highly recommend just coming here is you have tourists who want to do the starts! The footprints and signatures are here with some famous stars very close by. I don't recommend walking the stars... So many people it is dirty and takes a long time. If I had to do it over again, I would just come here!

I was lucky to have free time while on a business trip and this was the first place I visited. One cannot visit Hollywood without making this a priority stop. You are transported to a different era when you watch a movie here. Is it pricey? Yeah a little but well worth it. Dream of catching a glimpse of celebrities? This is the place to make that dream come true, not to mention the walk of fame rests just outside the entrance, so if you don't get to see a celebrity, you can at least walk in their footsteps.

I like this theatre more for the history, beauty, and nostalgia.
Is it the best screen or audio? Not by a long shot.
The screen is pretty good though, it's hard to find a terrible seat, even up front.
The audio really focused more on meds for conversation, but it also makes action scenes peaky because of it.

The most famous place for movies in the world.
Known for decades as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, it's where many Hollywood legends have their hand and footprints in cement.
The Academy Awards have been held here in the past and movie premieres are often shown in this iconic building.
Sit where the stars do.
Take a tour.
This is a must-see when in Hollywood.

We didn't do a tour of the inside but outside it was very crowded. We were also there in the lead up to the Oscars so the road was shut off and looked very scruffy but on a normal day might have been better.

This was a really cool experience for seeing a movie. The ticket was a bit pricey, but considering the venue, it was not surprising. It took me a second to realize you go right in the front door for your movie.

This was my favorite part of walking the strip in Hollywood. My kids loved the lights and glamour, I personally loved seeing the old and original Hollywood names.

The men and woman I grew up watching with my dad and it was just great to see them. My wish is that some maintenance would nice to restore some of this iconic signatures.

If you are in the LA area, the Chinese theater is a great stop. For only the price of parking you can walk around for hours being entertained by all the people and sights. The area does get crowded but its Hollywood so that is to be expected. The souvenir shops are fun and you can find some great deals. Just be respectful of the talent and the thousands of other people. You might even see a celebrity.
