This company is pretty comical. I called to ask for a tall table with a fitted cloth for an event, and they were out of stock of what I needed for this particular weekend. Which means business is good for them and they're making money, right? I asked if they could tell me the names of other rental companies in the area, as I wasn't aware of any off hand, and I was told that "She couldn't give me that information". So basically this company is so threatened by their competition, that they felt it was a good idea to NOT try to help a consumer find what they are looking for in their industry, thus assuring to lose any potential future business from said consumer, by their unwillingness to help. Talk about Very Poor customer service. That doesn't make you look like you are the only company with this product, FYI. All you accomplished was making yourself look insecure in business.

UPDATE: I was contacted by Russ from Idaho Tents and Events. His attention was brought to my original review, and he wanted to get some additional details of the events as to better their company's procedures in the future. He told me that the issue of professionalism has been addressed and these individuals no longer work with the company. As for the time delays, he did listen to my suggestions of simply reaching out to customers if there is a discrepancy for contracted agreed times, and he seemed to agree that this would be a valuable courtesy if something is out of sorts. Finally Russ offered a partial refund of our costs due to the nature of the events, which I did not request nor would I have, however will gladly accept to rectify some of the issues we had to deal with. I have since changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, as my concerns were dealt with in the only way the company reasonably could, but the original experience was still what happened and would be hesitant to rate higher as I can't confidently say this would NEVER happen to another customer, however I do see action that is being taken to better their procedures. Thanks Russ!

For my wedding this last weekend we had rented through Idaho Tents and Events for our tables, chairs, a large tent, and a dance floor. Initially we had set up for them to arrive to our chosen event location between 8 am and 10 am. They didn't show up until 10:30.The workers that showed up were quite rude to each other. I wouldn't have minded much if it would have been discreet, but the individual who was managing the set up was really condescending to his workers, and they were quite vocal back. It was evident that none of the workers wanted to be doing their job. Finally, the day after the wedding we were supposed to have items picked up between 6 - 11 am (5 hour window to hit). About 10:45 we call the after hours number to see if they're on their way. We got a call back at about 11:30 that they were just finishing a job in Star and would be on their way. Star is almost 2 hours from where our wedding was. We had no notification that they would be late (again) and we had to be proactive to contact them. We left, as we no longer saw it our responsibility for their property as they had not fulfilled their contract to pick up. If you have an event that is time sensitive, give at least 3 hours of buffer time for this company as they have zero regard for keeping their appointment and acting in a professional manner.

UPDATE: My husband and I were contacted by Russ this morning and he assured us that every step necessary was taken to assure this would not happen again and those responsible were spoken with. Russ's kind words and attention to detail has really helped with this whole experience and my husband and I will give this company another shot if we need their services again. A great leader can make all the difference, and showing that our words were heard and not just looked over has given us great appreciation for Russ.
Thanks Russ for listening and doing what was needed to make things right. You're appreciated!

ORIGINAL: Our experience started out great... We went in and met with our sales rep, picked everything out and got everything locked in. We were told we would have a delivery time between 8am and 10am The day before the wedding which was a Friday. The week of the wedding came and they sent us our final contract to go over and sign. We noticed on the delivery time there was a 6am-6pm window... 12 HOUR WINDOW! With that I called to talk about where the miscommunication had happened.. The lady on the phone said "and who am I even speaking with" once she knew I was the bride and a very unhappy one at this point she transfers me to the manager. I was told they "we're sorry about the miscommunication but they would not be able to switch around their entire schedule for one person"... fallowed with "well if you want to pay the delivery fee of $230 we can put you at the head of the deliveries." (move around the delivery times for the right price)
After about 10 min of going back and forth she then says "let me go check what time your delivery is set for" (Maybe this should have been done first) Being that we were scheduled for drop off #2. We were told an estimated time of 11am.
They showed up and 12:30 With HALF of what they needed to set everything up... We were missing HALF our order.... so what do they do.... Half the set up crew leaves with the truck to go to ANOTHER set up! Its now after 2pm and A pick up shows up with (the rest) of our order so they should be able to complete the set up right?? WRONG! Now the items they needed to continue was in the back of the truck that has left to go set up at another location.... I feel for the workers, they were clearly under staffed BUT there is no reason they should have been walking at sloths pace to set things up and sitting down multiple times. Finally the truck shows back up... They completed the set up after 7pm!!!!!!! Rehearsal was set for 7pm..... they were still there which means we were not able to set up or decorate until 8pm.... we did not complete everything till almost 1am!!!
With all that, they never once called to apologize for the delivery missing pieces mishaps... for the ALL DAY set up... They did not offer a refund on certain items to make up for said inconvenience.. NOTHING!
With all that being said... I am very hesitant to ever go through this company again!

I haven't had great experiences here as of late--t...

I haven't had great experiences here as of late--they charge almost more for a delivery than what my entire rental was going to be, and so I had to begrudgingly squish more than I wanted to in my mini-van, and take out all of the seats which really was a pain, because I didn't want to pay 100% more just for the delivery fee. On THE DAY of my event, they called in the morning to say that the kid tables I reserved had come back broken and they didn't have any to spare. Really?! For the size of their company, I find it hard to believe that they would not have more than two kids tables in their inventory. Bleh....Also, the people loading my car scratched the interior because they were going too fast, and then denied it. Not going to go back here unless it's my last and only option, and maybe not even then.
