Food on the train was cold. The food ordered off the menu was good.

We peaked at one of the sushi on train too see what s inside and staff rudely said don t do that next time and took the sushi away as if we contaminated it or something

Ubereats order: Laska is incredible, same as the beef teriyaki. I would highly recommend this place. We are usually disappointed by restaurants of this nature, but we were super glad we discovered Tao.

I had a surprising good time at Tao. I must admit I went in not expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised by the amazing food on offer. The portions are really substantial and the quality was really excellent. Got to the end of the night and was even more surprised by the very reasonable bill.

Whilst this was for a date night with my wife, this is really suitable for families and the vast menu will be sure to get even the more picky eaters something they like. The sushi train is amazing and my kids would go wild there.

Will definitely go back.

The fresh made Sushi was great, tender and juicy. However the beef Pho I had was not quite pleased.

Food was pretty good but they really need to hire more staff... at list for the weekends... I could see they poor guys running up and down with the orders....

Can't believe we nearly missed this place because of some sour online reviews. Always, ALWAYS try the place for yourself. The prices are standard for Perth to begin with so stop whinging. And you should be happy to pay it given the quality of food. It is the best sushi train we have been to here, and we've tried many. The sashimi was fantastic, so fresh. The service, despite being so super busy on a Sunday night, was friendly and prompt.

Probably my 3rd sashimi bento or sashimi plate in the space of 2 weeks and this little gem was only $22. Nice fresh sashimi, sliced thick which didn't affect the meal but the workmanship was sloppy. Delicious salad and a nice miso also.

Plenty of yummy treats on the sushi train to have also. Nice and clean restraunt andnthe waiter there is super nice and very attentive.b

Everything is fine and cost is reasonable. Staff are friendly and provide good services. Ive been here many times. However, the food quality is not as good as before. Hope the chef could have some improvement. Ive order one Vietnamese crispy chicken fried rice and soft crab sushi. The rice was hard and taste normal. The soft crab sushi plate just bad. But ya its all depends on your own food taste. The sushi train remains standard still.

Delicious food in lots of Asian varieties on the menu! Service is fast. Place is nice and big, very busy on some days so bookings may be essential. One of my favourite places in Perth for sushi train :)

When you can get the sashimi, like tuna. It is excelent.

Two stars for service and ambient. No stars for the two dishes that I have ordered. Too salty for the japanese chicken curry and way too sour for the Pad Thai. Disappointed with the food as compared to the last visit.

Came here for my birthday, and will definitely be returning. The staff are amazing. They truly make Tao a pleasant dining experience. Cheerful, very friendly, helpful, attentive, and prompt bringing the meals. They even joined my family in the Happy Birthday sing-a-long.
Highly recommend Tao Victoria Park. Lovely food, and wonderful service. Well done.

A good mix of Asian cuisine at reasonable prices with a sushi train as well.

Chicken Katsu is at its best. My partner and I went there today for lunch we are still talking about how all the food there is great!

Have been many times and this place never fails to deliver quality food and friendly service! The staff are very polite, and they serve a wide range of Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese food. The sushi train is constantly full with a wide variety. Approx price per person is $30 based upon some sushi train, a meal and drink. The staff also made our Anniversary one to remember bringing out a cake Thank you again Tao Cafe!

Variety of choices, perfect for a casual family dining.

What an incredible experience! I went here with my best friend for a little catch up and we had the most incredible time. I was seated quickly in a great location and the staff were exceptionally sweet and lovely. These are people who KNOW what they're doing. Tracey (sorry, I never caught the spelling!) was incredibly fast and efficient with taking orders and bringing them to us, all with a charming disposition and a bright, friendly smile. And Min was just as charming. He approached us to ask if we'd like any drinks, to which he made me the best Long Island Tea I could imagine.
The food was great, as always. It's to be expect from Tao, their food is always perfectly presented and delicious. The food can't be faulted.
We'll definitely be coming back, with lots of friends too!
I just really want to highlight again on Min and Tracey. Their service was impeccable and they truly made our dining experience something special.

Best Sushi in Perth. Period. A lot of delicious and creative dishes offered in the sushi train. Great ambient and great place, never disappoints.

Great fusion Asian foods for Japanese, Vietnamese with Sushi train service. Very busy Friday night. The foods are fresh and we were very enjoy the atmosphere and will be back again.

Great food. Prices could be lower and staff could be a little friendlier, though.

Nice and friendly staff. But did not really like the food. The sushi was presentable but the sushi on the sushi train don t look fresh and have bad fishy smell. Will definitely NOT come back here again.

Always a pleasure going here. You are able to order from the menu, or pick from the sushi train. You are able to order the items on the train in larger quantities, so if you find something you like you can have an entire plate of it :)
The desert options are great too, you can see them as you walk in and your mouth already starts to water.

Overall a great place, I go here whenever I want to show off a good sushi train in Perth.

A pricey and mediocre sushi train (even at peak hours!) makes this a no-go for me. With how much of the restaurant it crawls through I really expected more from it.

Tried an array of dishes from the sushi train and menu including desserts, its pretty good and the staff are attentive.

I've been here many times for family birthdays and love it. The ambience is great, the staff are so friendly and lovely and the food is always spot on. Vegan options available. Always a pleasant experience.

Go here all the time with the wife and kids and it is great, really affordable and delicious. The staff are all friendly and not pushy.

We got three different types of desserts from the fridge, caramel cheesecake, chocolate mousse and another one of which name I don't remember. They were all neither tasty nor fresh at all. We just wasted around 18 bucks!

Saw lots of 1 star reviews before going in but tot give it a try. ITs ok! Definitely not 1 star but the sushi quality was really bad.

If you love oriental food this is the place I would suggest.

My first time "Good Service" order a "Thai Beef Salad" it was nothing looks or tast like a Thai Beef salad. It was stir fry beef on a plate with bit of green on the side with lots of watery liquid on the plate. Absolutely no tast , I paid $19.50 for nothing. pretty disappointing .:-((

Huge sushi train with a great selection of food. Great prices and really friendly service. Always a pleasure dining here. Also a great range of other meals to order for people that don't fancy sushi. Always clean and tidy.

Sushi was good. The gyoza was $10 for 5 pieces which totalled the size of a bank card.

Average sushi always at room temp, lacking any kind of fresh feeling. Incredibly inattentive staff. Don't expect to ever be offered a drink. Particularly expensive for sushi train.

Worst of the worst!!! all the cakes, pies, tarts and even macaroon on the sushi train! Not worth the money. Will never go back.

The food is mostly good and there is a large selection on the sushi train. Some items were not fresh and it's a little pricey but not exorbitant. The service was great.

Worst lunchtime experience ever! We ordered 3 noodle dishes and 30 mins later I asked a waitress "how much longer do we need to wait " she said the dishes were coming but 15 mins later the waitress came back asking what dishes have we ordered! They didn't even put the order in and lied! The worst part was the manager didn't know nothing about what happened! We waisted an hour waiting for the dishes which wasn't even in and the wait staff lied it's coming!! When I complained to the manager he just said sorry that was it, I don't want to give them a star at all cause they don't deserve it! Totally waisted Sunday afternoon!

We went on Sunday morning. It was not busy. Like the ample space. Food is ok, many to choose from.

Good variety of sushi train dishes to pick from. The mains are served quickly with a large choice. Had to visit on two separate occasions with no bad comments. Would love to try each dish once. Great to experiance this place with group of friends to taste variety of dishes.

Excellent portion sizes, friendly staff. They completely redid an order for us, due to my crustacean allergy. Definitely coming back

service can be hit and miss. We go different week nights and It's been our go to place for a night out or a family birthday celebration for a couple of years. We going again tonight

Great place for a reasonably priced meal. teriyaki chicken, chicken noodle soup, cashew chicken, pho are all great dishes.

Have had very good meals here. However, today was not one of them!
