Alexis is amazing! She's the only person I have ever fully trusted with my hair. I had always refused to put color in my hair but with alexis I decided to add blonde and absolutely love it. She is amazing at what she does and I always recommend her to everyone I can.

Have been a client for many years. Occasionally, I will try another salon, but always come right back. I find the staff to be extremely friendly. Although my person to go to is Martha, I would not hesitate to have any of the other stylists work on my hair if she were not available. If I had any complaint at all, it would be the temperature in the facility. It is usually a little chilly especially if sitting with a wet head. I try to remember that when I go to my appointment and throw on an extra sweatshirt.
I am always getting complements about the color of my hair. This is the best color I have ever had. I have moved around the country quite a bit for work and this is by far my favorite salon. Tammy does my hair, but from what I have seen all of the stylists do a grewt job. I highly recommend this salon.
I've been going there for over 10 years and would never consider having my hair cut anyplace else. Every now and again I look at the pictures of how my hair used to look before I became a Steven Edwards customer and how it looks now and I know I am going to the right place. The staff are all fantastic and I get a perfect haircut every time. This is a great place for men to go too!

I am a very big fan of Shantay and Steve at Stephen Edwards (and my girl Jodi). I am a long term client (15+ years). Many people compliment me on my highlights and cut and I provide referrals whenever I can. I love the product recommendations and I always feel great when I am there and when I leave. Atmostphere is comfortable and friendly. My 17 year old son now goes as well and refuses to go anywhere else!

Was scheduled for a cut and high/low lights. Showed the woman a picture of what I wanted (the SAME thing I had done the last time I was there). She proceeded to do almost ALL low lights, making my hair almost completely copper, when I had asked for blonde. When I told her I wasn't happy, she blamed me saying it would have been lighter if I had come in more often....interesting statement seeing as though the highlights that were done were the exact color I wanted. People were nice enough to help out to get it redone, but I was there for almost five hours, left with a burning scalp (my guess is the two hours the color was left on the second time wasn't exactly good for it) and was charged $170. Was never given an itemized receipt, but have NEVER paid that much at this salon or elsewhere. Reached out to management the next day to speak with them (my scalp was STILL burning) and was told someone would call. They never did. Poor service, clearly overpriced for what you get, and TERRIBLE follow through from management. Avoid the waste of time and money and go elsewhere.
It s in an odd spot in New Berlin but thats the only negative I could give. My cut and color never disappoints- Martha is fantastic. My daughters would get their updoes for homecoming and prom done and they were always gorgeous. I have been going here for at least 10 years and almost all the same hairstylists are still there- that s saying something!

Nice people and they do AMAZING WORK for fair salon/coloring/ADVANCED colors(coloring) and have the constantly kept up/continued education to know the precise, very BEST way to both make your hair transform into ITS VERY BEST condition! Celebrity styles & colors aren't too difficult or problems for THIS team-they're not called a "Color Group" for nothing! Be realistic-if your skin/NATURAL hair color is like a Kim Kardashian, NO colorist can do what her ultra-expensive team of wig & extension specialists can ever do (nor change back from pearlized platinum white-grey to a shiny, smooth deep black(!) within mere hours. A magician would be more up that alley (and/or tens of millions of dollars of "net worth"). Best place to go to for flexible hours, industry well-educated, kind, honest and fair talents...and this is written by my VERY hair-discerning, often picky yet just currently, NOT even CLOSE to high salary-earning/rich wife...but who appreciates and even expects high quality talent and excellent work-having lived/worked in and had color/cuts & blowouts done in also BOTH New York City(Manhattan proper!) AND Chicago Gold Coast! 5-stars! Fyi...they also do additl services such as facials.
Chicken soup is delicious...food has been hit or miss depending on what you order. Portions are gracious.
I went and saw Steve G. at the recommendation of a friend. I was just looking to do something different with my hair after being in a routine for the last few years. Steve assessed my hair, face and head shape then promptly made several suggestions. I was so impressed with his professionalism and confidence that I trusted him to do what he felt would work the best based on his assessment. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Clearly he is a very experienced and skilled professional.
I have never had my hair done at Steven Edwards, but I have had several facials and eyebrow wax by Melanie. Melanie is outstanding and I have recommended her to several of my friends. When you have a facial by Melanie it is like a whole-body experience, because in addition she massages your neck, shoulders, arms, hands, feet, and legs. When I depart I feel like a noodle!. My friends have had the same positive experience that I have had.

My new favorite salon! Mindy is amazing! I have really thick curly hair and am always nervous someone is going to misinterpret my curls and chop them off. She took her time with me consulting and did an amazing job! My mom has been going to her for a couple of years and she always looks gorgeous!
I have two friends that recommended me here and I think it s the best decision I ve ever made! I went for a complete color swap from blonde to brunette as well as a cut. I don t know much about hair, so I left my faith in Mindy and left very pleased. I let her pick out the shade of brown she thinks would fit best and was fed compliments by some of the other stylists which made a girl feel GREAT! My hair feels healthy again and that makes me happy! She even had me return two weeks later for a toner touch up free of charge, just in case it didn t turn out quite how I had liked it. The follow up was great; she even tried a new product on me that left my hair with that commercial shine! I highly recommend this location, as well as Mindy as a stylist! Go go go!
Super friendly staff! Warm feeling right when you walk in the door.You can tell the staff works as a team! Customer serviced is soo important and they have got it down! My color and cut are always AWESOME! I get soo many compliments and I always have to carry extra business cards!! I've seen many of the stylists and they all have done great work!!

You don't feel like a number in a sterile salon like some of the others around. I am just so pleased with how beautifully Shantay colored my hair. She was patient with my indecisiveness during our consult and helped explain a process I was thinking about. She also gave me the best shaping in a haircut that I've had in 2 years! She is very talented and I'm so grateful I found her. The salon is also comfortable and friendly.

Tiffany from Steven Edwards SAVED my hair - I had experienced a bad (really really bad - something awful) hair cut from another salon ... I needed someone who would listen and advise and do what was right for my hair. She has helped me grow out the bad cut and look good along the way.
