The Korean wings appetizer is THEE BEST ever, and I also love the selection of brews to choose from. My waiter was very good at explaining strength and flavors. And I love that you can even get beer to go!
When I ate a meal with a friend at a table with my friend, & ordered the same meal as I had at the bar, the sandwich was not nearly as good.

We ate here the other day. It was delicious! Maybe a little more hipster then I like but all in all a wonderful place to eat. I had the house IPA it was perfect not to hoppy I would say just hoppy enough. I highly recommend the IPA and the Tap House!

A group of us dined here with our out of town family. The food was delicious as were the cocktails. Everyone really enjoyed this place. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. This will definitely be a new favorite for my family to dine.

Be careful when you go to Taphouse - it can get very busy. However, they do have several areas that are drinks and appetizers only and are self-seated, so you needn't wait if you don't want to. The atmosphere is incredible! There are several different areas, including a rooftop bar where you can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the downtown area. I thought the food was very good when we went, if a bit overpriced. I ordered the roasted vegetable quinoa and my husband ordered the Cuban, and we thoroughly enjoyed both dishes. Can't wait to go back and try the quail!
Beers and rooftop patio were great, but their namesake Tallgrass burger was not good.

Burger was good. My wife tried one of the fruity brews and she loved the Kansas Beer tshirts. As for me I found it to be a over fancy over priced burger. The other food on the menu sounded good. Mostly wasn't my thing. I'd prefer more casual for that type of menu. Or a different menu for that type of venue. I hope that didnt sound like a complaint cause I really had nothing to complain about.
This bar is the best bar in town. Period. They rotate out different beers on tap so dont get attached. The staff takes the time to learn regular customer's names which is really cool given how busy it can get here.
The food is absolutely phenomenal, however the IPAs that I tasted tonight were not all that great.

The grub here is GOOOOD! I love their burgers and the atmosphere is perfect for a tap house. The beer is okay, some better than others. I think they have a new master brewer and are working on changing things up.
Some dishes here at tap House aren't my favorite however the burger I had tonight and the putain was very good. Everything was fresh and hot when it arrived, and the server was excellent.
I had the fish and chips and they were crispy and delicious! It was a good sized portion, as well. I thought the prices were reasonable and the atmosphere is intimate and cool with the low lighting and architectural features. I'd eat here again.

TallGrass Tap house is one of Manhattans treasures. They have delicious food, great beer, kind/attentive wait staff and an atmosphere of cool but hometown fun. This has been a once a week restaurant for me and my wife since we moved here in 2019 and I can see us continuing that trend until we die or move away. Do yourself a favor go to the tap house

The beer here is fantastic: great variety, great taste, good gastropub/taphouse feel. Every time we go, the place is buzzing and the atmosphere is great.
The food is very hit-or-miss. The menu looks great, but some of the dishes arrive mediocre. Sometimes the food is cold -- the fries are always cold and chewy -- and sometimes it is hot and fresh. I recommend the mac-and-cheese because it has been the most consistently good, and stay away from anything fried.

Excellent beer, excellent cocktails, fit and finish of establishment also excellent; I had the fried chicken sandwich, which I enjoyed, but was flawed in one way: the bun, remoulade, pickles and slaw were perfect. It was the piece of chicken breast itself that was the problem. Not bad, just not five stars. When things are really good, weak links stand out. Highly recommended. I ll be back.

My experience here is always top notch! The establishment itself is ALWAYS clean which you notice the moment you walk in the door. The service is always spectacular and the servers always have the best drink/beer recommendations. The prices are a bit on the higher side but the portions are adjusted to match and I always end up leaving a little too full (and a little drunk too). We visited again the night before last (our 2nd visit in one week) and was offered the chef's special which was outstanding and extremely delicious! The menu items are uniquely crafted into full flavored dishes that satisfy your tastebuds. Everything about the experience at Tap House exceeds expectations and adds to the reasons that I love eating here!

Walked in and got seated promptly. Service was good and wait staff was attentive. Meals were tasty and still hot when served. Would like to see a place like this have a little more selection on the menu but everything we had was good.

My husband loves their fried chicken sandwich. Their seasoned fries are so good, they don't need sauce. The ambiance is well thought out. This is our new favorite spot. Compliments to the chef. The flavors just burst in your mouth. No really though... Manhattan needs *more* authentic Korean food.
Love the beer, and the experimental kitchen! They care about the final product and it shows! Always get the special of the week it is never a let down. Friendly servers and really good cold beer, what else do ya need?
Amanda, Events Coordinator, is fantastic! She has scheduled our events with professionalism and I like her composure. Even when I was undecided and getting closer to the event date, she continued checking in with me, and staying on top of it. Great customer skills and very knowledgeable.

Beer is great, menu is weird as heck. They need to rethink the food they offer though. Didn't really know what half of the things on the menu were. We ordered a couple beers and an appetizer and left.
We were sat and told "Katie will be right with you". Ten minutes later a male server came up to greet us. I guess he was our server for the rest of the night but it was hard to tell because I only saw him at our table two more times. Once when my water had sat empty for 5 minutes or so. The other was when it was time to pay. I paid in cash. He owed me $13.59 in change and only brought me $13.00 back. If you are going to do that you better at least round up....I didn't see a manager all night or I would have complained at the time. This place needs to get it together.

Excellent beer, on tap or otherwise. My husband and I have tried several of their canned selection, but decided to stop while driving through Manhattan. Amazingly delicious food, great service, a little $$, but definitely worth every penny! Go in for the beer, but stay for the food!

This was one of our only options to eat on a Sunday night and we we're glad to have found it! The beer was good as was the food. The poutine is HUGE, definitely split that. I ordered it for myself and couldn't finish a quarter of it.
First I ordered the poutine fries. For some reason they were drenched in sour cream and soggy. I still can't fathom why anyone would ever do that. The menu looked adventurous and interesting however when I tried ordering an entree, everything I wanted to try was unavailable. It's almost as if the owner spent all his time and energy on the atmosphere of the place (which is nice) and none on the kitchen. Also, the beer I had tasted sour. I can't imagine how they will function once the students get back.
I highly recommend the mac and cheese! Their beer selection is wonderful and there's something to pair well with whatever your dinner plate is.
