Buffalo Sweat #1. Food and service has always been superb. Moderately priced.

This is one of our favorite places to eat and drink in Manhattan. The service is normally good as well but the beer is always yummy and it's nice to get a growler to go!

Absolutley THE BEST appetizers. Me and my friends come here often to just enjoy each other's company... and the great selection of drinks, lol.

I love, LOVE, Tallgrass Taphouse. They have great beer, fabulous food, fun weekly specials, and pretty good service too!

Great beers, cool atmosphere, and the food will keep you here drinking more. The roof top bar is a very nice change of pace or those looking for a little bit of a more romantic spot. Happy hour is from 4-6 M-F on some of their in house beers that will cost you $3 each.

I had Korean Chicken and it was really great. Taste almost same as one Korean chicken recipe and enjoyed a lot. Salad is good portion and fresh. I had raspberry jam beer and it was sweet to me. They changed menu recently and their service is very fast and nice

Beers are great, but the menu is a little odd for a gastropub. Tries to be slightly upscale. But other than the simple burger, I struggle to find something I really like.

There's a reason this has been voted the #1 beer pub in KS. Great beer, great atmosphere, great food and a great roof top bar. So many great beers it's hard to recommend just one, but I love their sours!

The beer selection is killer, the building is killer, but the food is meh and overpriced.

The service was great and the food and drinks are even better! There wasn't a thing I didn't like, and the gochujang BBQ was really good. Easily one of my favorite places I've been to in Manhattan.

Food was awful and made me throw up the next day. Shortly after leaving I had extreme intestine cramps and we all know what comes next. Yep, not a fun night after eating their extremely greasy food. The wait staff was friendly and nice, the food took almost an hour to get to our table though! How is this possible with it being cooked in so much grease??? I thought their beer was pretty good, but didn't have more than a sip due to how the food was reacting with my stomach. Try at your own risk, the experience might be better for you. Keep a roll of tp in your car just in case though!

I ve eaten here several times and always come away with the same conclusions: the beer is awesome, the food is overpriced, and the service is mediocre at best.

Very nice. 3 stories with top floor outside when weather is nice. They make their own beer there. Good food.

The taphouse is a friendly place to have an excellent glass of beer. The in house beer changes frequently and every one of them are very good. The wait staff is friendly and on their game.

The beer was wonderful! The bartenders were hopping! The food was too spicy, but delicious!

I have been here a couple of times. It was on off nights so no wait either time. The food is very good though a bit pricey. The beer is very good and the main thing that I went for the first time. Service was fine.

Everything is good! The food, the craft beers, the atmosphere, and especially the rooftop dining! On my most recent visit, I had one of their super tasty (and huge!) burgers. One burger is plenty to share, but if you're like me, you love having those extra leftovers to take home for lunch the next day. The service was timely and our waiter was very helpful when we asked for suggestions regarding the drink menu. My stout was delicious, and all five of us left satisfied!

The menu doesn't have anything for the calorie-conscious, but the food is good and the ambiance is cool. My husband liked the whiskey ale and I enjoyed the draught root beer.

The steak I had here was disgusting. I ordered a ribeye and it was a fatty, rubbery piece of meat that I could not even eat half of. There was no sear or crust on the outside like they had no idea how to cook it. However, the parmesan fries that came with it were good. They are a unique shape and have a nice crunch.

Been here three times and all three times were outstanding. Waitresses were super nice and jocular. Food was very good and if you like beer there is a variety to chose from. I ll always save a supper to eat here whenever I am in town.

So many beers and so little time. I recommend the flights and a designated driver! I was on a business trip and this place was highly recommended. Social distancing was great. Cleanliness was great. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was awesome. I had an all around great experience here. Highly recommended. My favorite was a Free State Brewing Company Oatmeal Stout. Great flavor!

Great bear selection. The food is dramatically better when compared to it first opening. The prices are a little expensive for the food. Slightly more than Applebee's prices.

Good food, good service, great beer. A little pricey, but overall a nice experience. Also open later than most restaurants, and better food than most bars. I recommend it.

The crab/chorizo dip was great. Very cold inside when we visited, bring a sweater!

Good brewery in the middle of Manhattan. My favorite is Top Rope IPA. Even though I far prefer Free State Brewery (and being a KU grad and fan), I will give some credit to Tallgrass for having good beers.

We stopped in Manhattan on the way back from Colorado.
I had been to the Tallgrass Taphouse once before and had been trying to get the gf to go with me. It's a 3 hour drive for us; so it took 30 mph KS crosswinds for us to actually make it here.

She loved it. She kept comparing it to places she'd been on the west coast. She loved it so much, we went back the next day for lunch. I don't know how it compares to the west coast, but it's as cool as anything you'll find in KC.

The wine selection is slim, but she was happy enough with hers. The beer selection is a good mix of house brews and guest brews. The menu is short, but interesting.

We sat on the rooftop seating. The music was chill and a good compliment to our evening and afternoon.

Food was delightful. We had salmon blt, tap mac, & ale cheddar soup. Place was nice, you can tell everyone is trying to deal with getting back open & social distancing. Which put a damper on the experience. But overall I' go back

Our waitress was good. Sat at a corner table, wait staff didn't give much room between us and turning the corner. Ordered 2 burgers, one was cook while the other one was in pieces and not cooked completely. Our experience was not worth the price we paid.

We were seated for twenty minutes without being offered drinks or even brought water. A party came in just after us and was still waiting for the host when we decided to leave. Have been wanting to try out the Tall Grass Tap House for some time, that urge is gone now. Was really wanting son and daughter in law to miss living in the Manhattan area, they said they couldn't wait to get back to Orange County, CA.

I've had great customer service here. Tiffany has been a great bartender each time I've visted. Very laid back, great for a relaxed group meet up or a relaxing night to watch a game. I recommend going to the back, it's not as busy as the main restaurant area. The food has been average, I wouldn't say spectacular or recommend a particular dish. It's bar food with a bit of an upgrade and unique dishes. I'm basing my 4 stars on great service and atmosphere.

Such a great place. Outstanding beer, great food, and great events regularly lined up.

Excellent food and service. The floor plan is an open concept so the conversation noise is a little louder than say your average Olive Garden, but it is amazing with all the bright tanks that hold their in house craft beers. The appetizer were all amazingly delicious and the selection ranged between Korean, cajun, traditional pub and some fusion dishes. Definitely will return if I have the opportunity. They do also offer moderately sized private rooms for events.

Great atmosphere! I always get the fried chicken sandwich and it's really good. They also have good burgers and mac and cheese. If you're a root beer fan, definitely get one. They brew it in house!

8 bit. Taphouse is a local favorite. Its usually always busy and the food is always good. My favorite part is the food is what your normally find but with a twist. Drinks are great. Service is always great.

Their rooftop bar is nice, esp in a mid-october breezy but not too cold weather. Tried their Moskow mule cocktail, cute cup, strong lemon and ginger flavor and my friend and I loooooved it... my friend's friends enjoyed their fries too. Friendly staff

We came here because of the great reviews. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. A medium burger came out much closer to rare. Another burger had a hair on it. We never received our appetizer, overall it was a very disappointing experience including the service. The 2 stars are only for the quality of the beer which was good.

Everything about this place was fantastic. The service is great. I was brought the wrong food item, but it was quickly replaced and I was quite happy. I would 100% recommend the Tap House for good food and good service.

Want to go back and try more of their food. Definitely more of an upscale food, gourmet I would say. The beer is wonderful and you can get a growler to go my wife had a corn dog but it was best corn dog I've ever eaten and I got a chimichurri steak that was cooked perfectly everything was delicious about this place. Can't wait to go back.

I was at the old warehouse tasting too. In 2014. Tallgrass has definitely expanded since. Love it.

Amazing food, great services, and a tremendous choice of craft beers.

I was very excited about trying this place finally, but that feeling quickly went away. The wings are obviously from Sysco, but they gave them a fancy name and charge a lot more than they are worth. The beer is good, but that was to be expected. If you plan on just drinking, then this is the place for you. If it is food you seek, there are better options for the price in Manhattan.
