The Woman's department at this location is terrific! Always helpful and pleasant. I buy a lot on line in order to find my size and am able to return
disappointing items to store very easily. They are helpful when I need them and not pushy when I just want to browse.
Could not get any help without asking for it. Was treated very rudely. I was dressed nicely with hair and makeup done and fine jewelry on. The girl insinuated that my diamonds were fake (they re not), and when I saw a dress that I was interested in asked what size an X was she said I don t know, I don t usually deal with the large sizes. I usually wear a 12 or 14 which I found out later is an X. They lost a sale that day and a customer for life!
I have been a loyal Talbots customer for over 30 years. The other day I went in to pick up a few items. No one down in the Missy section was acting like they wanted to help me so I went up to the Petite section. I stood there and waited while the woman behind the counter was busy on her cell phone. No one was looking on the floor paying attention to the customer. I waited and waited and finally cell phone woman looked up and saw me standing there. No "I'm so sorry for your wait" -or- even a simple hello. What I got was "I was helping a customer on my phone." Uh - seriously? I'm a customer too and I was standing there with clothes and a credit card. Yikes -
I went with my wife recently and she had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely friendly, happy to go grab clothes for her, and all the clothes seemed to be quite high-quality with reasonable prices. Keep up the good work!
Staff was helpful. Got a shirt from the back I was looking for. Check out was a mess. 3 registers 2 of which were tied up with returns and exchanges and part of their ordering system was down. After 5 to 10 minutes of waiting in line the third one finally finished up and the clerk running it said she had to go to the back one of the others would help us. I was 2nd in line and decided I didn't want the clothes that much and left. BTW there were 4 people in line after me and the 2 registers doing returns and exchanges looked no where near being done. Very poor service and planning. You have a sale you make sure your system is up and running. After today I definitely won't be going to Talbot's on Black Friday no matter how good the sale.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The quality of the clothes is excellent. It's a great experience.
I picked up curbside pants yesterday and the dressing rooms were closed. I came home and tried them on and they don t fit. I called to see how to return them or exchange them and was hung up on. The second time I was put on hold. The third time I could hear them talking and they hung up on me after listening to them talk for five minutes. Very frustrating.
