I love that we approach each day with safety first in mind followed by a plan to do the work as efficiently as possible. There is tons of opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge with Status through the provinces apprenticeship program. The job has lots of variety so you don't feel your stuck doing the same thing day after day which you can find at other jobs or careers.The managers are truly understanding and provide a comfortable environment in which to learn even during the crunch times when things need to get done. I've been with the company coming on ten years and look forward to at the very least ten more.

Status has a highly supportive management team, and a thorough company safety program. My supervisors in the field are proactive in ensuring apprentices are involved hands-on with tasks that are less common/job specific. They do an excellent job of facilitating learning and grown within the trade, with regular follow up and feedback. You can see the difference in a job done by a company which places focus on quality, compared to one which simply demands production. Great experience.
