I ordered a waffle iron August 22 with an expected delivery of September 3. First notification of delay put it at end of September. Third email delayed till October 20. I called customer service to cancel order. Was told by first gentleman it couldn t be canceled. I asked for a supervisor. A nice young lady explained it was in fulfillment and could not be canceled. Exasperated I asked if more than a month notice wasn t sufficient what is. I explained it would arrive a month after the birthday. The kind young lady just told me she has to send a request to fulfillment to cancel and that takes a week for them to hear back. She says she will put a note to contact me in a week. Williams and Sonoma is in the 19th century for ordering on line. Don t do it!
