One of best palaces to visit in Rajasthan. Don't miss the vintage cars on display. Magnificent architecture of palace is breathtaking. The pictures and explanations of the palace is informative. There is a tour guide within the palace premises. Well maintained garden is treat to your eyes. Inside the palace gate small canteen that sells chilled water, icecreams and flavoured milk. There are clean bathrooms too.
Umaid Bhawan Palace is indisputably one of the most beautiful palaces or hotels not just in Rajasthan but India as well. It's gorgeous in distant view as you can see in pictures but the overall structure make it look all the more royal A lover or admirer of artifacts and historical limited editions' would really like this place. A great experience indeed.

let's start with their shahi entry... it is so pleasing reminds you of our indian tradition. their museum is super awesome. perfect place for pre wedding shoots. And their vintage car collection is super awesome.

An heritage palace which is now a 5 star hotel. You can stay and feel the luxurious life. For general public a small portion of the hotel which is a museum is open.

You can only access only a part of the palace which has been converted to museum. Entry fee is 30 rupees. Museum doesn't have much to see, just some history behind palace creation and Maharaj's life. Few articles of the maharaja, also vintage car museum displays few old school cars. Looks quite magnificent and is well maintained.

Umaid Bhawan built by Maharaja Umaid Singh between 1929 to 1943. It is a splendid example of Indo-colonial and art deco style of the 30s.
Now the big part of palace converted into a hotel, one part royal family lives and a museum is also there.
A bit disappointing after all the hype. The museum is just a collection of knick knacks from the royal household. The vintage car collection was nice. Most of the main palace has been given to Taj hotels and god forbid if you accidentally try to use the main entrance. They will shun you away like beggars.

The palace was criticized for its expensive architecture but also helped the citizens of Jodhpur to sustain their living during a 3 year famine. It was commissioned by the 37th Rathore King Umaid Singh.

One of the most hyped heritage hotels in this part of the world. Elegant buildi g. Luxurious interiors . Grand lobby. The view of lawns is superb. Had food there which turned out to be just average to below average. Got kulfi which came all limp and melting with no taste whatsoever. There is more of attitude and hype than reality. Big ticket events have just created an aura arou d the place otherwise there are better beritage hotels than this coz a mere building doesn't make a hotel.
